음악 유사도 계산은 음악 검색 서비스 구현에서 중요한 구성 요소 중 하나이다. 본 논문은 커버곡 검색 성능을 제고하기 위해서, 크로마그램 벡터 별로 커버곡 검색 적합도를 구하여 음악 유사도 계산 시 가중치로 활용한다. 커버곡 검색 적합도는 확률 적합도 모델을 이용하여 구한다. 커버곡 검색에 도움이 될 수 있는 분별도가 높은 벡터에 높은 가중치를 부여하고, 흔하게 존재하여 분별도가 떨어지는 벡터에 낮은 가중치를 부여하는 방식으로 음악 유사도 함수를 유도한다. 두 가지 커버곡 실험 데이터셋에서 성능 비교를 수행하여 제안한 음악 유사도 함수가 커버곡 검색 성능을 개선시킬 수 있음을 보였다.

음악 유사도 계산은 음악 검색 서비스 구현에서 가장 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 본 논문은 커버곡 검색의 성능을 제고하기 위한 음악 유사도 학습에 대해서 다룬다. 음악 유사도 함수를 유도하는 데 확률적 선형 판별 분석을 이용하여 잠재 음악 공간을 구한다. 잠재 음악 공간은 같은 커버곡 간의 거리는 줄이고 다른 곡 간의 거리는 크게 되도록 학습한다. 추출된 음악 특징이 잠재 음악 변수에서 생성되었다는 가정 하에 확률 모델을 구하고, 음악의 동질성 여부를 가설검증하여 음악 유사도 함수를 유도한다. 두 가지 커버곡 실험 데이터셋에서 성능 비교를 수행하여 제안한 음악 유사도 함수가 커버곡 검색 성능을 개선시킬 수 있음을 보였다.

문화란 지역과 역사를 기반으로 하여 살아가는 일종의 유기체와 같다. 따라서 시간과 공간의 정보, 그 어느 한 쪽이라도 등한시한다면 생동하는 문화의 총체 상을 파악할 수가 없다. 이러한 사실을 염두에 두고 본 논문에서는 국립국악교육기관에 대한 3D전자문화지도를 구축하는데 필요한 기초 연구를 기술한다.

안테나 어레이 기반의 무선 통신 시스템에서 신호의 도래각(: Angle-of-Arrival, AOA) 정보는 매우 중요한 요소이며, 이를 추정하기 위한 다수의 방법들이 존재한다. 대부분의 도래각 추정 알고리즘은 등간격 선형 배열(: Uniform Linear Array, ULA) 안테나를 기반으로 하고 있으며, 몇몇의 알고리즘은 평면 배열(: Planar Array, PA) 안테나를 적용하였다. 본 논문에서는 등간격 사각 어레이 안테나를 기반으로 인접하게 위치한 여러 개의 신호 도래각들을 효율적으로 추정하기 위한 알고리즘을 소개한다. 제시된 알고리즘은 두 단계를 거치는데, 가까운 신호원들이 모여 이루어진 대략적인 신호원 그룹을 CAPON 알고리즘을 사용하여 추정한 후, 추정된 그룹 안에 포함되어 있는 각 신호원의 상세한 도래각을 Beamspace MUSIC 알고리즘을 사용하여 추정한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제시된 도래각 추정 알고리즘의 성능을 평가하고 분석한다.

20세기 초 나타나기 시작한 다양하고 실험적인 음악 사조들의 흐름속에서 중요하고 의미있는 역할을 하는 작곡가 무진스키의 음악세계와 작품들을 살펴보고 오늘날의 다양한 장르의 음악과의 발전관계를 이해하는데 이 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이 논문에서는 그의 작품 중 근본이 되는 피아노 음악들을 분석하여 양식적 특성 즉, 형식, 선율, 화성, 조성, 리듬 그리고 구조 등 다양한 형태의 기법들을 살펴보고 작곡가의 음악적 성장 과정과 철학적 배경 등을 소개하고 있다. 무진스키의 음악은 20세기 음악의 다양한 형태 즉, 무조음악, 12음기법, 전위음악, 전자음악 등의 자유적인 양상에 반하여 신고전주의, 신낭만주의 혹은 신바로크적인 특징을 보여주고 있는 작가로서 전통적인 형식을 사용하였으나 작품의 성격은 매우 자유스러운 형태를 띠고 있다. 또한 1960년대 다큐멘터리 영화음악 제작에 참여하여 매우 독창적이고 감각적인 음악들을 남기고 있다. 무진스키의 음악은 현대음악 시기에 존재하지만 조성의 성격을 버리지 않고 경제적인 아이디어와 서정적인 선율, 복조성, 9음 음계 등 신고전주의적이며 신낭만주의적인 특징을 가지고 있어 매우 독창적이고 작품성 있는 음악으로 평가받고 있으며 오늘날 영화음악과 재즈음악 발전에 매우 좋은 토양이 되었다는 점에 그 의미가 크다고 할 수 있다.

음악 유사도 계산은 음악 검색 시스템 구현에 있어서 필수적인 구성 요소이다. 본 논문은 음악 검색 중에서 커버곡 검색에 대해서 다룬다. 크로마 n-gram을 이용한 커버곡 검색에 있어서 특징 DB 저장 공간을 줄이고 성능을 향상시키기 위해서 t-tab n-gram을 제안하고, n-gram 선택 방법, n-gram 집합 간 비교 방법에 관해서 연구하였다. 공개되어 있는 커버곡 데이터셋에서 실험을 수행하여 제안된 방법이 저장 공간을 줄이면서 동시에 커버곡 검색 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 보였다.

We propose an algorithm to update weight to use the mean square error method and mutual coupling matrix in a coherent channel. The algorithm proposed in this paper estimates the desired signal by using the updated weight. The updated weight is obtained by covariance matrix using mean square error and mutual coupling matrix. The MUSIC algorithm, which is direction of arrival estimation method, is mostly used in the desired signal estimation. The MUSIC algorithm has a good resolution because it uses subspace techniques. The proposed method estimates the desired signal by updating the weights using the mutual coupling matrix and mean square error method. Through simulation, we analyze the performance by comparing the classical MUSIC and the proposed algorithm in a coherent channel. In this case of the coherent channel for estimating at the three targets (-10o, 0o, 10o), the proposed algorithm estimates all the three targets (-10o, 0o, 10o). But the classical MUSIC algorithm estimates only one target (x, x, 10o). The simulation results indicate that the proposed method is superior to the classical MUSIC algorithm for desired signal estimation.

현재 상용화된 악보 채보 프로그램은 오디오 정보를 기반으로 채보를 진행한다. 이러한 기존 채보 프로그램은 환경 의존성, 장비 의존성, 시간 지연이라는 단점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 오디오를 이용하여 채보를 방식을 지양하고, 연주 영상을 분석하여 채보를 진행하는 컴퓨터 비전 기반 악보 채보 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 악보 채보 시스템은 대중화된 스마트폰 카메라를 활용하여 피아노 연주를 촬영하고, 이를 분석하여 자동으로 전자 악보인 미디파일을 생성하는 방식으로 동작한다. 컴퓨터 실험에서 제안하는 악보 채보 시스템은 95.6%의 정확도로 연주된 음계를 채보하는 것으로 조사되었다.

In this paper, we propose an analysis of the sound source of virtual orchestral music in detail by using the production technology of sampling and playback, and technical experiments and verification for the most advanced Hollywood Library series of timbre and the timbre production and control technology of Vienna instrument Pro and other softwares, to find their solutions and come up with the best timbre production method for orchestral music from the perspective of the specific design ideas of the productions of virtual orchestral instruments. The so-called virtual orchestral instruments are non-real orchestral instruments, which are based on the imitation of timbre of real orchestral instruments, processed and synthesized through the scientific and technological means, and produced by the use of electronic equipments or computers. The study of virtual timbre production technology is very important, and it is like the study of composers' creative techniques. Not only scientific and advanced timbre production methods can be obtained from the study, but also new ways of future timbre production are expected to be explored.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the formative characteristics and symbolism shown in Rock stars' hairstyles through rock music to have influenced youth culture. There were a D.A style and a mop top style which included the youth characteristic to seek a new desire and value as the hairstyles of Rock & Roll stars, along with the characteristics of Rock & Roll music to represent the feeling of teenagers in 1950's at that time unlike the previous music due to high beats mixed with Rhythm & Blues (R & B) and Country music, and use of electronic guitars. We can see the desire for challenge and freedom against the then present regime, shouting love and peace, and resistance in the Psychedelic Rock music stars' hairstyle, which are untrimmed and disheveled, that is, natural. We can find explosiveness in Mohican and Spike style of Punk Rock stars playing fierce and aggressive music, along with words including indignation and assertion against the society's regime. The Artistic characteristic is implied in the following hairstyles: Glam Rock stars' hairstyle, a man's long-haired but a little long crew-cut style to reduce the bulky feeling and to give a bisexual, visible shock with hair dyed in orange to emphasize magnificence, and Punk Rock stars' hairstyle showing beauty in their own way with expression of anti-beauty to intentionally look ugly. Like this, the 20th Century's Rock music and youth culture are closely associated each other, and showed a new style, and played a leading role in street fashion, which became a momentum to much influence high fashion as a look of the 20th century modern fashion.
