  • The P&S(Power Plant Simulation System) is a powerful simulation software system for the dynamic behavior of power plants. The P&S module libraries provide plant models with higher flexibility of dynamic simulations for process and control designs. The P&S software was effectively available for PCS based on Linux and modem workstations based on Unix. The P&S was applied for simulating the dynamic behaviors of the SOVR(Supercritical Once-Through Variable Pressure Reheater) according to the operations such as stan-up, shutdown, load following, load change and trip in order to obtain an optimal operation procedure for Unit 5/6 of Taeahn fossil power plant consisted of SOVRs and steam turbines.

  • the satellite tracking problem of Antenna with two axis of elevation angle and azimuth one is described in this paper. The proposed control procedures for stabilization of nonlinear pedestal unit are consists of a off-line modeling identified by neural network and a on-line neural network controller combined with a reference model using the least square method. the simulation results are introduced and compared to a conventional PID controller.

  • As the railway becomes higher, the reliable stability and riding comfort of higher railway are required. To improve the riding comfort of high-speed trains, it is very helpful to use active suspension system for railway. In Japan, the high-speed train, Shinkansen has adopted semi-active suspension system and now it is running in the main trunk. In this paper, the authors introduce several technical trends of vibration control methods of Japanese Shinkansen. And the installation of semi-active suspension to HSR 350x and the test result of test run on the Kyoung-Bu high speed ling are also explained. After development of HSR 350x, new R&D national project of high speed train is progressed by Ministry of Land, Transport, and Maritime Affairs. This project is the development of Electric Multiple Unit of high speed train with 400km/h of maximum test speed. These result would be helpful to progress next generation high speed project.

  • There are many EMU lines in korea. But only one type has been applied to passenger side door. This type is so called "Pocket sliding type". This type has some week points. To begin with, it is not good for decreasing the noisy form the outside of carbody. And the second time, if some obstacles are put between sliding door, only driver can operate re-open door switch manually ill driver's cab. This type is so dangerous for passengers. So many people want to the new door type that have no defect. KRRI joined forces with ANT corporation for pneumatic plug door system. This type will be good for decreasing the noisy, passenger′s safe. The project was started at the last year on November and will be finished on June, this year In this paper, we will deal with the role of cylinder, planetary gear, door control unit, dynamic mechanism, and the report of FEM, type test. This paper will contribute to tile electric motor control plug door system.

주행거리 연장형 청소용 전기자동차에 장착된 상용 디젤엔진의 토크제어를 위한 통신 방안 (Communication Method for Torque Control of Commercial Diesel Engine in Range-Extended Electric Trash Truck)

  • 본 논문은 주행거리 연장형 전기자동차에서 발전량을 결정하는 차량 제어기와 이를 수행하는 엔진 제어기 간 토크 명령을 전달하기 위한 새로운 통신방법을 설명한 것이다. 일반적으로 자동차는 CAN 통신방식을 사용하지만, 이 경우 기존 엔진 제어기의 하드웨어 및 소프프웨어를 수정해야만 한다. 이러한 이유로 중소 자동차 개조업체는 발전용 엔진이 탑재된 주행거리 연장형 전기자동차에 대한 개발 및 개조 작업 시 CAN통신방식의 적용이 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구과정에서는 기존의 양산용 엔진 제어기를 주행거리 연장형 전기자동차에 적용하기 위한 핀-핀 통신방안를 제시하였다. 핀-핀 통신방안은 기존 양산용 엔진 제어기내에 탑재된 운전자요구토크 제어 맵을 엔진의 목표속도와 목표토크에 따른 가상 엑셀 열림량으로 변환하는 과정과 이를 기존 양산 엔진제어기가 인식 할 수 있도록 해당 엑셀페달 전압신호로 변환하는 과정으로 구성된다. 가상 엑셀 열림량은 오프라인 환경에서 역 변환 과정을 통하여 차량 최상위제어기에 제어 맵 형태로 탑재되고, 엔진 발전요구량과 엔진 최적 운전점 알고리즘을 통하여 결정된다. 이렇게 결정된 가상엑셀 열림량은 DA신호 변환기를 통하여 기존 엔진제어기가 인식할 수 있는 전압신호로 최종적으로 변환된다. 엔진토크 전달을 위한 이러한 알고리즘과 신호변환 회로는 차량제어기(VCU)에 탑재되어 엔진목표토크에 따른 가상엑셀페달 열림량 변환과정과 신호변환기를 이용한 가상 엑셀페달 전압신호에 대한 통신시험을 실시하여 이러한 통신방식의 실현 가능성을 입증하였다.

Oxalate법으로 합성한 LSCF의 pH 변화에 따른 공기극 특성 (Properties of Synthesis LSCF Cathode with pH Control using Oxalate Method)

  • Solid oxide fuel cells are clean, pollution-free technology for the electrochemical generation of electricity at high efficiency. Specially, the polarization resistance between electrolyte and electrode of SOFC unit cell is of importance, because it is desirable to develop SOFC operating at intermediate temperature below $800^{\circ}C$. The LSCF cathode prepared using modified oxalate method was investigated with different electrolyte. A precursor was prepared with oxalic acid, ethanol and $NH_4OH$ solution. The LSCF precursor was prepared at $80^{\circ}C$, and pH control was 2, 6, 8, 9 and 10. The precursor powder was calcined at $800^{\circ}C$, $1000^{\circ}C$ and $1200^{\circ}C$ for 4hrs. The crystal of LSCF powders show single phase at pH 2, 6, 8 and 9, and the average particle size was about $3{\mu}m$. The LSCF cathode with heat treatment at $1200^{\circ}C$ showed a plot of electric conductivity versus temperature. Unit cell prepared from the LSCF cathode, buffer layer between cathode and electrolyte and the LSGM, YSZ, ScSZ and CeSZ electrolyte. Also interface reaction between LSCF, buffer layer and electrolyte were measured by EPMA and the polarization resistance for unit cell with cycle measure using a Solatron 1260 analyzer.

  • Described in this paper is an optimal driving control algorithm which focused on the improvement of fuel economy and the minimization of pollutant emissions in the parallel type hybrid drivertrain system for transit bus. For the energy balance among components such as engine, induction machine and buttery, the algorithm for power split ration determine is proposed. When it is implemented in the hybrid electric control unit(HECU) , using the sub-optimal method and the approximate technique , it is possible to save the memory , to shorten the calculation time, and to achieve the efficient driving actually. A Shift strategy for automated manual transmission is the other side of the driving control algorithm. It enables to select the optimal gear by using several shift maps which were predefined from the proposed method in this paper, As a results of driving simulation, it is proved that these algorithms make the hybrid drivetrain system to reduce fuel consumption and emissions considerably and to have the ability to the efficient use of battery.

  • This paper presents a dynamic equivalencing method in large electric power system for stability analysis. This method of modeling simplified equivalents for parts of the network outside the study area is to evaluate the stability of a study area modeled in detail. Generators are closely coupled in an electrical sense tend to swing together in groups during disturbances, and this behavior can be exploited to reduce the size of the power system model. The characteristics of generators swing together are referred to as coherency Coherency groups whose generators state trajectory are similar to the other generators state trajectory in the same coherency group by a certain disturbance. In this paper, procedures for forming dynamic equivalents of control devices of coherency-based generating units are proposed and the aggregation of the control devices such as excitation system and governor-turbine system is accomplished by this method. This method can deal with the aggregation of the same type of control devices and combination of hydro and steam unit or the many types of excitation systems. etc. This method is shown to be efficient in reducing the number of control device of generating units with small error in the study group by result of case study presented latter part of this paper.

  • A forklift is an industrial vehicle that lifts or transports heavy objects using a hydraulically operated fork, and is equipped with an automatic transmission for the convenience of repetitive transportation, loading, and unloading work. The Transmission Control Unit (TCU) is a key component in charge of the shift control function of an automatic transmission. It consists of an electric circuit with an input/output signal interface function and firmware running on a microcontroller. To develop TCU firmware, the development process of shifting algorithm design, firmware programming, verification test, and performance improvement must be repeated. A simulator is a device that simulates a mechanical system having dynamic characteristics in real time and simulates various sensor signals installed in the system. The embedded transmission simulator is a simulator that is embedded in the TCU firmware. information related to the mechanical system that is necessary for TCU normal operation. In this study, an embedded transmission simulator applied to the originally developed forklift TCU firmware was designed and used to verify various forklift shift control algorithms.

5G 광중계기 구동을 위한 디지털 송수신 유닛 설계 (Development of Digital Transceiver Unit for 5G Optical Repeater)

  • 본 논문에서는 5세대 이동통신 네트워크 서비스의 커버리지를 확장하고, 빌딩내에서의 안정적인 무선 네트워크 연결해 주는 5G 광중계기의 인빌딩용 디지털 송수신 유닛 설계를 제안한다. 제안된 5G 광중계기 구동을 위한 디지털 송수신 유닛은 신호처리부, RF 송수신부, 광입출력부, 클록발생부 등의 4개 블록으로 구성된다. 신호처리부는 CPRI 인터페이스의 기본 동작과 4채널 안테나 신호의 조합 및 외부에서의 제어 명령에 대한 응답 등 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 또, JESD204B 인터페이스로 고품질의 IQ 데이터를 송수신 한다. 파워 앰프를 보호하기 위해 CFR, DPD 블록이 동작한다. RF 송수신부는 안테나로부터 수신된 RF 신호를 AD 변환하여 JESD204B 인터페이스로 신호처리부에 전달되고, 신호처리부에서 JESD204B 인터페이스로 전달된 디지털 신호를 DA 변환하여 안테나로 RF 신호를 송신한다. 광입출력부는 전기신호를 광신호로 변환하여 송신하고, 광신호를 전기신호로 변환하여 수신한다. 클록발생부는 광입출력부의 CPRI 인터페이스에서 공급되는 동기 클록의 지터(Jitter)를 억제하고, 신호처리부와 RF 송수신부에 안정적인 동기 클록을 공급한다. CPRI 연결전에는 로컬 클록을 공급하여 CPRI 연결 준비 상태로 동작한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 5G 광중계기 구동을 위한 디지털 송수신 유닛의 정확성을 평가하기 위해서 Xilinx 사의 MPSoC 계열의 XCZU9CG-2FFVC900I를 사용하였고 설계 툴은 Vivado 2018.3을 사용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 5G 광중계기 디지털 송수신 유닛이 ADC로 입력되는 5G RF 신호를 디지털로 변환하여 CPRI를 통해 JIG로 전달하는 Uplink 동작과 JIG로부터 CPRI를 통해 전달받은 Downlink 데이터 신호를 DAC로 출력하는 기능과 성능을 평가하였다. 실험결과는 평탄도, Return Loss, Channel Power, ACLR, EVM, Frequency Error 등이 목표로 한 설정 값 이상의 성능이 나타남을 확인 할 수 있었다.
