This study aims to determine whether student participation on Twitter affects academic performance. The key goals of the training course were to acquire social networking knowledge and skills and to learn how to share information, be productive in discussions, and create an interest-based community. The initial sample comprised 286 students from Jordan universities, 68.4% of whom agreed to participate in the study. Undergraduate students accounted for 73.9%, and graduate students accounted for 26.1%. Only 14.3% of the students chose the Twitter-based learning model. This is a mixed-methods study that integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches. The undergraduate students were found to tweet more and have more likes, while graduate students had more followers and were following more accounts. Moreover, 21% of the participants were the most active. Spearman's correlation analysis revealed a connection between participation in social media and student performance. Therefore, the results of this study may help educational professionals and education managers.

이 연구에서는 앞으로 비형식 과학 학습 연구가 추구해야 할 방향을 모색하기 위하여, 기존의 비형식 과학 학습 관련 연구들이 다루어온 교육적 관점을 각 분야별로 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 최근 6년간 발행한 비형식 과학 학습 관련 학술지 144편을 대상으로 하여 각 연구에서의 교육적 관점을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 과학적 실천 참여나 정서 고양, 지식의 이해에 관한 연구가 다수 이루어졌지만, 과학의 본성에 대한 이해에 대한 연구는 드물게 이뤄지는 등 몇 가지 교육적 관점에 치우쳐서 연구가 이뤄진 경향이 있었다. 또한 이러한 경향은 각 분야 세부 매체별에서도 나타났는데, 치우친 양상은 매체별로 다양하게 나타났다. 따라서 형식 교육의 보조가 아닌 비형식 과학 학습 그 자체로서의 다양한 측면을 살펴보고, 추구하고자 하는 바를 깊게 이해하기 위해서는 각 매체별 연구에 있어서 다양한 교육적 관점을 검토해야 할 것이다.

This paper inquires into the most desirable measures which can diversify instruction-learning methodsand take advantage of educational facilities in order to carry out both education for the whole man and individualized instruction in a smallscale class primary school. For this purpose, this paper makes investigation into thirty primary schools at Pochon district(including one branch school) and analyzes the contents of investigation into as follows: 1) the general present status of primary schools at Pochon district educational facilities, 2) the educational environment and educational facilities, 3) the instructional systems design and instructional media, 4) the educational facilities for the scale of applying instructional media. And then, on the side of educational facilities, This paper makes proposal for eight accessible alternatives which diversify instruction learning methods and enforce individualized instruction (=open education) without expanding or reconstructing on alarge scale a building of the existing small-scaleprimary schools.

Open education is more relevant to the current educational reality which requires the liberalization, individualization and creativeness, and the effectiveness of open education will be maximized with the full utilization of instructional media. As well known, there are many different types of instructional media to promote open education such as print material, audio material, still picture, movie, computer, and multimedia. The main criteria to choose effective instructional media for open education depend upon easiness of supply and retrieval of information, and promotion of more frequent interaction among participants. In addition, utilization method, cost, curriculum contents, as well as school culture are also elements to consider in the selection of right instructional media.

이 연구의 목적은 미디어환경의 변화에 부합하는 노인미디어교육의 목표와 교육방법을 정립하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 우선 연구의 배경으로서 노인미디어교육의 국내외 현황과 쟁점을 검토한 후 FGI 질적 연구방법을 사용하여 노인미디어교육에 대한 교사 및 학습자들의 인식들을 분석하였다. 심층인터뷰 기조는 노인미디어교육의 목표, 노인미디어교육의 장애요인과 문제점, 선호하는 교육방법 그리고 제안점 등으로 구성하여 교사 및 학습지의 경험에 근거한 삼층적 견해들을 도출하였다. 이러한 연구는 향후 사회적 소외계층의 이론적 체계화와 교육적 활용 방안을 모색하는 데 기초적인 자료를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

정보통신 기술의 발달로 다양한 교수매체가 등장함에 따라 교수매체에 적합한 콘텐츠 제공이 학습의 중요한 요소로 주목받고 있는 가운데, 특히 PDA와 같은 이동통신 학습 환경에 대한 학습자 요구가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 본 논문은 초등학생들의 수학 학습(사칙연산)을 보조하기 위한 이동 학습단말기로서의 PDA 매체를 이용한 학습콘텐츠 설계 기법, 즉 학습 콘텐츠 내에서의 학습 시퀀싱 모델과 학습 콘텐츠사이의 학습 시퀀싱 모델을 설계하였다. 그리고 이를 PDA에서 구현하고, 이를 지원해주는 학습운영시스템을 설계하고 개발하였다. 또한 PDA를 학습 보조 단말기로 활용할 수 있는 실질적인 학습 서비스를 구현하였다. 대한 요약을 기술하시면 됩니다.

Purpose: This study started with the question of how to use Virtual Reality (VR) contents as a part of the non-face-to-face education tool that has recently attracted attention. Methods: In this paper, the use of VR contents as an educational tool is explained as a process of 'new media access dimension'. The question was explored on why Virtual Reality (or Augmented Reality) contents are not used as educational tools in the educational field. Results: As a result, the lack of 'material access' such as devices and infrastructure affects 'motivational access' approach stage, which is the previous stage. Again, it has a negative effect on literacy, which is 'skill access' approach stage. As it was found that it was not circulating to the level of "motive-material-skill-usage", it was discussed that it was taking a different step from the past adoption process of ICT and smart media. Conclusion: Based on this, it is believed that immersive content will contribute to arousing interest that can be applied and spread in the educational field, and it is also thought that it will be possible to derive academic interest in the educational effect according to the characteristics of immersive content such as VR.

National efforts responding to climate change is directly connected to competitiveness of the urban environment. Practice in the daily life of the individual citizens is prerequisite for the paradigm shift that can be made by the reduction of the city's energy consumption and low-carbon green growth. Therefore, the comprehensive understanding combined with the educational programs is required on the issue of the ecological environment and the urban environment competitiveness. In this paper, the meaning and role of urban ecological environment will be researched first. it also takes a look at the content of curriculum and analyses domestic policies related to environmental education of primary and middle schools. In addition, video documentary on urban ecological environment will be analyzed for the development of educational media dealing with environmental training in schools. Consequently, urban ecological environment shown in video media content will be identified and the advantage of this possibility as a medium of education is to be proposed.

The purpose of this study were to identify the use and related variables of instructional media by middle and high school Home Economics teachers, and to provide the foundations for the use and developments of instructional media by some teachers in Home Economics educational fields. Self administered questionnaires were distributed to middle and high school Home Economics teachers and collected by stamps from Sep. 10 to Sep. 30, 1999, and 138 questionnaires were analysed frequencies, percentages, means, and $\chi$(sup)2-test. The results were as follows：1. Schools in city areas, public schools, and boy’s schools allocated more budget to instructional media for creative Home Economics education. Teachers got instructional media information from colleagues, catalogues from media company, and advertisement or columns of journals or newspapers. 2. More younger teachers with shorter educational experiences and active members in related academic associations owned more instructional media and had the ability to develop various instructional media. 3. Most teachers showed dissatisfaction to the prices, purchasing processes, information, quality, and assortments of instructional media.

교구$\cdot$ 설비기준은 학교 교육과정을 위한 기본 요소를 의미한다. 지식기반사회에서 학교도서관은 교육과정을 지원하고 정보활용과 독서지도를 위한 기본적인 교육환경이다. 따라서 학교도서관 교구 설비기준은 학교도서관의 사명을 담아야 하며, 교육적 역할에 적합한 구성요소를 포함하여야 한다. 그러나 현행 기준은 양적 질적 측면에서 불충분하다. 따라서 학교교구·설비기준 개정 시, 학교도서관 교구 ·설비기준은 특히 다음과 같은 내용을 포함하여야 한다. 1. 시설 지침; 2. 기본 설비 방안; 3. 교육적 역할에 적합한 교구 기준; 4. 기본 공간별 설비 종목; 5. 보다 상세한 정보기기 종목; 6. 특수학교도서관 기준 개선
