  • This study examined the effects of the experience activities for kitchen garden cultivation on children's inquiry skills and dietary attitudes. To achieve this, an experiment was conducted on a total of 43 kindergarten children in a class of 4- and 5-year-olds, who were classified into an experimental group of 35 children (20 male children, 15 female children) and control group of 20 children (8 male children, 12 female children), in Daejeon Metropolitan City. This study showed that children's experience of kitchen garden cultivation helps improve their inquiry skills and dietary attitudes. The results proved their experience activities for kitchen garden cultivation to be useful for improving their inquiry skills and dietary attitudes. Consequently, their experience activities and inquiry learning of participant observation using a natural subject like kitchen garden cultivation can be encouraged to improve the awareness, which can improve their dietary attitudes as the responsibility of their family, and their distorted dietary habits and attitudes. In other words, these results highlight the interdisciplinary and educational usefulness in that their inquiry learning can expect a high educational effect.

  • The aims of this study were to examine the effects of a newborn care program (NCP) using an infant model. The subjects of this study were 48 mothers in the G city postpartum center. The NCP educational program was provided orally and via demonstration three times in two weeks. Pre and post questionnaires were given and the data was collected in July 2013 to September 2013. The findings suggest that knowledge of the newborn levels were increased significantly after the NCP (Mean=2.27 vs. 2.81, t=-7.049, p<.001). Parenting efficacy levels were increased significantly after the NCP (Mean=2.69 vs 2.89, t=-5.545, p<.001). The satisfaction with the education levels was 4.12. These findings suggest that providing a structured NCP educational program will be useful for adapting and obtaining a new mother role by improving the level of parenting efficacy and newborn care knowledge.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the spacial composition feature of Law School Library and define the feature in spacial planning of law school library. Through the analysis of characteristics in spacial composition, the basic spacial type of law school library will be proposed as a new law school library design. The spatial composition characteristics of Law school Library are as followings. (1) Entry spatial feature for the user accessibility (2) Reference room spatial planning for carrel user (3) Connectivity of educational & research space and reference room space. As the result of design proposal and analyzing the spacial feature, firstly entry common space of library should be planned with reference room space. Secondly, reading room should be linked to the entry level for the user. Lastly, core space should be planned as the vertical connectivity space for the intimately linkage of educational & research space and reference room. And separated accessibility should be considered for direct connection from outdoor space.

  • This study is intended to analyze flipped classroom learning activities, which have recently been spotlighted as a learner-centered teaching method in universities, from the perspective of cultural and historical activity theory. A survey and some participation observations were conducted with one professor and the students who participated in Educational Methods and Technology courses at A university. The components of the flipped classroom learning activities were analyzed based on the model of the activity system, and contradictions that appeared in the interactions between components were analyzed. Four implications were proposed for a more advanced flipped classroom learning activity system: the professor's and the learners' true identity recognition and role performance, strengthening the organic link between online and offline activities, support for alleviating the burden of teaching and learning preparation, and readjusting the system to support its smooth operation.

Therefore, this research focuses on the intention of franchising companies about the implementation of the CRM system. The information system used for managing franchising business is defined as Franchising Information Systems(FIS). In this research, the impact of technological level, educational level and utilization strategy of FIS on the ability of FIS use were analyzed. In addition, the impact of the ability of FIS use on the intention of franchising companies about the implementation of the CRM system was analyzed. The results from the research reveal that the utilization strategy of FIS does not affect the ability of FIS use, but technological level and educational level have an effect on the ability of FIS use. The ability of FIS use has influence on the intention of franchising companies about the implementation of the CRM system.

The researcher carried out research during 4 weeks, on 60 students taking the course of 'educational methods and educational technology' in K collage. As the result of this study, The reflection rubric frequency could not be significant difference in critical thinking, but could be significant difference in critical thinking content and collaboration argumentation. The reflection rubric could prevent learner form giving one side reasoning, considered both side opinion and grounds. Also the reflection rubric could trigger learner to construct collaborative knowledge building more strongly. This study showed that the reflection rubric have significant impacts on the argumentation collaboration learning in CSCA.

  • In this study, one for grades 1 Institute of Foundation Engineering Practice training to enable the creativity of problem-based learning as an alternative (PBL: Problem-Based Learning) training system was applied. The reason for the development of education systems engineering knowledge and practice skills related to the University no basis for first year students in the theory and practice based on the characteristics of the materials used and the tools to use, how to use the machine was to be accomplished. Hands-on training for existing structured learning plan driven by the faculty and students conducted hands-on training in the uniform limits on the ability of the practice has been shown. However, in this study on the basis of PBL learning materials, and the students themselves leading learner-centered practice problems derive and small unit exercises the ability to decide how to proceed on improving the educational process proposes. As a result of these studies, about 30% more than traditional hands-on training to improve the ability of learning respectively.

  • Personality traits have been considered as one of the stable predictors having significant correlations with creativity, although there is lack of study figuring out whether those relationship keeps constant across different educational stages. Exploratory research is conducted to investigate how the correlation between personality traits and creativity changes before adulthood using HEXACO personality measurement renowned for its efficient prediction and explanation of behavioral patterns. A total of 230 elementary, middle, and high school students who participated in Korea Destination ImagiNation completed two divergent thinking tasks(the Alternative Uses Tasks and the Remote Associates task) and HEXACO to measure their creativity and personality traits, respectively. The results showed there was a correlation between some of the personality traits and creativity, which differed by their educational stages.
