  • Urban transit is system that offer target Performance and function because various lower part system such as vehicles, signaling, power supply, rail track is consisted as complex. It is important first of all that describe correctly system requirement until configuration of system, design, manufacture, installation and test verification so that the complicated urban transit system is to act safety and reliable and to display target Performance and function properly. The system requirement assist the system developer to comprehensive the performance and function of system in basic design. Therefore, In this paper wishes to study way to analyze system of system requirement and apply to Urban transit.

  • Continuous temperature monitoring and event recording provides information on the energized equipment's response to normal and emergency conditions. On-line temperature monitoring helps to coordinate equipment specifications and ratings, determine the real limits of the monitored equipment and optimize facility operations. Using wireless technique eliminates any need for special cables and wires with lower installation costs if compared to other types of online condition monitoring equipment. In addition, wireless temperature monitoring works well under difficult conditions in strategically important locations. Wireless technology for on-line condition monitoring of energized equipment is applicable both as standalone system and with an interface with power quality monitoring system. The paper presents the results of wireless temperature monitoring of switchgear at a power plant over a two-year period.

  • 지중송전선로 건설공사에 154kV 장조장 케이블 드럼개발 및 트레일러 일체형 Under Roller 방식을 이용한 포설장비를 개발하여 현장에 적용함으로써 신기술 신개발 공법 적용으로 인한 국제경쟁력 향상 뿐만 아니라 접속경간의 장조장 설계로 케이블 접속개소 감소로 인한 공사비절감과 공사기간 단축에 크게 기여하였다. 이와 동시에 공사를 위한 도로점용 단축으로 민원발생을 크게 감소시켰다. 현행 도로법 규제로 케이블의 운반중량이 제한되었던 케이블 표준 경간을 450m에서 최대 700m까지 가능하여 접속개소의 유연성이 확보되었을 뿐만 아니라 토목구조물(전력구,관로등)공사의 다양한 설계방법을 적용할 수 있게 되었다.

  • This paper proposes the calculation method of voltage sensitivity index using CBEMA power acceptability curves and the voltage curves of the load bus to which momentary events occur. Voltage sensitivity index is represented by areas between two curves. Voltage sensitivity index is a parameter that depicts the ratio of a load disruption. The correlation between the installation cost of compensation devices and the voltage sag index on the bus can be used the validity of compensation.

  • In this study, we studied the change plan essentially used for improving the existing railroad signal system. For mixed installation with the existing equipment by introducing new equipment in the city railroad currently operated, it is required to establish a plan depending on the change and to present a plan for change. For the change, since it is necessary to classify ground equipment and onboard equipment and change must be carried out considering performance and functions of each equipment, we classified and studied each equipment for plans of change.

  • This paper presents a study on successive approximation measurement of mechanical parameters for motor control system. At the first step of servo system installation, control system gain tuning is troublesome work. Recently, auto-tuning method of motion controller for motor drive system is based on parameter measurement and identification. On the case of first order mechanical system (mechanical parameters are modified by simple inertia and friction), it is necessary for good response to get the accurate measurement or identification of the mechanical parameters. In this paper, novel method applies the binary successive approximation measurement to the inertia and friction coefficient. Computer simulation and experiment for the proposed method will show verification of accuracy and usefulness.

  • Reliance on electric power has increased together with customer's demand for delightful and convenient linging. Recently, as appeared in the rapid growth of the technology of power electronics, the installation and apparatus using semiconductor applicotion is widly supplied and used from a household goods to industrial goods. However, these machine generate harmonics current and voltage for electric power system. The harmonics current is increased voltage distortion and generate a lot of interference in the electric power system. In this paper, the trend of the trend of suppression technology of harmonics outflow and the fundamental theory about the suppression of harmonics current in the distribution system are investigated and evaluated Therefore we look forward to supply electric power of good quality to satisfy the harmonics current guide line which is applied to household goods in the world.

  • The installation of small sized dispersed generation(DG) units operating in parallel with the utility supply presents several technical problems for the protection and control of the system. One of the critical concerns is the occurrence of islanding. Hence, this paper propose the Digital Universal Relay(DUR) including anti-islanding function as DG interconnection interface. The existent islanding detection algorithms are examined. And the most effective and reliable method of those is modified for DUR application. The modified algorithm is evaluated through the modeling of the test system by PSCAD/EMTDC.
