Analysis of the Status of Safety Management of Photovoltaic Power Generation Facilities (태양광발전설비 안전관리 현황 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyzed the present status of the safety manager and safety assurance aspects through a complex analysis on the operational aspects, marketability and electrical safety aspects of photovoltaic power generation facilities. In the analysis of the equipment status, we analyzed the status and operated status of the installed PV system in Korea and the correlation between the safety manager and the accident. In addition, we analyzed the direction of the ESS through the analysis of the installation status of the ESS, and applied it to the interpretation part of the ESS associated with the solar power generation. The status of the electric safety manager can be used to analyze the data for selecting the electric safety manager by capacity by analyzing the accident status, the electric safety manager operation status, the safety management time by capacity, and the electric safety manager market.

  • This paper proposes the adapter for interrupting capacity augmentation of circuit breaker which can be applied in case of shortage in a existing circuit breaker's interrupting capacity due to utility system extension. The adapter utilizes two winding type of reactor instead of single winding type of reactor and the control of 2ry circuit is excuted by a triac interlocked with the system protective relays actuation so as to cut out the reactor by short circuit of the 2ry winding in normal situation and to cut in the reactor by open circuit of the 2ry winding in abnomal situation such as short circuit accident. As a result of the theoritical analysis and experiment, it is proved that the adaptor can reduce the voltage crop and iron loss due to the reactor signigicantly in normal system condition and do a role of reactor upon the power system accident.

  • An existent hoist drive system is using each different drive equipment in control of Hoisting, traveling(T/L), traversing(T/S) driving, so there are much energy losses because of excessive weight. Also, power circuits are using relay contact, so working environment are frequent secession accident etc.. by shock on unfavorable condition, and there is danger of safety accident, maintenance has frequent problem and so on. To solve these problem, it is integrated each driving power supply in drive system for hoist control and drive, utility power supply etc.. by single device in this research. The power circuit is consisted of non-contact circuit applying to bidirectional voltage controller circuit using thyristor that is power semiconductor switching device

  • In this paper, electrification pipe modeled on the oil path that insulating oil flow in the high power transformer is manufactured in order to prevent the accident cause from streaming electrification generated when insulating off flow at a solid-liquid interface, and the streaming current is measured and analyzed according to the shape of oil path in electrification pipe. From the result of this study, the streaming current increases linearly with increasing of a oil velocity and it increases at lower temperature and decreases at higher temperature than [$46^{\circ}C$]. The smoother the flow of insulating oil is the more the streaming current decreases.

  • In this paper, aging diagnosis method of CV cable was investigated. CV cable was designed for the sake of using during 30 years. Therefore it was important to evaluate the cable's remaining life because CV cable used for power transmission line since 1970's. CV cable was mainly installed at the underground owing to the environmental condition. If the cable accident occurred, it needs the much time for the accident recovery and the much damage at the industrial activity. therefore, this paper should study the direct leakage current method, a sort of the cables' aging test method

  • Interlocking signalling system plays key role as core system to manage railway operation. The core role of railway operation is to control routing, displaying signal and regulation for train. Interlocking system relate tightly to railway accident because collision and derailment is sometime taken place wrong route setting and signal displaying. Safety activity for interlocking system is inevitable to avoid the accident over its life cycle. The safety activity includes hazard identification and analysis, safety requirement allocation, safety plan, safety activity and ao on. The safety activity need a broad wide range work. In this paper, we concentrate on hazard identification for generic interlocking system and programmable electronic interlocking system and compare between two results. The hazards will be used for safety activity.

  • Recently, electric vehicles have got significant attention because it is more eco-friendly and efficient than internal combustion engine vehicles. Instead of an internal combustion engine, the electric vehicle has a motor for propulsion. The permanent magnet synchronous motor which has permanent magnet instead of field winding in the rotor has especially higher efficiency and power density than other types of motor. When the irreversible demagnetization is occurred, drivers are exposed to high risk of accident by the fault operation of motor. Therefore, the irreversible demagnetization of permanent magnet should be detected to reduce the risk of accident. In this study, the demagnetization diagnosis method based on the result of locked rotor test is proposed. Based on short measurement time, the proposed diagnosis method aims to detect the demagnetization fault when an electric vehicle is at a complete standstill. The proposed method is verified through the finite element analysis.

  • Since the starting reactor used for reducing inrush current of high voltage induction motor applies an electric current only when it is at the stage of transition, it gets lots of electrical or mechanical stress. In this aspect, the reliability on the starting reactor is very important because the reactor-relating-accident takes 80% of all the accident concerned with high voltage motor starting panel. In this study, we conducted an insulation test of starting reactor of high voltage induction motor of intake pumping station to the Seoul area And the result from this study was used as data for determining whether it's still usable or not.

  • Because MCCB, ELB, etc. discharge both technical and economical duty, it is important that the study of circuit breaker guarantee high-performance and realize the power distribution system with reliability. Because of complexity electrical equipment, the accident with imbalance and flicker occur often according to technical improvement. However, study of accident with harmonics remains. In this paper, the essential characteristic of circuit breaker is introduced. To analysis operation of circuit breaker, theoretical model and several simulations have been performed.
