Purpose : This study was conducted to compare two non-face-to-face exercise interventions depending on whether mobile applications and wearable exercise aids are used to find out which interventions are more effective in improving senile sarcopenia. Ultimately, it was conducted to provide basic data for developing non-face-to-face intervention methods to improve sarcopenia. Method : In this study, 18 elderly sarcopenia and possible sarcopenia aged 65 or older were randomly assigned to the digital and self-exercise intervention groups. The digital exercise intervention group performed eight exercise programs with mobile applications and wearable exercise aids to record and manage the elderly performing the programs in real time. And the self-exercise intervention group performed the same program on its own as implemented in the digital exercise group. The intervention was applied for 8 weeks, and before and after the intervention, sarcopenia evaluation and physical function evaluation were performed. Results : In the digital exercise intervention group, arm muscle mass, skeletal muscle index, SPPB, 5TSTS, and BBS were improved, and in the self-exercise intervention group, grip strength, SPPB, 5TSTS, and BBS were improved. Conclusion : It was confirmed that both groups are effective in improving physical performance and physical function, the digital exercise intervention is effective in improving muscle mass and self-exercise intervention is effective in improving muscle strength. Therefore, this study proposes to apply intervention methods separately according to the indicators to improve and prevent sarcopenia, and also simplify the instructions of applications used to improve sarcopenia and to create an environment where users can be trained regularly on how to use it. And, In the future, studies for the development of devices to be designed to help non-face-to-face exercise interventions or studies on the differences between face-to-face and non-face-to-face exercise interventions should be conducted in terms of the effect of improving sarcopenia.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to describe the Progressive Intervention strategy applied ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health) Tool about Gait for TBI(Traumatic Brain Injury) patient. Methods : The data was collected by TBI patient. We applied the progressive Intervention strategy applied ICF Tool to TBI patient. Parameters of result were collected for using the Berg balance scale, TETRAX, Timed up and go test, Sit to stand test and ICF Evaluation Display Results : Significant differences were observed the TBI patient for Berg balance scale, TETRAX, Timed up and go test, Sit to stand test and ICF Evaluation. TBI patient improved all test. Conclusion : Progressive Intervention strategy applied ICF Tool is very useful and effective. It is effective in clinical practice.
The reference study was performed to investigate the nursing importance which was based a theoretical background related to horticultural therapy and to examine the possibility which horticultural therapy was applicable as a nursing intervention through analysis on a preceding study. The research subjects related to the areas of horticultural therapy which related as a nursing intervention, were psychological, physical, environmental, and psycho-social aspects. It is judged that the horticultural therapy is effective in treating depression, emotional disruption or anxiety. It seems to be also effective in increasing the muscular tension and, thereby, expanding the scope of joint movements. Such theories show that horticultural therapy may be a good alternative nursing means. Plants act to create a pleasant interior atmosphere by generating anion, controlling the temperature and humidity and purifying the air, and therefore, the horticultural therapy may be applied to clinic or environmental therapy. When horticultural therapy is used as a nursing intervention, patients' sociopsychological needs may be fulfilled. It has been found that horticultural therapy is instrumental in treating perceptive or emotional disruption, depression, loss of self-respect, disrupted everyday activities and social behaviors. In particular, horticultural therapy seems to be effective in managing chronic patients' crisis or improving life quality. Intervention method applied on a preceding study was activity therapy and scene therapy in the horticultural therapy The above findings suggest that the pro-environmental horticultural therapy is useful as a new paradigm of nursing or holistic nursing conducive to improvement of health. So, it is desirable to prove its effects by applying it in the clinic. In order to apply horticultural therapy as a nursing intervention, it will be necessary to educate nurses on principles and methods of horticultural therapy and encourage them to apply it in nursing and clinics. Moreover, it may well be necessary to develop landscape therapy as nursing intervention as well as a variety of horticultural therapy programs befitting the clinic conditions. On the other hand, we need to provide for some scientific ground for horticultural therapy through continued studies. In this regard, this study which focuses on patients' health improvement through change of environment. may well provide for a framework for such studies.
This study was aimed at clarifying the effects of sibling-involved .language intervention in children with language disorders. Ten subjects were selected and assigned into two groups (language intervention group with sibling-involvement, and language intervention without sibling-involvement). Group 1 consisted of 5 children with language disorders. Group 2 consisted of 5 children with language disorders without sibling-involvement. To investigate the language and communication ability, Picture Vocabulary Test and the subjects's spontaneous speech sample were analyzed. To compare pre-treatment with post-treatment between two the groups, repeated-measures ANOVA and t-test were used. The results were as follows; First, the language intervention with sibling-involvement was not effective compared to without sibling-involvement in improving the picture vocabulary ability of children with language disorders. There was a significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment in the picture vocabulary ability of the two .groups. However, there was no significant difference in the post-treatment between the two groups. Second, the language intervention with sibling-involvement was more effective compared to without sibling-involvement in improving the semantic aspects of language of children with language disorders. There was a significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment in the number of semantic relations between the two groups in that group 1 showed a higher improvement than group 2. Third, the language intervention with sibling involvement was more effective in improving pragmatic aspects of language of children with language disorders. There was a significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment in the number of communicative intentions of the two groups. And there was a significant difference in the post-treatment between the groups in that group 1 showed a higher improvement than group 2.

Purpose : Along with the rapid development of digital technology, the application of digital healthcare in the medical field is also increasing. According to many experts, increasing the amount of exercise and physical activity is a helpful way to prevent and manage physical problems in modern society. However, a lack of exercise, which is of the lifestyle of modern people, leads to the development of various diseases. This study aimed to examine the effects of digital exercise intervention using artificial intelligence (AI) on the physical abilities of adults whether digital exercise intervention can be a reliable and effective therapeutic option for musculoskeletal disorders in real-world clinical settings. Methods : In this study, exercise was conducted using a digital application to investigate the effects of an AI-based digital exercise intervention on the physical abilities of adults. A total of 13 adults were evaluated, and their physical abilities before and after the exercise intervention were compared. Hand-grip strength, functional leg muscle strength, dynamic balance, and quadriceps muscle strength were assessed. Exercise was performed using a digital application and in a non-face-to-face manner. AI identified the exercise status of each participant and adjusted the exercise difficulty level accordingly. The exercised daily for 4 weeks. Results : A total of 12 participants were analyzed for the final results. Significant improvements were observed in hand-grip strength, functional leg muscle strength (evaluated using the stand-up test), dynamic balance, and straight-gait ability (p<.05), indicating an increase in the overall muscular strength and physical function of the participants. Conclusions : Digital exercise intervention using AI is effective in improving physical abilities related to musculoskeletal function. It can be useful in clinical practice as an effective treatment option for patients with musculoskeletal disorders or muscle weakness.

The purpose of the study was to analyze trends of the previous interventions based studies in Korea to improve behavior problems of the children with EBD in order to suggest the research development and trends of future behavior intervention program as their behavior coping strategies. Therefore, it was analyzed 50 papers related to interventions of behaviors problems, published at the professional EBD journal from 2005 to 2009. The result suggested effective intervention factors, strategies, program & intervention trends, based on the results by factors. Previous researches in the study was comparatively analyzed by factors, such as the number, gender, age, and grade of subjects, and strategies, deliever, place of the intervention. The result of the study was analyzed the Previous researches based on the research subjects, research methods(subjects, research design, intervention delievers, intervention places, and intervention periods) and the type of intervention strategies included research procedures. The study results provided the foundation of the future intervention methods and the related program developments.
Purpose: This study was designed to determine whether General Coordinative Manipulation (GCM) Intervention Models have effects on the balanced restoration of asymmetrical muscles in the extremities. Methods: Fifty-nine healthy subjects (1st hypothesis: n=40, 2nd hypothesis: n=19) participated in studies using the two GCM intervention models. Subjects were studied 2 times a week for 3 weeks. Electromyography (EMG) was used to measure muscle activity, and measurements were performed before and after the application of the each intervention model. Results: Hypothesis 1: GCM Intervention, which coordinates flexion types of muscle contractions of the upper extremity and extension types of muscle contractions of the lower extremity (excluding self-care) is effective for treating shows the treatment in efficiency on more than two 2 of 3 muscles (vastus medialis, gastrocnemius medial, and deltoid middle) and the effects affects on more than 3 types of 4 body types (Vastus medialis, Gastrocnemius medial of Body type III, p<0.05). GCM body type was classified by the relative tilting of right and left scapulars and iliums into four groups. Hypothesis 2: GCM Intervention, which coordinates flexion types of muscle contractions of the lower extremity and extension types of muscle contractions of the upper extremity (excluding self-care) is effective for treating more than two 2 of 3 muscles (vastus medialis, gastrocnemius medial, and deltoid middle) and the effects affects on more than 2 types of 3 body types (p>0.05).
Many different intervention methods have been developed to resolve the problem of clients, but research studies evaluating the effectiveness of such practices can be overwhelming to social workers because of the conflicting results of them. In this study, meta-analysis was used to make sense of this research, offering the general effect size of social work practice. Meta-analysis can answer the question, "how effective is the intervention?" beyond the question, "is the intervention effective?". It can integrate the fragmentated results of research studies and provide the guidelines for best practice. Combining the results of the 16 research studies, this study computed the general effect size of social work interventions. The mean d index was. 6636 (95 percent confidence interval of .5355, .8018). Conversion to Cohen's $U_3$ statistics allows for the inference that three-fourths (74.7%) of the clients who participated in an intervention group did better than the average clients of non-intervention group. This means that social work interventions are practically helpful to seven of every 10 clients who experience them. In conclusion, this study recommended the usefulness of meta-analysis, which can provide the intervention strategies based on empirical research and guide the best approaches.
Surgical resection and reanastomosis has been the treatment of choice in patients with tracheobronchial stenosis. Recent development of bronchoscopic intervention has been replacing the role of surgery in these patients. After summarizing the upto date data of bronchoscopic intervention, the proper management of tracheobronchial stenosis will be presented. Bronchoscopic intervention would be much effective when performed under rigid bron- choscopy, due to the stable patients' condition and endoscopic view. The usual method of intervention includes ballooning, Nd-YAG laser resection, bougienation, mechanical airway dilatation, stenting and photodynamic therapy. Silicone stents are very effective in patients with tracheobronchial stenosis to maintain airway patency. Bronchoscopic intervention provided immediate symptomatic relief and improved lung function in most of patients. After airway stabilization, stents were removed successfully in 2/3 of the patients at a 12-18 months post-insertion. Less than 5% of patients eventually needs surgical management. Acute complications, including excessive bleeding, pneumothorax, and pneumomediastinum develops in less than 5% of patients but managed without mortality. Stent-related late complications, such as, migration, granuloma formation, mucostasis, and restenosis are relatively high but usually controlled by follow-up bronchoscopy. In conclusion, bronchoscopic intervention, including silicone stenting could be a useful and safe method for treating tracheobronchial stenosis.
The purpose of this study was to survey the intervention model, intervention settings, intervention time, factors influencing selection of intervention model, relationship between intervention model and areas which supporting center for special education based occupational therapist was using. Study data were provided by 46 therapy supporting service professionals through e-mail and analyzed. The findings indicated that first, the therapy supporting service professionals often employed a direct therapy(individual) focusing on performance component of child. Second, they believed that direct therapy is most effective in improving children's performance and raising awareness of the importance of occupational therapy. Third, when choose intervention model, they took into consideration the child's performance components deficits and mind of team chief. Fourth, no correlation between the application time and the perception of effectiveness of intervention model. Also didn't find correlation between applying time of intervention model and intervention area. When putting the various research result together, the model school-based occupational therapists using was similar to medical model. Therefore it is need a study to develop effective intervention model and apply it in school environment.
