정수장에서 배출수 공정 자동화를 위한 초음파 다중빔 슬러지 농도계 개발 (Development of Ultrasonic Multi-Beam Sludge Meter For Effluent Facilities Automation)

  • 정수장, 하수처리장, 폐수처리장의 배출수 처리공정에서 고 농도의 슬러지 선별, 이송 및 약품 투입량 조절을 위한 기준으로 슬러지 농도계가 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 슬러지 농도계의 정도 향상과 문제점 개선을 통해 배출수 처리공정의 운영 효율화와 자동화 기반을 마련하고자 한다. 센서를 다중빔으로 설계 및 최소편차 선형평균 필터링을 적용하여 농도계의 정도 향상과 안정성을 실현하였으며, 부단수 방식의 센서 착탈 설계로 배출수 시설 운영중에도 유지관리가 가능토록 하였다. 이렇게 구현된 다중빔 방식 슬러지 농도계의 성능을 Pilot Plant를 통하여 다양하게 검증하였다.

제어로직 프로그램 개발을 통한 소독공정 자동운전에 관한 연구 (A Study of Disinfection Process Automation through Control Logic Program Development)

  • 본 연구는 수처리 주요공정의 소독공정에 대한 자동운전 구축현황과 목표주입율 결정시 체류시간동안 염소 소모량을 분석하고 활용하기 위한 기술을 연구하고 제시하는데 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 자동운전을 위한 시설물 구조 및 하부설비 설치현황을 조사하였으며, 현 시스템의 문제점을 분석하고 해결을 위한 자동운전 프로그램을 개발하여 적용하였으며 이에 따른 효과도 분석 제시하였다. 특히 시지연공정 및 다변수 공정제어에 적합한 모델예측제어 알고리즘을 적용하여 환경인자와 반응시간 등의 상관관계를 분석하고 최적 제어 입력값을 추론할 수 있도록 함으로써 안정적인 공정제어가 가능함을 모델평가를 통하여 확인하였다.

합병정화조 기술현황 및 전망 (Current Condition and Prospect of On-Site Domestic Wastewater Treatment Technologies)

  • Water quality in the public water course has been polluted more seriously than ever before due to the increase of the number and aremount of pollution sources such as domestic and industrial wastewater. For water quality conservation, the Korean government has been trying to construct sewage treatment facilities continually, of which treatment capacity reached to 11,452,400m$^{3}$/day in 1996. Night soil treatment facilites of m nationwide have the treatment capacity of 24,038m$^{3}$/day. But water quality has not been improved because the sewer systems were insufficient and the treatment efficiencies of sewage were not high, enough. For renovation of water quality, miscellaneous domestic wastewater must be treated because 27g BOD/day out of total 40g BOD/person-day come from miscellaneous wastewater, comparing to 13g BOD/day from night soil. However, sole treatment purifier treat only night soil from the flushing toilet. Therefore, it may be desirable to treat the miscellaneous domestic wastewater and the night soil from flushing toilet together by joint treatment purifier system as on-site domestic wastewater treatment technology. In Korea, the joint treatment purifier system, introduced in 1997, have the benefit as follows; i) good water poiluion control effect, ii ) good effect on river water flow, iii) water pollution control with sewage treatment facility, and iv) rapid pollution control effect, etc. In order to achieve a good effect as stated before, i ) strengthening effluent guideline including BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus, ii ) specializing operation to maintain high performance, and iii) supporting its construction and maintenance costs by the governmental level may be necessary: In addition, automation system of joint treatment purifier, technology for its package and compactness, and a new bio-media bio-filter with higher capacity should be further developed in agreement with a more stringent effluent guideline.

시설원예 배출 배액의 수질환경 평가 및 정화 부하량 산정 (The Water Quality and Purification Load Assessment of Drain Water of Facility Horticulture Areas)

  • Korea's protected horticulture is rapidly increasing in scale due to various advantages such as year-round harvesting, labor savings through automation and shortened culture period, and greater income generation. This study was conducted to investigate the impact of protected horticulture on water quality. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data contributing to improvements towards sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly design of protected horticulture complex. The average T-N and T-P loads from vinyl greenhouses were 286.55± 143.98 mg/L and 59.14±13.77 mg/L, respectively and those from glass greenhouses 380.68 ± 150.41 mg/L and 61.85±20.72 mg/L. The annual discharge of wastewater derived from the monthly discharge from the horticulture greenhouses were estimated at 2597 ton/ha, with the annual phosphorus load amounting to 155.3 kg/ha. The average T-N and T-P loads in the tested greenhouse effluents were in excess of 8.3- and 13.5-fold the standards for the Korean wastewater plant effluent. The waste nutrient solution discharged from a protected horticulture complex can cause water contamination. Therefore, there is a need to conduct follow-up research using a water purification system or a trench method to develop a eco-friendly protected horticulture complex for sustainable agriculture.
