Eigen-background와 Clustering을 이용한 객체 검출 시스템 (An Object Detection System using Eigen-background and Clustering)

  • 객체 검출은 영상에서 객체의 식별, 위치정보, 상황인식 등을 위해서 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 강인한 객체 검출 시스템을 제안한다. Principal Component Analysis (PCA)를 이용하여 배경 영상에서 수집한 학습데이터를 주성분으로 선형변환 한다. 객체와 배경에 대하여 판별 능력이 우수한 주성분을 선별하여 Eigen-background를 구성한다. Fuzzy-C-Means (FCM)은 Eigen-background의 정보를 입력 차원으로 하여 영상을 Clustering하고 객체와 배경으로 분류한다. 고정된 카메라에서 배경변화에 적용 가능한 시스템을 구현하기 위해 동일한 시점에서 움직이는 객체가 포함된 영상을 학습데이터로 사용하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 인위적인 한 프레임을 배경으로 정의하여 사용하는 과정이 필요 없이 입력 영상에서 잡음이 제거된 객체와 배경으로 분류하였고, 또한 객체의 부분적인 움직임도 효과적으로 검출하였다.

  • This paper presents a new method for first and second order eigen-sensitivity analysis of system matrix in augmented form. Eigen-sensitivity analysis provides invaluable informations in power system planning and operation. However, conventional eigen-sensitivity analysis methods, which need all the eigenvalues and eigenvectors, can not be applicable to large scale power systems due to large computer memory and computing time required. In the proposed method, all sensitivity computations for a mode are carried out using the augmented system matrix and its own eigenvalue and right & left eigenvectors. In other words sensitivity analysis for a mode does not need informations on the other eigenvalues and eigenvectors and sparsity technique can be fully utilized. Thus compuations can be done very efficiently with moderate computer memory and computing time even for large power systems. The proposed algorithm is tested for one machine infinite bus system.

Simultaneous identification of stiffness and damping based on derivatives of eigen-parameters

  • A method based on derivatives of eigen-parameters is presented for damage detection in discrete systems with dampers. The damage is simulated by decrease on the stiffness coefficient and increase of the damping coefficient. In the forward analysis, the derivatives of eigen-parameters are derived for the discrete system. In the inverse analysis, a derivative of eigen-parameters based model updating approach is used to identify damages in frequency domain. Two numerical examples are investigated to illustrate efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method. Studies in this paper indicate that the proposed method is efficient and robust for both single and multiple damages and is insensitive to measurement noise. And satisfactory identified results can be obtained from few numbers of iterations.

  • 본 논문에서는 신호의 반 파장 간격으로 안테나 소자를 배치한 빔형성 시스템에서 다이버시티 이득을 얻을 수 있는 빔형성 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 수신 신호 공간을 스팬(span)하는 고유 벡터들을 이용하여 빔형성 한다. 본 논문에서는 채널 추정을 위한 최적의 고유 공간 차수를 정하기 위한 기준도 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘을 적용한 빔형성 시스템은 기존의 빔형성 시스템과는 달리 각 퍼짐이 증가함에 따라 다이버시티 이득을 얻어 그 성능이 개선된다. 본 논문은 제안된 알고리즘의 설명과 함께 다양한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통한 제안 알고리즘의 성능 분석을 제공한다.

  • The Eigen analysis in large power system provides much useful information that is not got in nose curve. The branch participation factor is not quantitative information and is an indirect method calculating incremental change in branch reactive loss. But the Eigen sensitivity analysis to each mode is direct and provides of quantitative information but this method because of needing much time is used in large power system. In this paper the Hessenberg method is used to obtaining dominant eignvalues and corresponding eigenvectors of Jacobian matrix. Ranking the critical contingencies is done by computing the Eigen sensitivity of each dominant eignvalues for changes of each line. The proposed algorithm is tested on the New England 30-bus system and KEPCO system in the year of 2000, which comprises of 791-bus and 2500-branches.

Analysis of CDMA System Performance Using Weighted Value of Array Antenna

  • Interference occurs by signals received from directions that were different from the signals of the users in a mobile communication system. Various studies have been undertaken, including diversity, equalizer, etc., in order to reduce interference. In this study, the weighted value of the array antenna was obtained to improve signal-to-noise ratio. The weighted value was obtained as an eigen value and an eigen vector by using the correlation coefficient of the signal. The weighted value obtained was then applied to the CDMA system to increase system performance and capacity. Both QPSK and OQPSK modulation systems were applied to analyze performance.

  • Design sensitivity analysis of Eigen Problem give systematic design improvement information for noise and vibration of a system. Based on reliable results form commercial FE code(UAI/NASTRAN), three computational procedures for design sensitivity analysis of eigen problem are suggested. Those methods are finite difference,design sensitivity analysis using external module and design sensitivity analysis running with NASTRAN. To verify the suggested methods, a numerical example is given and these results are compared with the results from UAI/NASTRAN eigen sensitivity option. We can conclude that design sensitivity coefficient of eigen proplems can be computed outside of the FE code as easy as inside of the FE code.

커플시스템의 모우드 분석 연구 (Mode Analysis of Coupled System)

  • The suggested coupled system was analyzed using FRF and mode analysis. The eigen-mode of FRF analysis is consistent with that of conventional FFT in spectrum. Also, three numerical responses of second order system, which are coupled, was obtained using the Runge-Kutta Gill method. The displacement, velocity and acceleration response were calculated for the numerical analysis of coupled system and the displacement response was used for the calculation of FRF of this system. Using the mixed response of 1st and 2nd mode in example, the FRF was analysed for the analysis of mixed mode coupled system. Also, its mode shape was acquired by solving the eigen problem of coupled system.

TEBS Technique with Using STBC for MISO Systems

  • This paper introduces the downlink Eigen-beamformer with Space-Time Block Code (STBC)[1,2] employed on the MISO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) systems. The proposed scheme is acquired both transmit diversity gain from STBC and beamforming gain from Eigen-beamformer. In general, it is well described that the diversity gain be maximized when channel parameters associated to fingers are mutually independent. Major role of utilizing Eigen-beamformer is to enforce channel parameters being uncorrelated. According to this, the proposed STBC combined with Eigen-beamformer on the downlink significantly improves its performance under the spatially correlated channel. Simulation results are accomplished under three distinct channels conditioned with varying the degree of their correlations. The result indicates that our proposed scheme is good performance in spatially correlated channel.

EGM96와 EIGEN-CG01C 모델에 의한 한반도 주변의 중력포텐셜 비교분석 (Gravity Potential Comparative Analysis around Korean Peninsula by EGM96 and EIGEN-CG01C Models)

  • 인공위성 측지학의 발달로 최근 들어 정밀도와 해상도가 높아진 중력포텐셜 모델들이 공개되었다. 근래에 가장 많이 사용되는 EGM96과 CHAMP, GRACE 등의 저고도 위성자료를 기반으로 하는 가장 최근의 EIGEN-CG01C 모델을 이용하여 한반도와 인근지역을 포함하는 $123^{\circ}{\sim}132^{\circ}$ E, $33^{\circ}{\sim}43^{\circ}$ N의 연구지역에서 지오이드와 중력이상을 계산하고, 비교 검토하였다. 두 모델은 지오이드와 중력이상에서 0.90이상의 매우 높은 상관관계를 가지고 있으나, Amplitude 분석에서 EIGEN-CG01C 모델이 고주파영역이 우세한 것으로 나타났다. 두 모델을 통해 계산된 중력이상에서 북한지역 및 황해 연안 일부에서 다소 차이를 보인다. Power spectrum 분석을 통하여 대규모 지구조나 지하자원 탐사에 유용하게 활용될 수 있는 잔여이상을 계산하였다.
