Fine grayscale data exceeding 8 bits per pixel is mapped into the sRGB color space so as to be displayed on a 24-bit sRGB CRT monitor. The characteristics of the pseudo gray generated by mapping are investigated in terms of the CIELAB color difference and chromaticities.

본 논문에서는 배터리의 상태 진단을 위한 임피던스 측정시스템을 제시한다. Labview를 이용한 임피던스 측정 시스템은 저가에서 구성할 수 있고, 변화되는 임피던스를 확인이 가능해 수명을 진단하는 지표로 이용 가능하다. 제시된 임피던스 측정 방법은 용량에 상관없이 측정이 가능하고, 기존의 장치보다 측정과 값을 계산하기가 간단하다. 또한, 고가의 장비를 이용하지 않고도, Labview와 DAQ를 이용하여 정확성 높은 결과를 구할 수 있다.

In this paper, we present a new design for angle-sensitive pixels (ASPs). The proposed ASPs take advantage of subwavelength compound gratings to capture the light angle, which enables pixel size to reach the wavelength scale of 0.7 ㎛ × 0.7 ㎛. The subwavelength compound gratings are implemented by the wires of the readout circuit inherent to the standard complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor manufacturing process, thus avoiding additional off-chip optics or post-processing. This technique allows the use of two pixels for horizontal or vertical angle detection, and can determine the light's angle in the range from -45° to +45°. The proposed sensor enables surface-profile reconstruction of microscale samples using a lensless imaging system.

본 논문에서는 심장 돌연사(sudden cardiac death, SCD)의 주된 원인인 세동(fibrillation)을 낮은 에너지에서 효율적으로 제거할 수 있는 biphasic 자동형 제세동기를 개발하였다. 개발한 제세동기는 고전압 충 방전부와 신호처리부를 포함하는 하드웨어와 세동검출 알고리즘과 시스템 제어 알고리즘의 소프트웨어로 구성하였다. 개발한 시스템의 안정성과 효용성을 검증하기 위하여, 실험실 환경에서 160 번의 연속적인 충 방전 테스트를 통하여 시스템의 안정성을 확인하였으며, ECG simulator 에서 발생되는 6 종의 세동신호를 적용하여 100％의 실시간 검출능력을 확인하였다.

The discharge characteristics of a flat plasma backlight with long electrode gap are investigated. The effect of operating voltage and repetition rate on brightness and luminance efficiency is investigated. A new high efficacy mode is found at low frequencies around 15-40 KHz; a lumen efficacy of 15.3 lm/W is achieved at a luminance of $2400\;cd/m^2$. In the high brightness mode, present at high voltage, we find a maximum luminance of $5900\;cd/m^2$ at 30KHz.
