The importance of church school education is becoming more emphasized. To maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of church school education, frequent utilization of instructional media is more desirable. Systematic approach to media utilization will be developed by the extabilishment of church media center. The purpose of this study was to review the concept and components of church media center and to survey the current status and hope for the facility of church media center. For the survey the 400 questionnaries were distributed to pastors or missionaries who are responssible for education, or personnels in church media center in Korea. The churches that they belong to have above approximately 500 church members. Among the distributed questionnaires, the 202 were collected. The results of the survey are as follows. The printed media and the AV media were managed separately in most churches. Many church media center was shared the space with other programs. The space was allocated mainly for storage. Most respondants hoped that they have a variety of areas in their churches. Many church media center have no separation between the area for the adults and that for children. However, most respondants hoped the separation of that areas. Followings are suggestions for the plan of church media center facilities. The space only for the church media center should be allocated. Church media center should be located in the first floor of the building as soon as possible. (If there is elevators in the building, it may be located above first floor). If enough space for the church media center is allocated, the areas for the adults and children should be separated by partitions or separate room. The space should consist of various areas like circulation area, reading area, working area for the personnel, production area, and storing area.

본 연구는 교과용도서 내 영상물 수록이 활발해짐에 따라 영상물 선정의 기준과 관련된 정책을 마련하기 위하여 실행된 기초연구이다. 이를 위해 먼저 영상물이 어린이 및 청소년의 발달단계에 따른 정서적 영향에 대한 연구를 살펴보고 영상물과 학생의 정서 및 건강, 교육적 효과성 간의 관련성을 밝히고자 하였다. 이후 국내외 영상물 관련 심의 및 등급분류 기준을 폭넓게 검토함으로써 국가 수준의 정책 차원에서 영상물 등급제를 제도화 할 필요가 있음을 주장하였다. 위의 사항을 바탕으로 연구자들은 일곱 가지 제언을 하였다. 첫째, 교과용도서 편찬상의 유의점 및 편수자료 등에 영상물 선정 기준을 명시할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 교과용도서에 수록하기 위한 영상물의 정치적 중립성과 인권 측면을 검토하는 데 도움이 되는 지침이 필요하다. 셋째, 국내외 영상물 등급 제도의 범주 항목 및 연령별 준거를 참고하여 교과용도서 내 영상물 선정 지침을 상세화해야 한다. 넷째, 명백한 교육적 목적이 있을 경우에 한하여 영상물 등급 제도를 유연하게 적용할 수 있도록 한다. 다섯째, 교과용도서의 영상물 수록 지침 설정을 위한 제도적 지원이 필요하다. 여섯째, 교과용도서 개발 전 과정에 영상물 전문가 집단이 참여해야 한다. 일곱째, 교실 수업에서 교육용 영상물을 활용하여 자기주도적 학습을 할 수 있도록 교사 교육 프로그램을 병행해야 한다.

National support for use of IPTV in school has increased for the purpose of enhancing public education. As a convergence media, IPTV is expected to create a better and more successful learning experience with individualized content and advanced technology. While the potential benefits of IPTV have been discussed in different perspectives, we cannot fully benefit from new media without careful preparation and pedagogical consideration. Therefore, purpose of this study was to investigate educational use and applicability of IPTV in Korea. First, it redefines the concept and characteristics of IPTV in an educational context. Second, it identifies the main issues and considerations in practice. Lastly, the paper discusses guidelines for future tasks to facilitate the educational use of IPTV in terms of educational application, technological issues (e.g., LMS, set-top box), and content development.

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to identify the effects of providing an information service program by media on preoperative anxiety and postoperative educational satisfaction in patients with cataract surgery. Methods: For this study 52 patients who visited the ophthalmology clinic at P Hospital in B metropolitan city and who were scheduled to undergo one-day cataract surgery under local anesthesia were recruited. The 52 patients were assigned to the experimental group (25) or the control group (27). This study was conducted from August 27, 2015 to May 29, 2016. Results: Following the provision of cataract surgery related information service by media, the experimental group had a lower mean score for anxiety and higher mean score for educational satisfaction compared to the control group of patients. Conclusion: Results indicate that information service program by media "Goodbye Cataract" is useful educational materials for cataract patients in outpatient department and outpatient operating rooms.

A measurement of indoor microorganism using Reuter Centrifugal Air Sampler(RCS) was undertaken during October 1991-February 1999 and 6-Stage Cascade Air Sampler was undertaken during May 2001-June 2001 in Seoul. The results were as follows : 1. The average of total microorganism collected on the agar strip GK-A media were, in the order, subway station, hospital, underground shopping center, department store, book store, theater, sports facility, educational institution, office building in sites. 2. The average of staphylcocci collected on the agar strip GK-S media, in the order, were subway station, underground shopping center, hospital and department store, department store, theater, office building, sports facility and educational institution in sites. 3. The average of fungus collected on the agar strip GK-HS media, in the order, were Underground hospital, shopping center, theater, subway station, department store, book store, sports facility, educational institution, and office building in sites

본 연구는 애니메이션 제작을 통한 차세대 미디어 리터러시 교육 프로그램 개발을 목표로 그 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 선행 연구를 통한 미디어 리터러시 교육 목표 설정과 애니메이션 제작 과정을 연계하여 총 4단계의 교육 프로그램을 구성하였다. 첫 번째, 미디어 접근역량 강화를 위한 애니메이션 제작 도구 습득 단계. 두 번째, 창의적 제작 역량 강화를 위한 애니메이션 제작 실습 단계. 세 번째, 비판적 이해력 함양을 위한 결과물 발표 및 토론 단계. 네 번째, 사회적 소통 역량 강화를 위한 사회적 공유 단계이다. 교육 프로그램의 실제 적용을 위해 한서대학교 애니메이션 여름 캠프를 위한 교육 모형으로 제작되어 충청도 지역 79명의 중학생에게 교육되었다. 애니메이션 제작을 기반으로 한 교육과정을 통해 학생들의 비판적 분석 능력이 향상되었고 능동적인 참여자로 바뀌는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 향후 다양한 미디어를 활용한 교육 프로그램 개발의 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것이다.

급속하고 광범위하게 변화하는 경쟁적 환경 속에 있는 우리는 교육의 역할이 더욱 중대함을 인식하고 있다. 우리 사회가 처한 도전은 어떻게 정보를 다루고 그것을 어떻게 지식으로 전환하느냐이다. 이미 많은 학교에서 컴퓨터를 사용하여 학습효과를 향상하려고 노력하고 있다. 인터그레이티드 미디어(Integrated Media)의 교육활용은 학습내용을 새롭고 흥미롭게 제시하는 것 이외에도 종전의 미디어 시스템들이 가지지 못했던 학생이 직접 참여하는 방법으로 배우는 과정에 있어 시각, 청각, 그리고 시뮬레이션의 경험을 사용한 대화형 교육의 높은 유용성 즉, 상호작용적 특성을 가질 뿐만 아니라 대량의 정보를 저장, 통신, 관리, 처리하는 능력이 탁월하다는 효율성과 효과성을 든다. 본 연구는 인터그레이티드 미디어(Integrated Media)의 본질을 파악하고 아동들의 심리 및 인지능력을 검토하여 아동을 위한 교육결과물을 제작하는 데 있어 실질적인 문제제기를 하였으며, 그 해결방안으로써 부분적이기는 하나 그것의 교육효과와 효율성을 높이기 위한 디자인적인 관점과 내용면의 해결책을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 새로운 교육적 패러다임의 변화를 주고 있는 게임의 교육적인 활용방안을 목적으로 진행되었다. 이와 관련하여 현 시대의 학습개념에 부합되는 자기조절학습과 지식구성과정(Knowledge Construction Process)에 관한 연구가 함께 병행되었다. 구체적으로 살펴보면, 학습자가 자기조절학습 수준에 따라 교육용 온라인 게임 활동 속에서 어떻게 지식을 구성하는지 그 유형을 분석하고, 자기조절 학습 하위영역은 각 수준별 지식구성과정 유형과 어떠한 관련성이 있는가를 알아봄으로써 교육용 온라인 게임의 설계 방향과 활용 방안에 대한 이론적 제안을 하고자 하는 것이었다. 그 결과, 교육용 온라인 게임에서의 지식구성과정 유형은 오프라인 상태에서의 지식구성과정과는 다소 다른 유형을 보였다. 전반적으로 정보의 습득과 변형, 새로운 지식의 창출이라는 커다란 틀에는 변함이 없었으나, 자기조절학습의 수준에 따라 지식구성과정 유형이 다름을 알 수 있었다.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health care and educational needs of college students in an effort to give some suggestions on the development of oral health educational media. It's basically meant to boost the efficiency of oral health education geared toward college students. Methods : The subjects in this study were 500 students at seven different colleges located in Daejeon and South Choongcheong Province. After a survey was conducted, frequency analysis and ANOVA were utilized to analyze the collected data. And the records of the in-depth interviews of 10 students were analyzed as well. Results : The gender of the students and whether their major was linked to health or not made differences to their knowledge of dental caries. And there was nothing to affect their knowledge of periodontal diseases except whether their major was related to health or not. They didn't have a good knowledge of periodontal diseases, and they just regarded toothbrushing as a means to prevent dental caries and periodontal diseases. They preferred to acquire knowledge over the Internet. Conclusions : College students who don't know well about periodontal diseases should be given an opportunity to learn about periodontal diseases and diverse ways of preventing dental caries and periodontal diseases other than toothbrushing. As the college students preferred to surf the Internet, educational programs should be developed in the form of video clips that can be found over the Internet, and more aggressive publicity is required via SNS, etc.
