  • This paper covers induced voltage in parallel telecommunication cable with underground power cable to be linked between substations. The simulation was carried out the induced voltage in telecommunication cable according to the transposition of power cables and fault location for various conditions. This study based on the EMTP/ATPDraw with actual underground cable systems while the power cables are in steady state and transient state.

  • 본 논문은 스마트그리드 환경에서 경제성 기반의 수요반응 효율을 얻기 위한 EMS 알고리즘 개발에 관한 것이다. EMS 시스템은 전력의 정확한 비용을 소비자에게 노출시킴으로써 전력 사용에 대한 소비자의 사용 패턴을 변화시키고 더 나아가 전력 자원을 효율적으로 배분하고자 한다. 경제성 수요반응은 전기요금의 시간대별 차등 책정을 특징으로 하며 개발된 EMS시스템은 RTP요금제를 바탕으로 실시간(RealTime), 양방향(Two-way), 상시(Economic)측면에서 전력회사와 소비자 모두에게 효율적인 인프라와 서비스를 제공하고자 개발되었다. 본 논문은 AMI기반 제주 수요반응 사업 과제로 개발된 EMS 시스템이며, 주택용(HEMS), 상가용(SMES), 빌딩용(BEMS)로 나누어 전력 소비자에 따른 EMS 알고리즘을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Conventional flame retardant cable using PVC or CR materials generate considerable amount of toxic and acidic gas (HCI etc.) together with excessive black smoke during a fire. The newly developed halogen free materials have dissolved the problem of halogen acid gases. This paer describes the development of this power cable insulation and sheath, using halogen free materals.

  • At present the XLPE insulated power Cables have installed until 154KV level in KOREA. Therefore, our company has developed 275KV XLPE cable as a means 345KV level-up of CV cable as well as exploitation of overseas markets. In this paper, the outline of design standards, manufacturing processes and test performance of 275KV CV cable are described.

  • In this paper we introduce electrical and mechanical properties of PPLP, an insulation system of Cellulose/Extruded Polypropylene/Cellulose Paper, and characteristics of 345KV O.F cable employing the PPLP. This cable shows dielectric loss less than 50% and has excellent impulse breakdown strength higher than 17%, respectively, compared with those of the conventional cables. Accordingly, a more compact cable with reduced thickness of the insulation layer, which has remarkable profits in economics, has been developed.

  • Silicone insulators have many advantages over porcelain insulators. Especially silicone insulators have good characteristics of impact hardness, surface insulation, ease of processing, mass productivity and don't have risk of bombardment and vandalism. Recently insulation part made by silicone are becoming widely used. In this paper we introduce the development of Sealing End for 132kV XLPE cable with silicone composite hollow insulator and the adoption of it to a actual transmission line in abroad.   • In recent the XLPE cable has been applied more widely because of its advantages, such as the low-cost and simple installation. For a prefabricated joint, its working time is short, its jointing procedures are simple, and its quality control is easy. Electrical performance targets of our developed 132kV cable accessories has been approved through the type test in accordance with IEC publication 840. This paper describes the developmental effort in terms of the design, structure and results of performance verification tests for 132kV XLPE cable system.

  • Globally, movements for an environmental preservation have been further extended in all the areas of industries. In the manufacturing area. environment-friendly properties for all the manufactured products are increasingly required by many national standards. For EHV oil-filled cables. Hard Alkylbenzen has been applied as an impregnated insulating oil. But as it flows into the soil during failures, such as oil leakage, the oil is not dissolved by microbes and then causes an environmental pollution. Recently some countries are increasingly requiring Soft Alkylbenzen which is dissolved by microbes. This paper describes the electrical and environmental properties of Soft Alkylbenzen. applied for a 230kV oil-filled cables at a Singapore's project.

  • 우리는 기존의 현장몰드방식의 TMJ(Tape Molded Joint)와 부품조립방식 의 PJ(Prefabricated Joint) 보다 조립시간과 숙련도가 덜 필요한 고무몰드접속함을 탄성 및 우수한 절연특성을 가진 silicone 고무를 사용하여 조립공정과 절연특성, 탄성특성, 계면특성, 열적 특성 등을 연구하여 개발에 성공하였다. 고무 몰드 접속함은 실리콘 재료의 우수한 탄성에 의해 동일 케이블의 다양한 size에 적용이 가능하다.

  • Since the first underground transmission line in Korea was installed in 1974, the two types of underground transmission power cables, oil-filled and XLPE, have been applied for underground transmission lines. As the manufacturing technologies of XLPE cable have been improved and the simplicity of installation and maintenance has been focused on, the installations of XLPE cables have been largely increased since the mid 1990's. For the first time, in Korea, the 345kV XLPE cable was installed at Pyungtaek thermal power plant in 2003, February. So, this paper introduces the project profile, the design of cable and its accessory, the cable system design, installation and site test.
