The importance of church school education is becoming more emphasized. To maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of church school education, frequent utilization of instructional media is more desirable. Systematic approach to media utilization will be developed by the extabilishment of church media center. The purpose of this study was to review the concept and components of church media center and to survey the current status and hope for the facility of church media center. For the survey the 400 questionnaries were distributed to pastors or missionaries who are responssible for education, or personnels in church media center in Korea. The churches that they belong to have above approximately 500 church members. Among the distributed questionnaires, the 202 were collected. The results of the survey are as follows. The printed media and the AV media were managed separately in most churches. Many church media center was shared the space with other programs. The space was allocated mainly for storage. Most respondants hoped that they have a variety of areas in their churches. Many church media center have no separation between the area for the adults and that for children. However, most respondants hoped the separation of that areas. Followings are suggestions for the plan of church media center facilities. The space only for the church media center should be allocated. Church media center should be located in the first floor of the building as soon as possible. (If there is elevators in the building, it may be located above first floor). If enough space for the church media center is allocated, the areas for the adults and children should be separated by partitions or separate room. The space should consist of various areas like circulation area, reading area, working area for the personnel, production area, and storing area.

This study is a basic study to prepare policies related to selecting media to be included in textbooks. Researchers looked at previous studies focusing on how media affect children's and adolescent's emotions according to their developmental stages. Researchers also wanted to identify how the media is related to student emotions, health, and educational effectiveness. The researchers then examined a wide range of domestic media review and rating criteria, and argued that it is necessary to institutionalize the rating system of media at national level policy level. Based on the previous discussion, the researchers made seven suggestions. First, it is necessary to specify media selection criteria in the guidelines for issuing textbooks at the national level. Second, guidelines are needed to help review the political neutrality and human rights aspects of the media for inclusion in textbooks. Third, media selection guidelines in textbooks should be detailed with reference to categories and age based criteria of domestic and foreign media rating system. Fourth, the media rating system should be applied flexibly if there is a clear educational purpose. Fifth, institutional support is needed for setting guidelines for media collection of textbooks. Sixth, media experts should participate in the whole process of textbook development. Seventh, educational programs should be implemented to support teachers to use self directed learning by using educational media in classroom instruction.

National support for use of IPTV in school has increased for the purpose of enhancing public education. As a convergence media, IPTV is expected to create a better and more successful learning experience with individualized content and advanced technology. While the potential benefits of IPTV have been discussed in different perspectives, we cannot fully benefit from new media without careful preparation and pedagogical consideration. Therefore, purpose of this study was to investigate educational use and applicability of IPTV in Korea. First, it redefines the concept and characteristics of IPTV in an educational context. Second, it identifies the main issues and considerations in practice. Lastly, the paper discusses guidelines for future tasks to facilitate the educational use of IPTV in terms of educational application, technological issues (e.g., LMS, set-top box), and content development.

Purpose: The purpose of this research was to identify the effects of providing an information service program by media on preoperative anxiety and postoperative educational satisfaction in patients with cataract surgery. Methods: For this study 52 patients who visited the ophthalmology clinic at P Hospital in B metropolitan city and who were scheduled to undergo one-day cataract surgery under local anesthesia were recruited. The 52 patients were assigned to the experimental group (25) or the control group (27). This study was conducted from August 27, 2015 to May 29, 2016. Results: Following the provision of cataract surgery related information service by media, the experimental group had a lower mean score for anxiety and higher mean score for educational satisfaction compared to the control group of patients. Conclusion: Results indicate that information service program by media "Goodbye Cataract" is useful educational materials for cataract patients in outpatient department and outpatient operating rooms.

A measurement of indoor microorganism using Reuter Centrifugal Air Sampler(RCS) was undertaken during October 1991-February 1999 and 6-Stage Cascade Air Sampler was undertaken during May 2001-June 2001 in Seoul. The results were as follows : 1. The average of total microorganism collected on the agar strip GK-A media were, in the order, subway station, hospital, underground shopping center, department store, book store, theater, sports facility, educational institution, office building in sites. 2. The average of staphylcocci collected on the agar strip GK-S media, in the order, were subway station, underground shopping center, hospital and department store, department store, theater, office building, sports facility and educational institution in sites. 3. The purpose of this research was to develop the method of media literacy education program based on animation production for the 21 century student. A total of four stages of educational programs were constructed by linking the media literacy education goals and the animation production process through the previous research. First, Acquisition of animation production tools for enhancing media access capability. Second, Animation production practice stage for strengthening creative production capacity. Third, the development of critical understanding stage for presentation and discussion the results. Forth, social sharing stage to strengthen social communication capacity. For the practical application of the education program, it was produced as an educational model for Hanseo University animation summer camp, and was educated by 79 middle school students in Chungcheong province. Based on this research, students improve an analytical ability and help them become active participants by creating their own animations. In future, it will be needed a continuous research on the development of educational programs using various media.

In this competitive environment which changes rapidly na extensively we can perceive that the role of education is getting important more and more. The challenge that we face is how we can handle the information and convert it to the knowledge. A lot of schools have already tried to improve the effect of education by using the computers. Besides providing the content of education newly and interestingly the educational use of the integrated Media has a strong point in terms of efficiency and effectiveness that it is excellent in storage, communication, control and handling enormous information as well as in a peculiarity of reciprocity, the high usefulness of communicative education using the experience of vision, audition and simulation in the method of participating of students themselves in education that the previous media systems didn't have. This thesis brought up a substantial problem in producing the consequences of education for children by investigating the psychological and recognitional abilities of children and by understanding the essence of the Integrated Media. And this study provided the solution in terms of the content and the viewpoint in design to raise the educational efficiency and effectiveness of the Integrated Media even though it is just a partial solution.

According to this recent change of the educational stream, the researcher sought to find the relationship between the level of students' Self-Regulated Learning and the Knowledge Construction Process strategies they use to succeed at an educational on-line game, and attempt to make some suggestions on the design and use of educational on-line games in this study. In conclusion, the change in the education paradigm requires students to pursue and produce contextual knowledge by using various media and learning environments. Some theoretical backgrounds, related to situated learning theory and the use of supporting educational media, are necessary. As contextual educational media, On-line games can be expected to play the role of evoking fresh perspective towards all the aspects of education.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health care and educational needs of college students in an effort to give some suggestions on the development of oral health educational media. It's basically meant to boost the efficiency of oral health education geared toward college students. Methods : The subjects in this study were 500 students at seven different colleges located in Daejeon and South Choongcheong Province. After a survey was conducted, frequency analysis and ANOVA were utilized to analyze the collected data. And the records of the in-depth interviews of 10 students were analyzed as well. Results : The gender of the students and whether their major was linked to health or not made differences to their knowledge of dental caries. And there was nothing to affect their knowledge of periodontal diseases except whether their major was related to health or not. They didn't have a good knowledge of periodontal diseases, and they just regarded toothbrushing as a means to prevent dental caries and periodontal diseases. They preferred to acquire knowledge over the Internet. Conclusions : College students who don't know well about periodontal diseases should be given an opportunity to learn about periodontal diseases and diverse ways of preventing dental caries and periodontal diseases other than toothbrushing. As the college students preferred to surf the Internet, educational programs should be developed in the form of video clips that can be found over the Internet, and more aggressive publicity is required via SNS, etc.
