The notion of outcome-based educational paradigm and its adaptability for higher education has become a recent growing and quite stirring trend. In the year 2017-18, this educational philosophy has been embraced by some of the higher educational institutions in Pakistan as well. This research attempts to investigate OBE and non-OBE systems in the context of students learning outcomes and academic attainment levels in engineering education in Pakistan. The study has been conducted on undergraduate students of MUET, Jamshoro, Sindh Pakistan. The students of the software engineering department are taken as the sample. Student cohorts are formed i.e., OBE and non-OBE (traditional/teacher-centered approach) cohorts. The summative assessments of semester exams are used for data analysis descriptive statistics and independent samples t-test is performed to set up the group statistic. The findings of this study show that, in terms of students' performance, the OBE system outperforms the traditional system and this transition in engineering institutions might be beneficial in the future.

This paper provides an overview of the E-learning service education on the last decade, In the early 2000's the emphasis of educational technology was on interactive multimedia- stand alone packages on computer hard disks or portable memory, which integrated a range of media forms in the lately. Customers handle finding the best sources of content.The system then uses social signals such as those coming from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, delicious as well as clicks and views. The SNS and network infrastructure is sufficiently mature that the focus should shift to how to use the technology most appropriately to facilitate learning. As we study environmental conditions of the traditional internet and the mobile internet users in some ways. In this paper, analyze the nature of learning, role of educational and suggest alternative policy, innovation of e-learning service and effective e-learning environment in developing technology.

The purpose of the article is to address a new instructional approach to a complex engineering course. We design a novel instructional method that combines mobile technology, simulation program, collaborative teamwork, problem-solving process, and a variety of evaluation techniques. We suggested five instructional principles that might be required to change the fundamental educational process by which learning is done. The proposed instructional method is expected to aspire for new perspectives on complex learning environment. Nevertheless we solely began by the research on the development of students' complex problem-solving performance in a complex engineering course, the new instructional method in the article can promote the adoption of new instructional methods and strategies across different knowledge domains. In addition, the instructional method can provide a valuable bridge to acquisition and transfer of problem solving, motivation, and meaning learning.

The purpose of this study is to gauge the level of awareness of elementary, middle school, and highschool teachers regarding teaching-learning activities, learning space, and support for technology-based instruction in current and future school education, thereby providing essential data for seeking future improvements in the learning environment. Towards this end, a survey questionnaire (sectionalized into teaching-learning activities, learning space, and support for technology-based instruction) was developed. Subsequently the survey was administered to a random sampling of elementary, middle school, and highschool teachers in the Kyonggi, Kangwon, and Chonra Provinces. An in-depth analysis was conducted on the 797 questionnaire responses thus attained, focusing on the teachers' level of awareness regarding teaching-learning activities, learning space, and support for technology-based instruction, the correlation of the findings of the three areas in question, and the differences of the findings according to the circumstances of those surveyed. Based on the results, the authors of this study propose the following: First, that school administrators take into account the level of awareness of frontline teachers regarding teaching-learning activities, learning space, support for technology-based instruction. Second, efforts should be made to establish a safe and secure learning environment conducive to the synergic interplay of the three areas in question, by realizing true ICT in the classroom. Third, teachers in the classroom must endeavor to achieve a meaningful synthesis between educational programs and teaching-learning activities, as well as to serve as harbingers of improvements in the way we conduct the business of education.

Objective: This study aims towards exploring a model of the HCI evaluation methods to improve the usability of mobile device, based on a case of a Mobile PDA system in a Museum context. Background: Mobile PDA systems in a Museum context is widely utilized for the educational purposes, but it is criticized for low usability that the device only play a role in textbooks on legs without any interactive educational activities. Therefore, the usability improvements on the mobile PDA system should be considered. Method 1: This model was developed with a combination of the expert review and the user testing, and with a combination of the qualitative and quantitative studies. In more details, first of all, a qualitative study was conducted as a combination of three different methods: 1) expert review with heuristics, 2) interviews with persons working in a museum, and 3) contextual enquiry. Results 1: The experts review provided with critical usability issues, and the semi-constructive interview helped to understand the background of the mobile device. Lastly, the contextual enquiry showed user experience problems and directions of improving the device from user's perspective. Method 2: Based on the results of the qualitative study, a questionnaire was designed. Results 2: The analysis of the quantitative study was conducted to generalize the problems, and prioritize the direction of improving the device within the limitation of the cost and time in a museum. Conclusion: This study has implications in developing an example of a HCI evaluation model to improve the user experience of the mobile device as well as finding problems and directions of how to improve the mobile PDA systems in the museum. Application: In fact, most of the studies related to the evaluation of the mobile device have been conducted in a laboratory context due to the cost and time. This paper, however, attempted to apply to various HCI research techniques from different constituents in real context.

This study aims to cultivate specialized professionals equipped with practical skills essential for compliance with textile environmental regulations and analysis of harmful substances. This is achieved through the revision and restructuring of educational programs targeting workers in the chemical analysis industry. To address this, a survey was conducted among chemical industry workers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to gauge the demand for educational programs. Specifically, a survey was conducted among 240 SME workers who participated in the 2022 education curriculum to identify their educational needs and specific requirements in the field. The research findings indicate that the majority of SMEs recognize the necessity of education in the chemical field and express a strong willingness to engage in the curriculum. Particularly emphasized was the need to enhance practical skills crucial for compliance with chemical environmental regulations. Consequently, adjustments were made to the curriculum, reallocating time and increasing the duration of practical training. This enables trainees to directly operate analysis machines and interpret results. Additionally, in response to further educational demands reflected by survey participants, the curriculum was expanded from five to six courses, with adjustments made to existing educational programs. Based on these research outcomes, practical educational methods tailored to SME requirements are proposed, aiming to bridge the gap between regulatory compliance and industry needs.

본 연구에서는 경기도 교육정보화 현황을 파악, 분석하여 이를 토대로 향후 교육정보화의 방향 및 갖추어야 할 제반 여건에 대해 제안하고자 한다. 경기도 교육정보화 현황 조사결과, 정보화 물적 기반 구축에 비해 교수-학습에의 활용은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 보급된 기자재의 급속한 노후화 및 관리운영의 비용문제, 우수 교육용 컨텐츠의 개발 저조 및 미비한 보급체제 등이 문제점으로 지적되었다. 이러한 조사결과를 토대로, 교육정보화 정책에 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 추진방향을 다음의 4가지 영역으로 세분화하여 제안하였다: 효율적 교육 정보화 물적 기반 구축; 우수 교육자료 개발 및 보급; 효율적 교원 정보화연수; 및 교육정보화 정착을 위한 운영 지원.

본 연구는 대학 플립드러닝에서 수업 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 규명하고 학습실재감의 매개효과를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학습자 변인으로 자기조절과 학습실재감, 협력지향성을 선정하였으며, 학습성과 변인으로는 지각된 학업성취와 학습참여를 선정하였다. 변인 간 관계를 규명하기 위하여 대학생 39명을 대상으로 16주간 플립드러닝 수업을 실시하고 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 수집된 데이터를 다중회귀분석 및 매개분석으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습실재감과 자기조절은 학습참여에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 더 나아가 학습실재감은 자기조절과 학습참여 관계를 유의하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 지각된 학업성취의 경우 학습실재감만이 유의하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 향후 대학 플립드러닝의 성과를 높이기 위해서는 자기조절, 학습실재감, 학습참여를 고려한 다양한 교수 학습전략이 필요함을 시사한다.

The article substantiates the feasibility of using and actively implementing innovative technologies in the practice of organizing the educational process. The need for the use of telecommunication technologies, which provide constant communication between students and the teacher outside the classroom, has been identified. Particular attention is paid to the latest approaches to the use of various forms of multimedia technologies in student education, which intensify the process of acceptance and assimilation of educational material by foreign students. The advantages of using innovative means of distance education are determined, which thanks to modern electronic educational systems allow students to receive quality higher education. Innovative technologies promote the development of cognitive interest in students, they learn to systematize and summarize the material studied, discuss and debate. In this regard, the reorientation of the system of higher education in Europe towards innovation is becoming the most important tool in ensuring the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market. In addition, the investment attractiveness of a university often depends on the innovative nature of the development of scientific, educational and practical activities of the subjects of the educational process, their inclusion in the national innovation system. The article analyzes that in the universities of the European Union in the training of specialists in the management of basic interactive methods, forms and tools are binary lecture, briefing, webinar, video conference, video lecture, virtual consultation, virtual tutorial, slide lecture, comp. utheric tests. Various classes on slide technology took active forms during the training of management specialists.

본 논문에서는 네팔(Nepal)의 6개 시범 초등학교를 대상으로 유러닝 박스(U-Learning Box)와 유비쿼터스 기반의 시험(UBT, Ubiquitous-based Test) 시스템을 이용한 교육 혁신 사례 연구 성과를 소개하고 있다. 전력 공급 사정이 열악한 네팔 국가의 현실을 고려할 때 작고 이동성이 용이한 교사용 태블릿 PC와 자체 배터리를 가진 소형 스마트 빔으로 구성된 유러닝 박스가 시범 초등학교를 대상으로 지속적인 기초 영어 교육과 보건 위생 교육을 지원하는 최적의 솔루션으로 평가되었다. 그리고 태블릿 PC를 이용한 UBT 기술을 이용해 시범 초등학교 학생들의 기초 영어 학습 능력을 평가하고 분석함으로써 이를 토대로 한 교육 환경 개선 및 현지 수준에 적합한 교육 콘텐츠의 개발이 필요함을 인식하게 되었다. 이러한 유러닝 박스와 UBT 기술을 이용한 글로벌 교육 혁신 사례는 네팔 뿐만 아니라 기초 교육 환경이 열악한 개발도상국들을 대상으로 하는 글로벌 교육 기회 평등 프로젝트의 성공 모델로 자리 잡을 것으로 기대한다.
