Study on Reactive Non-thermal Plasma Process combined with Metal Oxide Catalyst for Removal of Dilute Trichloroethylene

  • In order to improve energy efficiency in the dilute trichloroethylene removal using the nonthermal plasma process, the barrier discharge treatment combined with manganese dioxide was experimentally studied. Reaction kinetics in this process was studied on the basis of final byproducts distribution. Decomposition efficiency was improved to about $99\;\%$ at the specific energy of 40 J/L with passing through manganese dioxide. C=C ${\pi}$ bond cleavage of TCE substances gave DCAC, which has the single bond of C-C through oxidation reaction during the barrier discharge plasma treatment. Those DCAC were broken easily in the subsequent catalytic reaction due to the weak bonding energy about $3{\sim}4\;eV$ compared with the double bonding energy in TCE molecules. Oxidation byproducts of DCAC and TCAA from TCE decomposition are generated from the barrier discharge plasma treatment and catalytic surface chemical reaction, respectively. Complete oxidation of TCE into COx is required to about 400 J/L, but $CO_2$ selectivity remains about $60\;\%$.

An Empirical Study of Effect how e-Trade and e-L/C Impact on Business Performance in SME (우리나라 중소기업의 전자신용장 활용(e-L/C)과 사업성과에 관한 실증연구)

  • Recently, enterprise information management activities have been applied to promote electronic trade, while changing the paradigm of cross-border trade and overall trade business processes. L/C, which facilitates payment from the trade transaction in a company, has been able to eliminate the high cost and inefficient element of the trade process by utilizing the electronic letter of credit (e-L/C). This study examines the influential relationship among the e-trade utilizing factor (such as the perceived ease of use and the volition of CEO), the e-L/C and corporate performance, and the study aimed to verify the moderating effect of customer service level by organizations utilizing e-trade. For the purpose of the research, we conducted a survey implementing the e-L/C and analyzed the 338 data collected. The results of this research are as follows. First, the perceived ease of use and volition of CEO have positive impact on the e-L/C. Second, the e-L/C has positive impact on the business performance. Third, a moderating effect shows on the customer expectation level. The main implication of this study is that the perceived ease of use is to be considered preferentially than the volition of CEO in order to utilize electronic trading, and the volition of CEO shows synergy effect with customer service level by organization utilizing e-trade.

A Study on the Outcome of International Trade Practice in Commitment of Electronic Trade (전자무역의 몰입이 무역업무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study tried to analyzed the relationship outcome and commitment in order to suggest to a outcome for commitment decision-making of e-trade. 6 hypothesis were constructed for analysis based on previous literature review. The subject of this study is to analyse on electronic trade practice outcome on the international trade practice commitment. This paper investigates the outcome determinants of e-trade commitment. There are 250 sended samples and 188 returns, 168 of them are analyzed on commitment for a electronic trade outcome. The first, multiple regression result shows that the international trade practice outcome are positively affected by the "Overseas market research commitment", "e-L/C Practice commitment", "Clearance Practice commitment", "e-B/L or global logistic commitment", "Payment or e-Nego commitment". However, The "Commerce practice commitment" factors does not affect in the electronic trade practice outcome.

  • (M $n_{l-x}$M $g_{l-x}$)F $e_{2+x}$ $O_4$(x=0.0, 0.025, 0.1, 0.2) for NTC(negative temperature coefficient) thermistor was prepared by calcining at 80$0^{\circ}C$ and sintering at from 1100 to 130$0^{\circ}C$ with 5$0^{\circ}C$ intervals while x was varied from 0.0 to 0.025, 0.1 and 0.2. The best linear property was obtained in the based specimen sintered at 120$0^{\circ}C$ with x=0.1 composition. Thermistor parameter, $B_{25~85^{\circ}C}$, was in the range of 5000~ 7300 [K]. Temperature coefficient of resistance, $\alpha$$_{25^{\circ}C}$, was -5.2 %/$^{\circ}C$. The results showed the possibility that Mn-Ni-Co based thermistor could be substituted by the composition used in this study was confirmed.med.d.

  • Generally the high dielectric films, such as PZT(Pb(Z $r^{1-x}$ $Ti_{x}$ ) $O_3$) and BST(B $a_{l-x}$S $r_{x}$ Ti $O_3$) have been formed on the Pt thin films. However it is generally known that the dry etching of Pt is difficult because of its chemical stability. So, the dry etching of Pt remains at the preliminary work. Therefore, in this study, Pt etching mechanism was investigated with Ar/C $l_2$gas plasma by using XPS(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) and QMS(Quadrupole mass spectrometry). Ion current density was measured with Ar/C $l_2$gas plasma by using single Langmuir probe. XPS results shoved that the atomic % of Cl element on the etched Pt sample increased with increasing Ar/(Ar+C $l_2$). And QMS results showed that the increase of Ar partial pressure in the plasma resulted in the improvement of C $l_2$dissociation and Cl redical formation and simultaniously the increase of ion bombardment effects.s.s.

  • The lanthanum-modified lead titanate (PLT) thin films on (100) cleaved MgO single crystal substrate have been prepared by RF magnetron sputtering method using PbO-rich target with varing La contents. The substrate temperature, working pressure, $Ar/O_{2}$, and RF power density of PLT thin films were $580^{\circ}C$ 10mTorr, 10/1, and $1.7W/cm^{2}$, respectively. In these conditions, the c-axis growth and tetragonality of the PLT thin films decreased for addition of La content and the PLT thin films showed diffuse phase transition from high temperature XRD patterns. The infrared sensor was fabricated. The remanent polarization was above $1.71{\mu}C/cm^{2}$ and the pyroelectric voltage was above 500mV with 10:1 signal to noise ratio.

Luminance Characteristics of a Novel Red-Light-Emitting Device Based on Znq2 and Dye

  • In this study, a novel red emitting organic electroluminescent (EL) device was fabricated with the bis(8-oxyquinolino)zinc II (Znq2) doped dye as an emitting layer. The Znq2 was synthesized successfully from zinc chloride (ZnC1$_2$) as an initial material. Then, we fabricated the red organic EL device with a dye (DCJTB) doped and inserted Znq2 between emission layer and cathode for increasing EL efficiency. The hole transporting layer is a N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-bis-(3-methylphenyl)-1,1'-diphenyl-4,4-diamine (TPD), and the host material of emission layer is Znq2. And the electrical and luminance characteristics of the device were measured. We found that the EL device with Znq2 inserting layer results in the increasing luminance efficiency.

Structural Properties of BSCT Thick Films with variation of Sintering Temperature (소결온도에 따른 BSCT 후막의 구조적 특성)

  • BSCT(60/30/10) powder specimens were fabricated by sol-gel method and BSCT thick films were fabricated by screen-printing method. The coating and drying procedure was repeated 6 times. Then the structural properties as a function of the sintering temperature. As a result of the TG-DTA, exothermic peak was observed at around $670^{\circ}C$ due to the crystalline phase. The BSCT sintered at $1430^{\circ}C$ showed the cubic perovskite structure. The prosity and thickness of the BSCT thick films was decreased with sintering temperature. The thickness of BSCT thick films at $1420^{\circ}C$ was approximately $40{\mu}m$.
