An engineering educational servery for graduating seniors had been conducted in Songwon University to improve engineering program objectives. The analysis results show that the current engineering educational objectives need to be modified to satisfy the ABEEK accredited criteria and engineering curriculum returning is necessary to include more design courses.

Many housing studies and education programs in Korea have focused on design, planning, and construction. Houses and nearby environments are a large portion of the total assets each household possesses. However, effective and efficient housing management of housing assets has been relatively neglected. Facility management can be defined as the practice of coordinating the physical environment with the people and process (work of the organization). The purpose of this study is to figure out the construct of courses of Housing majors in the College of Human Ecology in Korea and investigate facilities management programs and courses provided in the U.S. to explore the possibility of merging facility management perspectives and educational programs into housing studies. Many courses provided in facility management programs have human ecology perspectives in terms of a multidisciplinary approach, life cycle commitment, and various stakeholders building physical, social, and ecological milieu. By merging and supplementing the existing curricula of housing and consumer studies, facility nanagement programs and courses could be a possible alternative to specialized housing education programs.

연구목적: 본 연구는 미국의 학부 간호교육에서 노인간호에 대한 바람직한 태도를 강화하기 위해 시도된 새로운 교육적 접근법을 고찰하고 국내 간호교육에서의 적용방안을 모색하고자 수행되었다. 연구방법: PubMed, CINAHL의 검색엔진을 사용해 미국 John A. Hartford 재단의 지원으로 노인간호교육을 위한 획기적인 전략개발 프로젝트를 수행한 간호대학의 연구 8편과 그 외 다양한 교육적 방안을 고찰한 논문 4편을 포함한 12편의 연구를 고찰하였다. 연구결과: 노인간호에 대한 올바른 태도형성을 위해 제시된 교육적 접근법은 다음의 네 가지로 구분할 수 있다: 1) 노인간호에 대한 간호전공교과 간의 연계교육, 2) 지역사회 노인의 교육적 멘토 역할, 3) 시청각 매체의 활용, 4) 자기성찰을 통한 토론학습. 향후 응용: 국내 간호교육에서의 효과적인 적용을 위해서는 연계교육을 위한 간호전공교과목 간의 긴밀한 협의 및 교육과정의 탄력적 운영을 위한 교육행정부서의 협조가 수반되어야 한다. 또한, 교육기관과 지역사회와의 긴밀한 파트너십을 구축함으로써 지역사회 노인이 교육적 멘토로 참여하는 방안을 적용해 나갈 수 있다. 무엇보다, 노인간호에 대한 바람직한 태도형성을 위한 간호교육의 중요성을 인식하고 교수자의 교육역량강화와 새로운 교수법 개발을 위한 지속적 노력이 요구된다.

이 연구는 우리나라에서 외국인 유학생의 70% 이상의 비율을 차지하는 중국인 유학생을 대상으로 이들의 전공학습역량 향상을 위해 교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 교육의 국제화로 한국에 체류하며 학위과정에 있는 외국인 수는 이미 10만 명을 돌파하였으나, 이들은 대학생활의 부적응으로 중도탈락자가 지속적으로 발생하고 있으며 특히 학업에서 강의내용의 이해부족, 연구수행과 발표 능력의 부족으로 인한 학업 성취도 저하의 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 대학원 과정에 있는 중국인 유학생들의 전공학습역량을 강화할 수 있도록 Caffarella와 Daffron의 상호 작용모델을 활용하여 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 중국인 대학원생들을 대상으로 학업 측면에서의 어려움과 구체적인 요구를 파악하고자 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 도출된 요구(전공지식, 의사소통, 과제작성, 발표)를 반영하여 전공학습역량 향상을 위한 교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이 연구에서는 단순한 한국어 능력 향상이나 대학생활 적응을 위한 교육 프로그램이 아닌 전공학습을 지원할 수 있는 교육 프로그램 개발에 중점을 두었다. 이 연구의 결과는 중국인 대학원생이 전공에 대한 학업을 잘 수행함으로써 한국에서의 유학생활을 원만하게 이수하는데 도움이 될 수 있으며, 향후 중국인 유학생을 위한 구체적인 교과목 및 교육과정개발과 운영을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to ascertain the degree of students' educational satisfaction according to their Problem-based learning strategy. Method: The subjects were 277 nursing students in C College. A questionnaire modified by researchers was used and analyzed by the SPSS WIN 12.0 program. Result: This study showed that there's a positive relationship between the level of students' educational satisfaction and their learning strategies, including collaborative, self-directed, self-expression and time management strategies. Those who were in the second year and those who have considered temporary absence from school and/or change of academic courses used the least learning strategies and showed the lowest level of educational satisfaction. The top three learning strategies influencing educational satisfaction were time management, collaborative strategies and self-directed strategies respectively. Self-expression strategy was not statistically significant as an influencing factor on educational satisfaction. Conclusion: The more learning strategies that are used, the higher the level of educational satisfaction as a whole. Further studies on how to increase student's educational satisfaction and a way to advance in learning strategies are recommended.

본 연구에서는 기록관이 이용자들을 위하여 제공하고 있는 교육서비스 프로그램에 초점을 맞추어서, 선행연구 및 선진국의 사례들을 파악하고 정리하였다. 기록관의 교육서비스 프로그램은 첫째, 주로 초 중등 학생과 교사들을 대상으로 수행되고 있었으며, 둘째, 현행 교과과정과 밀접한 연관이 있는 일차 사료 활용에 중점을 두고 있었다. 셋째, 교사 및 교육전문가, 보존기록전문가(archivists)들간의 구체적이고도 지속적인 협력관계가 병행되고 있었으며, 넷째, 직접적인 강의 형태 외의 책자자료 및 웹 기반 자료로도 다양하게 교육기능이 제공되고 있었다. 마지막으로 기록관의 교육프로그램 대상 주제 영역은 역사 영역 뿐만 아니라 사회과학 및 인문 예술영역도 대상으로 수행되고 있었다.

한국공학교육인증원은 사단법인으로 공학 및 관련 학과의 교육 프로그램을 인증하는 기관으로서 국내의 공학 및 관련 사회의 광범위한 요구를 충족시키기 위해 프로그램 인증기준을 정하였다. 공학인증 프로그램에 참여하는 학생은 인증 기준에 부합되도록 프로그램에서 정한 이수체계에 따라 교과목을 이수하여야 학사 학위를 취득할 수 있다. 따라서 학생들의 교과과정 이수 상황을 효율적으로 확인하고 지도할 수 있는 도구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 구현된 교과과정 이수 지도 도구의 구조 설계 및 개발 내용에 대하여 기술한다. 도구를 구현하기 위하여 교과목 정보 데이터베이스와 이수체계에 따른 과목별 선수관계 정보 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 그리고 학생별로 이수현황표를 분석하여 이수현황 정보를 추출하고 이를 효율적으로 확인하고 지도할 수 있도록 이수체계도상에 표현하였다. 실험결과 개발된 이수 지도 도구를 활용한 이수지도가 수강신청원 위주로 된 방법보다 지도효과가 높음을 확인하였다.

Compiler course is one of the important courses in computer science. It requires more efficient learning environment because of its large coverage scale and complexity. One of its solutions is to provide the integrated development environment for educational compilers which is enable to give practice-oriented class and enhance student's interest. This paper presents the code generation support system developed in an integrated development environment of educational compiler. Our system helps students to understand the process of code generation and visualizes the relation among the source language, AST, and the target language. It makes students develop their own compilers more easily.

The excessive demand for universities in metropolitan areas as a result of location premiums and regulated admissions quotas diminishes the competition between universities and the incentive to enhance educational performance to attract more students. Cases in point are the lower graduate employment rates (a measure of educational performance) of universities in metropolitan areas compared to those in non-metropolitan areas despite higher quality students. Additionally, the graduate employment rates of non-metropolitan universities are influenced by educational input factors such as an increase in the percentage of courses taught by full-time faculty, while those of metropolitan universities are contingent merely on enrollees' entrance scores. Ergo, a structure that revitalizes the competition between universities and encourages them to improve their educational services must be established in order to enhance the quality of higher education.

Learning Power Electronics is essential in both electrical and electronic engineering fields and the introductory courses are similar in many universities. Taking this premise into account, an educational computer-aided platform for power electronics will be presented in this paper. This educational platform includes an e-book, a set of power electronics animations, Java simulations, as well as several hands-on training sessions. The main advantages of this platform are twofold. First, all necessary teaching tools are combined on a single platform. And secondly, access to this platform is available free of charge and with no complicated registration requirements. In addition to traditional teaching techniques, the use of this platform has demonstrated an increase in student participation and has consistently improved their academic performance. Data consist of surveys, which guarantee both reliability and validity through psychometric techniques.
