아동을 대상으로 한 인터넷 영양교육 프로그램의 효과분석 (Effect-Evaluation of Nutritional Education Program Using Internet for School Children)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the effects on elementary school children of Internet-based nutrition education programs. The subjects consisted of 80 boys and girls (book-loaming group : 42, Internet-based teaming group : 38) in the 5th grade of elementary school. The results were as follows : The evaluation of Internet-based education programs by Internet-teaming group showed above average in all domains. As the favorite and wholesome menu chose‘nutrition kingdom’(52.6%) made of animation. The educational effect of this program was evaluated by comparing the methods of the Internet-learning group with those of the book-learning group. For effect-evaluation were measured the degree of nutrition knowledge and diversity score of dietary intake from before and after education. Before undertaking the program, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of their nutrition knowledge. However, the nutrition knowledge of the Internet-based teaming group after the program had increased significantly (p < 0.01) compared to the book-learning group. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the diversity of dietary intake before the start of the program, but upon its completion, the Internet-based learning group showed a significant increase compared to the book-loaming group (p < 0.05). This suggests that Internet-based educational programs could be effective in drawing the interest and boosting the concentration levels of schoolchildren. Interaction Effects of Arousal Level of Positive Ambient Emotion and Advertisement Type on Product Evaluation

  • The purpose of this study is to show that the effectiveness of utilitarian versus hedonic attributefocused advertisement on product evaluation depends on the arousal level of positive emotion, and to explore mediation effect of cognitive response to utilitarian attribute-focused advertisement and affective response to hedonic attribute-focused advertisement on the effectiveness of utilitarian versus hedonic attribute-focused advertisement. This research employs a 2 (arousal level: mild vs. elevated) × 2 (advertisement type: utilitarian vs. hedonic) between-subjects design, and 200 undergraduate students participate in the experiment, in which there are 50 students at each experimental group. The results of ANCOVA with positive emotion level as a covariate on advertised product evaluation show significant interaction effect of arousal level and advertisement type, and no effect of positive emotional level. Both of the mediation effects of the cognitive response and those of the affective response are significant. Participants under mild (elevated) arousal of positive emotion more positively evaluate the product in utilitarian (hedonic) attribute-focused advertisement. The positive effect of utilitarian (hedonic) attributefocused advertisement on product evaluation is partially mediated by cognitive (affective) response to the advertisement when consumers are under the mild (elevated) arousal of positive emotion. The results of this study show that advertisers should use utilitarian (hedonic) attribute-focused advertisement to consumers under the mild (elevated) arousal of ambient positive emotion, which should be searched by exploring what kind of event they have experienced.

An evaluation system for determining the stress redistribution of a steel cable-stayed bridge due to cable stress relaxation at various temperatures

  • This study developed an evaluation system to explore the effect of the environmental temperature on the stress redistribution produced by cable stress relaxation of structural members in a steel cable-stayed bridge. The generalized Maxwell model is used to estimate stress relaxation at different temperatures. The environmental temperature is represented using the thermal coefficients and temperature loads. The fmincon optimization function is used to determine the set of stress relaxation parameters at different temperatures for all cables. The ABAQUS software is employed to investigate the stress redistribution of the steel cable-stayed bridge caused by the cable stress relaxation and the environmental temperature. All of these steps are set up as an evaluation system to save time and ensure the accuracy of the study results. The developed evaluation system is then employed to investigate the effect of environmental temperature and cable type on stress redistribution. These studies' findings show that as environmental temperatures increased up to 40 ℃, the redistribution rate increased by up to 34.9% in some girders. The results also show that the cable type with low relaxation rates should be used in high environmental temperature areas to minimize the effect of cable stress relaxation.

체험환경교육 프로그램 보고서 평가틀의 개선 및 프로그램 평가 (A Revision of Evaluation Chart and an Evaluation of Site-Based Environmental Education Programs)

  • The purposes of this study are to revise an site-based environmental education(EE) Program evaluation chart and to evaluate site-based EE programs using the chart. For revising the evaluation chart, several elements in the former chart were changed, infused, deleted, integrated, or split. The points of some elements in the former chart were also changed. The revised chart consist of 38 elements in 6 areas: purpose and goal, teaching and learning plan, teaching and learning process, educational effect and programs evaluation, Program characteristic, and program operation. Using the revised chart, the researchers evaluated 159 site-based EE programs, funded by the Korean Ministry of Environment in 2002. The result indicated that the mark of 'teaching and learning plan' area is higher than other areas, while the mark of 'educational effect and programs evaluation' is the lowest. On the basis of evaluation, the researchers offered some recommendations for the Korean site-based EE programs.

The Effects of Labeling Information on the Consumers' Evaluation about Product Quality

  • Purpose: The purpose of the current study is to examine the effects of labeling information on the consumers' evaluation, with a focus on the effects of the three types of labeling information on the product quality. Research design, data and methodology: This study conducted a survey of the women respondents living in Gyeonggi province, Korea, during the time period of April 20th through May 30th, 2020. The sample data have been used to run regression analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis and factor analysis. Results: The empirical results are summarized as follows: 1) the labeling information on the brand image has a significantly positive effect on the consumers' evaluation about product's functional quality; 2) the labeling information on the product characteristics has a significantly positive effect on the consumers' evaluation about the expressed quality; and 3) the labeling information on the brand image has a significantly positive effect on the consumers' evaluation about the perceived quality. Conclusions: The conclusion is that the labeling information on product characteristics and the brand image is estimated to be statistically significant, therefore the Korean outdoor-wear industry are required to upgrade the information on the brand image and the product characteristics.

제품의 제시 순서가 제품 평가에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (An Effect of Presentation Order on Product Evaluation)

  • The purpose of this research is to verify whether presentation order has an effect on the evaluation of products. In the empirical study, three types of humidifier and those of toaster were used. These products have 6 different sets of combination (3! = 3${\times}$2${\times}$1), and each set was evaluated by 15 subjects who were provided with two sets of images from humidifier and toaster in empirical study (N=90). Subjects completed measures assessing the five aspects: attractiveness, convenience, hygiene, efficiency and durability of the product. Each of the dependent measures was assessed on Likert-scale ranging 1 to 7. The ratings to the five aspects were added individually. Three types of humidifier and those of toaster were divided into 3 classes in terms of 'class A' which consists of the highest rated product, 'class C' which consists of the lowest rated product, and 'class B' which consists of the rest. Two main findings were discovered: First, the presentation order of both class A and class C influences the product evaluation whereas that of class B does not. As class A was presented as the last one, the subjects evaluated it the most positive. In the case of class C, on the contrary, when it is presented as the first is the best for itself; Secondly, the result shows that presented C-B-A sequence combination has a greater effect on entire evaluation than all other conditions in this study.

  • Purpose This study examines firms at various industries to identify key organizational characteristics that positively drive the evaluation of cloud computing. In addition, this study tests the impact of one's evaluation has on the adoption and integration of cloud computing within their respective firm. Design/methodology/approach A total of 172 responses from various firms currently using cloud computing service were analyzed using the structural equation modeling(SEM). Findings Results show that organizational Needs(Mobility and Job Relevance), Perceived Factors(Relative Advantages and Cost Savings), and Organizational Readiness(Technical Knowledge, Financial Supports, and Managerial Supports) have a significant impact on cloud computing evaluation; and evaluation influences its adoption, and integration. However, two variables(IT Performance Gaps and Compatibility) have no significant impact on cloud computing evaluation. Finally, Evolutional Leadership has a significant moderating effect within the relationship among variables in the process of cloud computing implementation.

  • These information systems projects have unique characteristics such as technology sensitiveness, network effectiveness, embeddedness, and externality, these investment projects have been not taken care of in the field of administration and evaluation. Furthermore, it is not easy to evaluate the results of projects under the circumstances where the conditions for evaluation of budget, time, and data leave much to be desired. But the efficient monitoring and effective analysis of information systems are surely needed for beneficient results of investment in information systems. We propose an effect evaluation model on the basis of restriction to evaluate information systems.

스마트 미디어의 화면크기가 수용자의 평가와 프레즌스에 미치는 영향-TV다큐멘터리를 중심으로 (Effect of screen size of smart media on viewer's evaluation and presence -Focused on TV documentary)

  • 본 연구는 스마트 미디어를 통해 TV영상물을 시청할 때, 스마트 미디어의 화면 크기가 수용자들의 영상물 평가와 프레즌스에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴본 실험 연구이다. 본 연구를 위하여 대학생 피험자들에게 TV 자연다큐멘터리를 화면의 크기가 다른 스마트 미디어를 통해 시청하게 하고, 설문조사를 통해 프로그램에 대한 평가와 프레즌를 조사, 분석하였다. 설문조사의 결과를 분석한 결과, 화면이 큰 스마트 미디어를 통해 영상물을 시청한 피험자들이 화면이 작은 스마트 미디어를 통해 시청한 피험자들보다 프로그램의 영상미에 관해 더 훌륭하다는 평가를 하였으며, 프레즌스를 더 크게 느낀 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 화면의 크기가 프로그램의 작품성에 미치는 영향은 발견되지 않았다. 본 연구를 통해 스마트 미디어를 통한 TV영상물 시청에 있어서, 화면의 크기가 수용자들의 프로그램의 영상미에 관한 평가와 프레즌스에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인이라는 사실을 알 수 있었다.

부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 사회적 상호작용 불안에 미치는 영향 -자기낙담과 자기격려의 매개효과- (The effect of Fear of Negative Evaluation on Social Interaction Anxiety -Mediating Effects of Self-Encouragement and Self-Discouragement-)

  • 본 연구에서는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안의 관계에서 자기낙담, 자기격려가 매개역할을 하는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 광주, 전남에 소재한 3곳의 대학교에 재학 중인 학생 319명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시했다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석을 실시한 결과 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간에 유의미한 정적상관이 존재하였고 자기낙담은 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간에 정적상관이 존재하였다. 그러나 자기격려는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간에 부적상관이 존재하였다. 둘째, 회귀분석을 통해 매개 검증을 실시한 결과 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간의 관계에서 자기낙담은 완전매개효과를 보였고 자기격려는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 사회적 상호작용 불안 간의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 보였다. 본 연구 결과는 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움으로 인한 사회적 상호작용 불안을 경험하는 대학생들에게 상담자의 조력이나 안내를 통해 변화가능성이 있는 자기격려를 신장시켜줌으로써 사회적 상호작용 불안을 지닌 내담자를 보다 효율적으로 치유할 수 있음을 시사한다.
