마찰대전 나노발전기의 출력 및 안정성 향상을 위한 일렉트렛 개발 (Development of Electret to Improve Output and Stability of Triboelectric Nanogenerator)

  • 초소형, 웨어러블 기기 기술의 빠른 발전에 따라, 전자기기 구동을 위한 시공간적인 제한이 없는 지속적인 전기 공급을 필요로 한다. 이에 따라, 두 가지 다른 재료의 접촉과 분리로 만들어지는 정전기를 활용하는 마찰대전 나노발전기(Triboelectric nanogenerator, TENG)는 간단한 원리 덕분에, 복잡한 과정 및 설계 없이도 자연에서 버려지는 다양한 형태의 에너지들을 효과적으로 수확하는 수단으로 활용되고 있다. 하지만, TENG의 실생활의 적용을 위해서는 전기적 출력의 증가가 필요하다. 또한, 전기적 출력의 증가뿐만 아니라 전기적 출력의 안정적인 발생은 TENG의 상용화를 위해서 해결해야 될 과제이다. 본 연구에서는 TENG의 출력을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라, 향상된 출력을 안정적으로 나타낼 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 출력의 향상 및 안정성을 위해서 TENG 구성 요소 중 하나인 접촉층을 일렉트렛으로 사용하였다. 활용된 일렉트렛은 Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) 필름에 코로나 차징과 열처리 과정을 순차적으로 진행함으로써 제작되었다. 코로나 차징으로 인해 인위적으로 주입된 전하가 열처리 과정에 의해서 깊은 트랩으로 들어가게 되어 전하의 이탈 현상이 최소화된 일렉트렛을 제작하고 이를 TENG 제작에 활용하였다. 제작된 일렉트렛의 출력 성능은 수직 접촉 분리 모드 TENG의 전압 출력을 측정함으로써 검증되었고, 코로나 차징 과정을 거친 일렉트렛은 어떠한 처리도 되지 않은 FEP 필름에 대비 12배 높은 출력 전압을 나타냈다. 일렉트렛의 시간 및 습도 안정성은 일반 외부 환경 및 극한의 습도 환경에 일렉트렛을 노출시킨 후, TENG의 출력 전압을 측정함으로써 확인되었다. 또한, 박수를 모티브로 한 Clap-TENG에 일렉트렛을 적용하여 LED를 작동시킴으로써 실생활에 적용할 수 있음을 보여주었다.

  • In this paper examine the characteristics of the generator supplying the most significant electrical energy in some parts required to drive the vehicle, and it is focused on to fabricate a performance evaluation unit for developing alternator with better performance. Through performance tests in accordance with the electrical load of alternators that is made in Valeo Corp. and Denso Corp., which are currently applied by H Corp., the fabricated performance evaluation unit has measured the power generation amount of the electrical energy supplied from the alternator, and it was analyzed. On the basis of this result, and to understand the flow of electrical energy of the vehicle, furthermore, it is intended to verify the usefulness of the performance evaluation unit which is designed in this paper. In this paper, based on the mechanism of the proposed performance evaluation unit, it will try to learn the convergence technology that can be applied to the design of the performance evaluation unit of other components of the vehicle.

운동 에너지를 고려한 Flywheel Energy Storage System 설계와 진동 저감을 위한 3상 유도기의 슬롯수 산정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determination of Slot's Number of Rotor to Reduce Noise and Vibration and Design the 3-Phase Induction Motor Considering Kinetic Energy in Flywheel Energy Storage System)

  • 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치(Flywheel Energy Storage System, FESS)은 회전 운동 에너지를 저장하는 플라이휠 부분과 저장된 회전 에너지를 전기 에너지로 변환시키는 전동기/발전기 부분으로 구성된다. 일반적으로 플라이휠의 회전축은 전동기 및 발전기의 회전축과 동축 일체형으로 연결되고, 이때 전동기 및 발전기의 전자기 토크특성에 따른 동특성 변화는 전체 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치의 충방전 특성과 기계적인 출력에 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 5[kWh] 급 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치 용 3상 유도전동기의 설계방법과 회전자 슬롯 수 변화에 따른 토크리플 특성과 고조파 영향을 중점적으로 분석하였다. 먼저, 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치의 용량과 관성 모멘트에 의한 회전운동에너지의 관계식으로부터 플라이휠 크기와 전동기의 회전자 크기를 산정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치의 회전축의 고속구동 조건을 반영하여, 고속운전 영역에서의 전동기 토크리플 저감을 위한 유도전동기 회전자 슬롯수를 선정하였다. 이로부터 본 논문에서는 전동기 회전축과 동축으로 구성된 플라이휠의 소음 진동을 줄이고 고효율 충방전 특성을 구현하고자 한다.

  • This paper proposes a new cascoded configuration for hybrid energy storage system (HESS) which consists of batteries and supercapacitor (SC) for Electric Vehicle applications. In this configuration,a resonant LLC converter is interfacedin series with a battery module and it converts a part of the energy from the batteries and transfer it to the dc-link bus. The LLC converter is controlled by a phase-shift angle between the primary and secondary switches to maintain a constant dc-link voltage and obtain soft-switching conditions for all the primary switches. By placing the SC moduleina cascoded concept, the rated voltage of SC can be reduced significantly compared with the conventional topologies. It helps save the cost and reduce the number of SC cells. The proposed configuration can operate with four different modes: feeding load, acceleration, regenerative braking andSC charging. A scaled-down prototype converter (2 kW, 600V output) is designed and tested to verify the advantages of the proposed topology. The maximum efficiency obtained with the proposed topology is 99%.

Control of a Bidirectional Z-Source Inverter for Electric Vehicle Applications in Different Operation Modes

  • This paper proposes two control strategies for the bidirectional Z-source inverters (BZSI) supplied by batteries for electric vehicle applications. The first control strategy utilizes the indirect field-oriented control (IFOC) method to control the induction motor speed. The proposed speed control strategy is able to control the motor speed from zero to the rated speed with the rated load torque in both motoring and regenerative braking modes. The IFOC is based on PWM voltage modulation with voltage decoupling compensation to insert the shoot-through state into the switching signals using the simple boost shoot-through control method. The parameters of the four PI controllers in the IFOC technique are designed based on the required dynamic specifications. The second control strategy uses a proportional plus resonance (PR) controller in the synchronous reference frame to control the AC current for connecting the BZSI to the grid during the battery charging/discharging mode. In both control strategies, a dual loop controller is proposed to control the capacitor voltage of the BZSI. This controller is designed based on a small signal model of the BZSI using a bode diagram. MATLAB simulations and experimental results verify the validity of the proposed control strategies during motoring, regenerative braking and grid connection operations.

EPR의 열화에 의한 충.방전 전류 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Properties of Charge & Discharge Current by Degrade in EPR)

  • This paper describes the degraded properties of between the charge and discharge current for ${\gamma}$-ray irradiated in electric power cable rubbers using in nuclear power generating station. The charge and discharge current of degradation in EPR(Ethylene Propylene Rubber), which were irradiated with the radiant capacity of 0.033 Mrad/h, have been measured in order to investigate the influence of the atmosphere(in amount of reinforcing agent, moisture absorption and heat treatment) on electrical properties. When ${\gamma}$-ray were irradiated on the EPR with more reinforcing agent from 4 to 40 Phr, charge and discharge currents was increase due to the amount of reinforcing agent. It was verified that the discharging and charging currents irradiated by ${\gamma}$-ray were higher than those that was not irradiated. The amount of the degraded current was more after moisture absorption than before moisture absorption. The charge and discharge current after heat treatment was similar to that of before heat treatment and it was decreased with the time elapsed. As these properties related with ${\gamma}$-ray irradiation dose, it is suggested that these properties can be utilized as a index of irradiation degradation.

3전극형 전자종이 디스플레이의 전자잉크 주입 방법에 따른 광학 특성 분석 (Analysis of Optical Characteristics According to Electronic Ink Loading Method of Three-Electrode Type E-Paper Display)

  • An electronic paper display was fabricated by injecting electronic ink, including white and black particles coated by positive and negative charge control agents (CCA), respectively, into closed cells surrounded by micro-barriers. These two types of charged, colored particles are easily damaged or their charging value can be changed by the injection process; therefore, the electrical and optical properties of the image panel fabricated by the injection method were estimated in this study. The active particle-loading method, proposed as a new electronic ink injection process, was applied, and the electro-optical properties of the resulting three-electrode-type e-paper image panel were analyzed. The reflection rate of the white image-panel fabricated with our new injection method was 24.7%, while that of the same panel fabricated with a previously reported injection method was 19.8%. In addition, the response time was improved by about five times compared to those reported in other publications.

  • Power system stabilizer act efficiently to damp the electromechanical oscillations in interconnected power systems. This paper presents an algorithm for the optimal parameter selection of a power system stabilizer in two-area power systems with a series HVDC link. This method is one of the classical techniques by allocating properly pole-zero positions to fit as closely as desired the ideal phase lead between the voltage reference and the generator electrical power and by changing the gain to produce a necessary damping torque over the matched frequency range. Control of HVDC converter and inverter are used a constant current loop. Proper parameters of PI controllers are obtain based on the Root-locus technique in other to have sufficient speed and stability margin to cope with charging reference values and disturbance. The small signal stability arid transient stability studies using the PSS parameters obtained from this method show that a natural oscillation frequency of the studycase system is adequately damped. Also the simulation results using the HVDC converter and inverter parameters obtained from this proposed method show proper current control characteristics. The simulation used in the paper was performed by the Power System Toolbox software program based on MATLAB.

  • 전기 장치용 리튬폴리머 전지의 전기적 모델링은 전기에너지 공급시스템의 특성을 파악하는데 매우 중요하다. 본 논문은 리튬폴리머 전지의 동적특성을 모사하기 위한 전기적 등가 모델을 제안하였다. 리튬폴리머 전지의 충/방전 실험은 Maccor 8500 충방전시험장치를 사용하였다. 측정된 데이터를 이용하여 전지의 R-C 값을 선정하였으며, 선정된 값은 다항식 함수와 지수 함수를 사용하여 수식으로 나타내었다. 시뮬레이션 결과와 실험결과를 비교하여 제안된 모델의 타당성을 검증하였다

  • Recently, various researches and projects about electric vehicles are in progress vigorously and continuously and it is expected to penetrate rapidly with the next a few years. This deployment will cause the change of load composition rate affecting on power system planning and operations. Therefore, a new load model should be developed integrating with electric vehicle loads. In this paper, the load composition rate of residential sectors is analyzed considering the deployment of this mobility load such as electric vehicles and a new diffusion model is proposed based on the classification of the replacement patterns. Additionally, electric vehicle charging loads are basically modeled by some individual load experiments to develop new load models for smart place and some new conceptual power systems such as micro grids.
