기전 시스템의 동역학 해석 (Dynamic analysis of electromechanical system)

  • This paper presents the dynamic analysis method for an electromechanical system. The engineer has at his disposal a variety of software simulation tools. However, difficulties arise when the study of the behavior of complex electromechanical systems in combination with coupling element is required. Typical examples of such systems are machines for factory automation, home automation, and office automation. Dynamic systems analysis packages or electronic systems analysis packages offer the restrictive to simulate these mixed systems such electromechanical product. Electronic circuit analysis algorithm is easily incorporated into a multi-body dynamics analysis algorithm. The governing equation of electronic circuit is formulated as a differential algebraic equation form including both electrical and mechanical variables and is simultaneously solved in every time step. This analysis method clearly demonstrates the application potential for mixed electromechanical simulation.

Double DOF control of an electromechanical integrated toroidal drive

  • The electromechanical integrated toroidal drive is a new drive system. For the control of the drive, the torque fluctuation and the steady-state errors should be removed and the fast response to the input change should be achieved. In this paper, the torque fluctuation of the drive system is analyzed and expressed as Fourier series forms. The transfer function of the torque control for the drive system is derived from its electromechanical coupled dynamic equations. A 2-DOF control method is used to control the drive system. Using definite parameter relationship of the 2-DOF control system, the steady errors of the torque control for the drive system is removed. Influences of the drive parameters on the control system are investigated. Using proper drive parameters, the response time of the control system is reduced and the quick torque response of the drive system is realized. Using a compensated input voltage, the torque fluctuation of the drive system is removed as well. The compensated input voltage can be obtained from the torque fluctuation equation and the transfer function. These research results are useful for designing control system of the new drive.

  • In this paper, the wavelet denoising techniques using thresholding method are applied to the low cost micro electromechanical system (MEMS)-global positioning system(GPS) integrated system. This was done to improve the navigation performance. The low cost MEMS signals can be distorted with conventional pre-filtering method such as low-pass filtering method. However, wavelet denoising techniques using thresholding method do not distort the rapidly-changing signals. They can reduce the signal noise. This paper verified the improvement of the navigation performance compared to the conventional pre-filtering by simulation and experiment.

  • 본 논문에서는 근래에 들어 중/소형급 추진기관을 갖는 발사체의 추력벡터제어용 구동 장치시스템으로 적용 연구가 활발히 진행되고 여는 전기-기계식 구동장치시스템에 대한 설계 및 해석, 이에 기반을 둔 시제품 제작 및 시험 수행 결과를 기술하였다. 아울러 발사체 적용 추진기관 형상 및 규모를 기준으로 적합한 구동장치시스템의 원천동력 형상을 분류하였다. 국내에서 개발 중인 중/소형 추진기관 추력벡터제어용 구동장치시스템의 원천 동력은 배터리의 전기동력이며 이를 사용한 구동장치 형상은 전기-유압식과 전기-기계식으로 구분된다. 전기-기계식 형상이 전기-유압식 보다 작은 동력 변환 과정을 수행하기 때문에 원천동력 대비 구동기 출력동력의 비율을 나타내는 전효율이 우수한 것으로 분석되었다. 아울러 유사한 동력 규모와 기능을 갖는 구동장치시스템을 구성할 경우 전기-기계식 형상이 소요 부품의 수가 감소하여 중량 측면에서도 우위에 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Displacements of the flexible ring for an electromechanical integrated harmonic piezodrive system

  • In this paper, an electromechanical integrated harmonic piezodrive system is proposed. The operating principle of the drive system is introduced. The equation of the relationship between the displacements of the flexible ring and the rotating angle of the rotor is deduced. Using the equation, the displacements of the flexible ring for the drive system and their changes along with the system parameters are investigated. The results show that the displacements of the flexible ring changes periodically along with the rotation of the vibrator; there are abrupt changes in the displacements of the flexible ring at some points where there are abrupt changes in the number of the mesh teeth pair; the length of the flexible ring, the excitation voltage, and the speed ratio have obvious effects on the displacements of the flexible ring. The results are useful for the design of the drive system. ;

  • When one is interested in the dynamics of a mechanical system with electric motors, the force generated by the motor is generally considered as only an applied torque or force independent of mechanical state variables such as velocity. For a system operated in non-steady dynamic conditions, however, the usual analysis approach may fail to predict some characteristics in the dynamic behaviors because of electromechanical coupling effects. In this paper, we propose dynamics analysis model in which dc motor dynamics with the electromechanical coupling effects are embedded to mechanical dynamics models. The do motor is modeled based on its equivalent circuit model and included in the dynamics solving algorithm which we developed before, called generalized recursive dynamics formula. The developed dynamic analysis model is effective and realistic for analysis of electromechanical dynamics of a system with do motors. The developed model is evaluated by constructing and simulating the flexible antennas of an artificial satellite driven by do motors.

Displacements of the helical stator tooth for an electromechanical integrated toroidal drive

  • The stator tooth is a key component of the electromechanical integrated toroidal drive system. The stator tooth is spiral in shape and the calculation of its displacements is difficult. In this paper, using the coordinate transformation method, the displacements of the stator tooth in the local coordinate system are expressed as the function of the variable in the drive coordinate system. Using the minimum potential energy principle, the equations of the displacements of the stator tooth under the loads are deduced. The displacement distributions within the stator tooth are investigated and the changes of the displacement distributions along with the main parameters are analyzed. This research can offer the basis for the strength and stiffness design of the drive system.

  • Dynamics of the electric system for the toroidal drive under mechanical disturbance is presented. Using the method of perturbation, free vibrations of the electric system under mechanical disturbance are studied. The forced responses of the electric system to voltage excitation under mechanical disturbance are also presented. We show that as the time grows, the resonance vibration caused by voltage excitation still exists and the vibrations caused by mechanical disturbance are enlarged. The coupled resonance vibration caused by mechanical disturbance and voltage excitation is discussed. The conditions of the occurrence of coupled resonance are studied.

  • The sintering phenomena, electrical resistivity, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of lead titanate ceramics modified by the partial substitution of La for Pb and Mn for Ti, (Pb1-1.5xLax)(Ti1-yMny)O3 ceramics, have been investigated. In (Pb1-1.5xLax)(Ti1-yMny)O3 system, with increasing lanthanum content, the realtive bulk density increased, but the Curie point and tetragonality (c/a) decreased. The tetragonal-to-cubic phase transition boundary existed in the range of 0.20

Computational Study to Understand the Cardiac Electromechanical Responses in LBBB and RBBB to the Application of CRT and LVAD

  • the aim of this study was to observe the combined effect of the CRT and LVAD on electromechanical cardiac behavior under LBBB and RBBB conditions computationally. We performed simulation by using advanced electromechanics model of failing ventricle combined with lumped model represents circulatory system, CRT and LVAD. We analyzed seven failing ventricle model including normal sinus rhythm, LBBB, LBBB coupled with CRT, LBBB coupled with CRT and LVAD, RBBB, RBBB coupled with CRT, and RBBB coupled with CRT and LVAD. We compared the effect from CRT and the effect from combined CRT and LVAD to both under LBBB and RBBB conditions. The results showed that the combined CRT and LVAD contributed a better hemodynamic compared to single CRT. This combined system synchronized the electrical activation greatly under LBBB and slightly under RBBB. It also shortened mechanical activation time which resulted short electromechanical delay. More importantly, the combined system produced better mechanical responses under both LBBB and RBBB conditions.
