While a lot of research has been done in the area of the B2C e-commerce, heavily on the Internet shopping, a study on the B2B e-commerce has not been improved enough to be competitive for its importance and practical use. We have studied to build an effective database, attempting to complement and further replace in the long term the off-line distribution channel which has yet to be fully evolve with respect to effectiveness and efficiency. For the building of the effective database, we have gathered information from the related institutions and characterized a fishery channel, and surveyed existing literatures and consumers for deriving factors affecting their purchase intentions and satisfactions. Based upon this survey we constructed the entity-relationship diagram(ERD) which possibly provided some perspectives for the future application. This study focuses on the improvement in the distributional efficiency not only minimizing the intra-organizational conflict and resistance but also maximizing the role function of each party of the organization.
The main purpose of this paper is to examine the aid effectiveness of ODA projects through a case of an e-Government ODA. The case at hand is the Mongolian National Data Center project, which was supported by Korea International Cooperation Agency in 2007~2009. In this paper, we analyze aid effectiveness through a case instead of a long-term macroeconomic analysis. By using OECD DAC guideline for performance evaluation of ODA project combined with PRM (Performance Reference Model) for evaluating e-Government, authors undertakes a post-implementation evaluation on the Mongolian NDC project. The result shows that the NDC project has been relevant and implemented effectively and efficiently given the political instability incurred by the election fraud in 2008. However, there have been problems as well. Provision of defected monitors was a critical problem while disagreement on the safety of the building was lasted for two more years to be settled. Some comments on the training program are also worth to hear to ameliorate similar projects. But more fundamental problems are found in impacts and sustainability areas. Low political status of ICTPA as a coordinating organization for ICT ODA and unstable job security of NDC are serious hurdles to increase effectiveness and efficiency of NDC. ICTPA has played very limited roles in coordinating government-wide ICT ODA projects because it lacks actual power and control over them. Other government organizations do not fully trust NDC as a reliable government data center due to low political status and lack of job security. Thus critical factors to affect the effectiveness and efficiency of e-Government ODA projects are political and organizational instead of economic.
The purpose of this study is to interpret how the long-term care evaluation system implements in the actual service settings with institutional isomorphism and decoupling based on new-institutional theory. This study conducted in-depth interview with employees engaged in 7 long term care service facilities. Directed qualitative content analysis was used to analyze the data. As a result, unlike the intention of the long-term care evaluation system to improve the efficiency of the organization by market competition, it found that organizations forcibly adapted a evaluation system to rely on government's resources and it results in isomorphism phenomena which is similar between organizations. This results confirmed that the evaluation system has implemented in the direction of enhancing the government's role to standardize and institutionalize the long-term care service rather than improving the efficiency of the organization by market competition. This study also partially found the phenomenon of decoupling between organizational formal structure accompanied by isomorphism and real behaviors. These results suggest that it is required to improve government's evaluation indicators on the issue of inefficiency caused by dual structure of organizations. In addition, this study proposes that government's evaluation index which is reflected the characteristics of care service is necessary for operating.
This is an experimental study which is designed to identify the joint relationship between communication density and centrality as independent factors to team performance, discovering how they would jointly affect work team performance. Specially different from existing studies, separating team performance into team efficiency and team effectiveness, we identified differential influences to the two independent factors. Findings suggest a competing relationship between communication density and centrality. A framework was proposed to help managers understand the joint effect of density and centrality on performance. Work team has high communication density and low centrality is "Innovating", which is likely to have a great extent of ideas, knowledge and information sharing, and reach high effectiveness. Team with high centrality and low density is characterized as "centralized". Such communication structure may reduce diversity of perspectives and accelerate team decision making. When both density and centrality are low, the team is "Autonomous". To increase external validity, other factors such as leadership, organizational climate influencing on team performance should be reflected in the future research.
Information sharing is one of the key factors enhancing government efficiency and public convenience. However, critics argue that Korean government is now facing various kinds of barriers such as insufficient collaboration among agencies, inappropriate statutes, and technical problems. Thus, this study aims to develop policy alternatives that help resolve the existing problems suggested above. In order to achieve research objectives, this study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods as ways to investigate different dimensions of information sharing in government. Both survey and interview include six dimensions such as organization, technology, culture, management, policy and law. The results show that Korean government needs to implement following alternatives; developing its own database that helps support government decision making, changing organizational culture, continuous extension in terms of the number of object information and affiliated agency, and developing a statute dealing with government information sharing.

The purpose of this descriptive, correlational study was to identify, describe the patterns of nursing unit culture, nursing performance, job satisfaction and turnover intention in the hospital setting, and to analyze the relationships between nursing unit culture, nursing performance, job satisfaction and turnover intention among the characteristic of the subjects The subject consisted of 223 nurses who were employed in medical & surgical units of 3 different University hospitals in Seoul. Data collection was done in November, 1996 by means of questionnaire. The instruments used for this study were the questionnaire based on the Nursing unit cultural assessment tool developed by Coeling(1993), Nursing performance scale used by Yoon(1991), Job satisfaction scale developed by Slavitt, et al.(1978) and Turnover intention scale used by Lee(1995). The data were analyzed by percentage distribution. Pearson correlation coefficient and ANOVA. The summarized results were as follows: 1. There was significant differences in the nursing unit culture between individual cultural behavior and group cultural behavior. 2. There was positive correlation between nursing unit culture, nursing performance and job satisfaction. 3. There was negative correlation between nursing unit culture and turnover intention. 4. There was significant difference in nursing performance efficiency according to the age, educational level, professional carrier in the nursing unit, in the hospital. 5. There was significant difference in turnover intention according to the age, educational level. According to these results, the following implications can be made ; 1. It needs to study on the nursing unit culture in other size hospitals and compare them to these results. 2. It is necessary to assess nursing unit culture and endeaveor good climate for the nursing organizational outcomes and prepare the training course of leadership of nurse manager. 3. In nursing administration, there should be an emphasis on assessment of staff nurses' cultural behavior in case of nurses' orientation, allocation, recruitment, continuning education, so that staff nurses' performance and job satisfaction will be increased and trunover intention will be decreased.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the implementation and the performance of the eSCM in internet shopping malls, and to suggest collaborated strategy for internet shopping malls. We performed the surveys of suppliers for 3 fashion-specialized internet shopping malls and 3 general internet shopping mall. Additional surveys was performed by surveying the shopping mall merchandisers to research the differences of understandings on the performance of the eSCM between shopping malls and their suppliers. Total 143 questionnaries were distributed and collected from January 23 to February 28, 2006 and analyzed by SPSS 10.0. The results are as follows; 1) the efficiency of eSCM is related the factors of partnership and information, and among the subordinated factors the understanding and support of the top management, good communications, product and operating information sharing were find out to be significant. 2) The effectiveness of eSCM is influenced by the organizational and partnership factor. As the subordinated factors, the understanding and supports of the top management, the participations of members, good communications, good relationship and supports, and the technology level of eSCM were identified as significant. 3) Examining the differences of understandings on the performance of eSCM between the suppliers and the shopping mall merchandisers, the suppliers and the merchandisers show different opinions on the operating efficiency, and the customer service.

Method or work type improvement is needed in relation to reducing cost and increasing efficiency by ensuring construction quality and reducing labor in the form work process. This would have a great influence on the entire construction process, and make the process of adopting materials and methods more rational and economic. Hence, this study aimed to develop a Synthetic Resins Euroform that could improve durability, water-proofing, sophistication, and organizational unity through the use of injection modeling. Accordingly, this paper first investigated various performance requirements and necessary techniques, and then verified feasibility by evaluating the physical safety and technical validity when it is applied to construction field. In addition, this study evaluated the constructability, safety performance, environmental performance, and systemic excellence in terms of maintaining convenience of Synthetic Resins Euroform. Moreover, to verify feasibility in the construction field, this study analyzed and evaluated the maximum stress by measuring the load and deformation of the space of the horizontal furring, which is attached to Euroform as an armature.
This paper reports the project of arranging archives of Administrative Headquarters of the Jogye Order. It illustrates the whole process of preliminary survey, arrangement, appraisal and description of the archives. One of the distinctive features of the project lies in its focus on practical considerations. In other words, it has avoided blindly following theoretical recommendations made by previous efforts. First step of the project has been to review the current state of the archives through preliminary survey as well as analysis of related regulations. Second step has followed to establish actual process of classifying, appraising, describing, filing and designing storage facility management as well as a computerized archival management system. In this process, every concern has been given to prevent records and archives from physical damage and to ensure their intellectual order kept so that archival information could be re-constructed and usability and efficiency of the records could be secured. Major contributions made by the project can be found in that it has reviewed the volume of administrative archives created and held by Jogye Order and improved the overall efficiency of as well as information sharing among personnel at the Headquarter. The most notable accomplishment could be, however, found in that the project has helped the personnel to rediscover their own history from their records, rather than from their memory. From the theoretical perspective of archival science, the meaning of the project can also be found in that it has provided with the starting point toward establishing organizing methodology for organizational archives including religious archives. Arranging archives of an organization requires archivists to respect theories and principles, but at the same time, adequate attention should be paid to reflect idiosyncratic characteristics of the organization. General methods applicable to a wider range of archives could be derived from the very endeavor. Though impossible in a short period of time, it could be accomplished by accumulating theoretical and practical knowledge and experience.

As an exploratory attempt, this study examines the patterns of global R&D activities of industrial firms, focusing on the management of overseas R&D centers in terms of their location, primary missions, management style, organizational structure and communication and global human resource management system Based on a review of existing studies mainly undertaken in advanced countries and cases of foreign MNCs, several hypothetical relationships are postulated : 1) There appears a strong relationship between the purpose and location of R&D activities : 2) Different levels of global management and technological capability lead to different types of overseas R&D organizations : 3) The relationship between autonomy of overseas R&D organizations and their R&D performance will be moderated by organization size, development time pressure, and a need for internal efficiency : 4) Frequent communication between the headquarter and overseas R&D organizations will increase R&D performance 5) Mutual exchange of R&D professionals between the headquarter and overseas R&D organizations will be positively related with R&B performance. In addiction, this study explores the current state of global R&D activities of selective firms in Korea, based on ie-depth interviews, and analyzes the sources of problems in their global R&D management. Finally, theoretical and managerial implications of this study are discussed and future research directions are proposed.
