TV 속에 나타난 식생활관련 정보의 모니터 사례 분석 (The monitoring Case Analysis of Nutrition-related Programs Presented on Television Broadcast Media)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze information about food and nutrition topics presented throughout the television broadcast media, thereby suggest the optimal communication method to give right information to the general public. To perform this study, total sixteen monitoring people were recruited and trained through monitoring practice before and during the study . Five domestic TV channels were selected to be monitored, for six months. For the best efficiency, all the monitoring people were divided into 8 teams based on the regional consideration. The statistical analysis of data was completed using SAS program. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the total reporting cases of information about foods and nutrition were 237 , among which about 30% was classified as appropriate and 70% as inappropriate based on the trained monitors' evaluation. Second, the analysis of contents about incorrect informations showed that the insufficient descriptions of terminology and contents were the highest. And insufficient scientific evidences, incorrect contents excessively entertainment-oriented, no provision of alternatives , improper selection of expert advisors were followed. These results suggest that systematical monitoring should be continued to reduce the frequency of incorrect communication thereby give the right information in food and nutrition area to the general public. And there should be a closely cooperated system to provide the professional information to broadcasting production team by establishing the strategic program. In order to do that, most importantly the advisory team should be organized to professionally connect mass media to corresponding specialists. In addition, more educational programs about food and nutrition should be developed to provide right information to the general public.

스마트 미디어 시대 EBS의 콘텐츠 서비스 (Contents Service of EBS in the Era of Smart Media)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 스마트 미디어 시대에 다양한 플랫폼에서 제공되는 교육방송 EBS의 콘텐츠 서비스 특성을 분석하는 것이다. 다양한 플랫폼에서 제공하는 콘텐츠 서비스 유형은 무엇인지, 그리고 콘텐츠 서비스 전략과 내용은 무엇인지 분석하였다. 분석 결과, EBS는 웹기반과 모바일 영역에서 EBS 방송 실시간 서비스, 다시보기 VOD, 그리고 e-learning 서비스 등 다양한 콘텐츠를 제공하고 있다. 콘텐츠를 다양한 단말을 통해 제공하는 역량은 잘 구축되어 있다고 판단되지만, EBS의 멀티 플랫폼 서비스가 e-learning측면에 치우쳐져 있어, EBS의 다양한 장르의 콘텐츠 차별성을 인지시킬 수 있는 서비스 재편이 필요하다. EBS가 개방성을 확대하고 다양한 웹서비스와 SNS 서비스 등을 더 제공하는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있으며, 공영적 통합 미디어 플랫폼으로서 역할 강화에 노력할 필요가 있다.

아동 및 청소년 성교육 자료의 활용 실태와 평가 (Status of Use and Evaluation of Materials of Sexual Education for Child and Adolescent in Schools, Korea)

  • We would like to suggest the guideline of use of materials of sexual education for adolescent in school by examining the status of use of materials and by evaluating the video materials frequently used. Survey was done by enquetes on status of use of materials of sexual education from school nurses in 190 primary, 44 middle and 50 high schools in Seoul, Kyonggi-do and Kangwon-do from August 1999 to February 2000. The frequently used 84 videotapes were evaluated on their contents. As for the status of use, 99.3% of subjected schools possessed the materials for sexual education. Decision of purchase was determined according to the review of contents (92.6%). Information about materials was received by the advertisement in newspapers or broadcasting (46.1%) or recommendation of peer teacher (32.4%). Videotape was most frequently used (64.1%) rather than books or CD. Teachers concerns on the materials were the educational content according to developmental stage of students (41.9%), content provoking interest (33.5%) and concrete guide for teacher (10.6%). As for the evaluation of the contents of videotapes, a subject of education was not described out of 46.6%. Videotape producer were mostly the Government-affiliated institutes or non-profit organizations (86.8%). The year of production was indicated from 41.7%. Running time range of 21-30 minutes was highest (55.9%). The price was marked in only one videotape. Subjects of contents were general sexual education (34.5%), sexual violence or sexual harassment (21.4%), pregnancy and contraception (14.2%) and AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases (8.3%) and dating and adolescent change (4. 8%), and etc (11.9 %). According to above results, we suggested that materials for sexual education should be completed with a description on the subjected group, summary of content, information on the tape producer, year of production, running time and sale price.

  • 정부의 사교육 경감 대책 및 수학교육 선진화 방안이 발표되고, 교육부에서는 '농산어촌 ICT 지원 사업'으로 농산어촌의 교육정보화 격차를 줄이는 사업을 진행하고 있다. 또한 한국교육방송(EBS)에서는 EBSmath 라는 수학 자기 주도 학습 사이트를 개설하고, 다양한 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하고 있다. '농산어촌 ICT 지원 사업'에서 지원된 스마트기기를 활용하여 EBSmath 사이트를 활용한 학습이 여러 가지의 교육정보화가 열악한 농촌학생들에게 스스로의 힘으로 지식을 습득하고 체계적으로 정리하여 새로운 지식을 산출하는 능력, 즉 수학 자기주도 학습에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 본고에서 연구하였다.

  • 최근 코로나19로 비대면의 중요성이 강조됨에 따라 VR 콘텐츠는 오프라인 활동이 제한된 시각예술, 미디어 아트, 뉴미디어 전시 및 공연 분야의 대안으로 주목받고 있다. 전시·공연 VR 콘텐츠와 같은 실사 기반 VR 영상 콘텐츠에 관심이 높아지고 있으나 몰입감이나 만족도에 관한 연구는 게임이나 애니메이션 VR 콘텐츠에 집중되어 있어 실제 적용을 위한 정보와 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 전시, 공연 분야에서 공연장 내 VR카메라의 배치는 관람자의 시점을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 전시·공연 VR 영상에서 촬영된 카메라의 위치와 높이 차이가 이용자의 프레즌스와 만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 이를 위해 서로 다른 위치와 높이에서 촬영된 융복합 전시·공연 <예/인/선>의 VR 영상 콘텐츠를 HMD로 체험 후 프레즌스 및 만족도를 측정하였다. 연구결과, 카메라는 객석에서 무대 중심으로 이동할수록 프레즌스와 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 높이의 차이는 실재 몰입감에서만 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것으로 알 수 있었다.

물리치료학과 학생들의 치매인식도 조사연구(광주, 전남) (A Study on the Perception of Dementia by Students of Physical Therapy - Gwangju and Jeonnam)

  • Purpose: This study aims to draw students' attention to dementia and give students the right perception of dementia patients by comparing and analyzing students' awareness of dementia and educational needs of students in Honam area. In addition, the study will provide basic data that will help people develop education programs to prevent dementia. Methods: The study was conducted from May 10, 2018 to June 14, 2018, for 957 college students of physical therapy at 11 universities in Gwangju and Jeonnam. All participants understood the purpose of the study and agreed to participate in the study. Out of a total of 957 respondents, 950 people participated in the study, except for the seven who were unsuccessful in the survey. Results: Interest in dementia was found to be moderate, and many respondents answered that they had "information about dementia". Among them, broadcasting accounted for 41 percent of the total. Dementia awareness was categorized in four areas, symptom, disease, treatment, and nursing. In general, there is a low perception in all areas and improvement is needed. The need for dementia education was also different from what we thought. 649 students(68%) answered that they did not have dementia education. This is 349(36%) more than the 300 students(32%) who answered "Yes". Conclusion: The results show that college students lack awareness of dementia. In order to improve awareness of dementia, the government and community should be more interested in managing dementia, and active efforts to develop positive thinking and attitudes towards dementia.

'국제개발협력과 헬스케어' 수강생의 국제개발협력 인지도 변화 (Changes in the Awareness of International Development Cooperation among Students Taking International Development Cooperation and Healthcare)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to identify the educational effects of the International Development Cooperation and Healthcare course from 2018 to 2020. Methods : Changes in awareness of international development cooperation (understanding international development cooperation as well as government Official Development Assistance [ODA], thoughts on aid, and thoughts on government's aid scale) were analyzed using web-based surveys. The pre-course survey was conducted 1-2 weeks before the semester started, and the post-course survey was conducted 1-2 weeks after the semester ended. All data were analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 program, and statistical significance was set at p< .05. Results : A total of 314 people participated in the survey before taking the course, and 286 people participated in the survey after taking the course. Analysis of the changes in students' awareness of international development cooperation showed that all items (understanding international development cooperation and government ODA, as well as having thoughts on aid and government's aid scale) were improved. Regarding changes in awareness according to general characteristics, thoughts on aid were statistically significant according to all characteristics except for 2018. Regarding government's aid scale, awareness scores increased after taking the course in students who majored in healthcare, fine arts and athletics, broadcasting and media studies, and digital contents. Conclusion : This study showed that changes in awareness of international development cooperation were largest in second-year students. Compared to changes regarding international development cooperation, government ODA, and thoughts on aid, changes regarding thoughts on government's aid scale were minor. In the future, it is necessary to develop class content suitable for the first-year level and to supplement and operate content that can change the way of thinking on government's aid scale.

학습자 참여도 정보기반 가상강좌 출석평가 모델 (Attendance Appraisal for Learner Participation Degree Based Virtual Lecture)

  • 최근 컴퓨터 보급의 대중화와 초고속 통신망 사용의 보편화는 전통적인 교육형식에 많은 변화를 주는 계기가 되었다. 그 중에서도 웹 기반의 다양한 멀티미디어 매체 기술, 컴퓨터 네트워크를 통한 정보의 상호작용 등은 시 공간을 초월한 가상교육 등장에 촉진제 역할을 하고 있다. 이러한 가상교육은 교수자와 학습자간의 상호작용이 가상공간에서 이루어져 학습지도, 학습평가, 피드백 등의 학습수행 측면에서 문제점이 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 가상강좌의 학습평가요수 중 하나인 출석평가에 대해 학습자 참여도를 기반으로 평가하는 모델을 제안한다. 학습자 참여도란 개설된 가상교육에 학습자의 자발적인 참여 정도를 말한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 학습자 참여도 기반 출석 평가모델은 교수자에게는 자동화된 출석평가 기능을 제공하며, 학습자에게는 가상강좌의 능동적인 참여 동기유발 효과를 기대한다.

유비쿼터스 사회환경에서의 도서관 기능 및 서비스에 관한 연구 (A Study on Functions and Services of a Library Based on Ubiquitous Life)

  • 도서관의 역할 및 서비스는 전통적으로 정보기술의 변화에 많은 영향을 받으면서 발전하여 왔다. 최근 새로운 정보 기술로서 유비쿼터스 기술이 의학, 건축, 상거래, 방송통신 등의 다양한 분야에서 연구되어지고 있다. 이와 같은 유비쿼터스 정보기술은 도서관에서 제공하고 있는 서비스 및 기능에 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 유비쿼터스 정보기술의 발전과 함께, 도서관은 역할 및 기능에 있어서 많은 변화가 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 네트워크에 대한 개념과 정의를 알아보았으며 특히, 향후 유비쿼터스 사회의 기술적 기반이 되는 요소기술 및 요구사항과 함께, 도서관의 새로운 역할 및 서비스에 대하여 알아 보았다. 이를 위하여 문헌조사, 사례연구 및 전문가그룹과의 인터뷰를 수행하였다. 이를 통하여 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 도서관 서비스 및 역할은 두 가지 관점 즉, 네트워크 및 물리적 공간을 기준으로 고려되어져야 함을 제안하였다. 또한 도서관은 전통적인 정보제공기관으로서 뿐만이 아니라 문화기관 및 교육기관으로서 역할이 더욱 확대되어질 것이며 이를 위한 개인화 및 문화 교육서비스를 위한 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.

방송대 간호학생의 교육요구 및 효율적 네트워크 구성에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on Education Need and Effective Network Formation for the KNOU Nursing Students)

  • This survey study was attempted for two purposes : 1) to grasp Korea National Open University(KNOU) students' changing aspects for their education need through comparison analyses with 1996 data ; 2) to establish foundation of the systematic network formation by investgating students' opinion about network framework. Among randomly assigned 4,500 students, 1,505 KNOU nursing students who allowed to participate in the study completed the questionnaires. The data were collected by mail. For the comparison 1996 data were also used. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test, and t-test. Results of this study were as follows 1. The admission purposes of the KNOU nursing students were 'in order to get a bachelor's degree (70.7%)', 'to do studying and working simultaneously(43.0%)', or 'to be admitted for the graduate school (41%)' etc. Comparing the admission purposes by age, the investigator found 4 items which are 'small amount of tuition', 'graduate school admission', 'aspiration for the university', 'promotion or commencement of work' showed statistically significant differences. These 4 items were also found to show significant differences by marital status. 2. In relation to the learning media, the study showed most students(74%) got effective informations from the school newspaper(36.5%) or peer group(37.7%). The result showed that few students (0.7%) used the computer for communication. The research indicated that KNOU nursing students have tendency to rely on printed materials more than on broadcasting media. This is almost the same result as that of 1996. 3. The results revealed that 12.4% of the respondents had ever experienced unregistration or temporary withdrawal. The most common reason for the unregistration was 'due to family affairs or their job (71.3%)'. There were no change for this aspects with 1996. 4. As for the professors-students network formation. The result revealed that 38.5% students among respondents had heard of the network formation. 78.7% of respondents, however, positively responed that they would willingly participate in the networking if it is made. Especially the students showed much interest in 'the improvement for the understanding of study' and 'strengthening of the relations between professors and students'.
