육군 훈련교육에서 시뮬레이터 시스템의 지각된 교육효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Percepted Education Effectiveness of Simulator System in the Army Training Education)

  • The main objective of this study is to show how to measure the education effectiveness of simulator system in the army. We investigate the education effectiveness through the measuring model that consists of three dimensions such as understanding, experience, and learning. The results of empirical analysis demonstrate that the education effectiveness depends on three dimensions. The result also suggests that the higher the degree of each dimension is, the higher the education effectiveness. However, there is no education effectiveness difference between the traditional training and the simulator training because of the elementary level of simulator function.

송전망 축약을 위한 교육용 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of Educational Simulator for Novel Network Reduction)

  • This paper presents a graphical windows-based program for the education and training for novel network reduction. The object of developed simulator is to provide users with a simple and useable tool for gaining an intuitive feel for power system analysis. The developed simulator consists of the main module (MMI,GUI), the location marginal price module (LMP), the clustering module and network reduction module. Each module has a separate graphical and interactive interfacing window. The developed simulator needs with the PSS/E input data format, generator cost function, location information. Line admittances of reduced network was determined by using the power flow method(Newton-Raphson). So line flow of reduced network is almost same to original power system. Results of reduced network are compared on the window in the tabular format. Therefore, the developed simulator can be utilized as a useful tool for effective education and training for power system analysis.

  • In this paper a Hybrid Real Time HVDC Simulator fur both operator Training and Researching in the Cheju-Haenam HVDC System is proposed and its performance is studied by means of RTDS (Real Time Digital Simulator), EMTDC (Electro-Magnetic Transients system for DC), PSS/E (Power System Simulator for Engineering), and experienced scenarios. The objective of this paper is to represent the strategy in development for KEPCO's hybrid HVDC simulator for the Cheju-Haenam HVDC system. This simulator consists of two DC stations, DC cables, external digital/analog controllers, monitoring systems and control desk for education, and AC networks. Its suitability for operator's education is tested during startup/shutdown and normal state operations. Dynamic performances of it are also verified.

  • 시뮬레이터는 산업교육에 있어서 유용하게 활용되고 있다. 특히 고도의 가치산업이나 위험한 시스템에 대한 교육을 실시하기 위해서 사용하기에 적합한 방법이다. 또한, 이론교육에서 체험형 교육으로 전향되는 산업교육에 있어서는 교육의 효과를 위하여 필요하다. 따라서 현장에서 실무에 도움이 되도록 LPG 이송방법에 대한 교육극대화를 위하여 이론교육과 체험교육의 중간 매개체 역할의 장비를 개발하여 교육에 적용하였다. 교육에 적용한 결과 교육장비가 이송시스템 이해도가 4.86점/5점, 현장에서 활용도는 4.47점/5점, 장비의 만족도는 4.48점.5점으로 나왔다. LPG 이송시스템 교육장비(시뮬레이터)가 교육에 활용시 효과적인 것으로 판단된다.

  • 기존의 교육용 디지털 시뮬레이터들은 논리소자(AND, OR gate 등)의 입력 포트 수, 선의 상태변화, custom component등에 대한 제한이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 제한을 완화시키고, 큰 규모의 논리를 여러 개의 도면으로 나누어 처리할 수 있는 확장형 디지털 논리 회로 시뮬레이터 XSIM (eXpandable digital logic circuit SIMulator)을 제안한다. XSIM은 큰 회로를 여러 개의 페이지로 나누어 작업이 가능함으로 복잡한 논리도면 구성이나, 팀별수업에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper summarizes an education and training system for the auto-reclosing of power transmission system using a real time digital simulator. The system is developed to understand the principle of reclosing and the sequence of automatic reclosing schemes, and practice the effects of reclosing actions to power system in real-time simulator. This study is concentrated into the following two parts. One is the development of real time education and training system of automatic reclosing schemes. For this, we use the RTDS(real time digital simulator) and the actual digital protective relay. The mathematical relay model of RTDS and the actual distance relay which is equipped automatic reclosing function are also used. The other is the user friendly interface between trainee and trainer. The various interface displays are used for user handing and result display. The conditions of automatic reclosing which is a number of reclosing, reclosing dead time, reset time, and so on, can be changed by the user interface panel. A number of scenario cases are reserved for the education and training. Through the test, we verified that the proposed system can be effectively used to accomplish the education and training of automatic reclosing.

Implementation of Unity's Catastrophic Situation Driving Training Simulator for the Disabled

  • 장애인의 운전 교육 이수 과정은 어려움과 불편한 부분들이 많다. 운전 교육 내용 부분에서도 실제 운전 주행 중 예측할 수 없는 다양한 돌발상황들이 발생한다. 현재 시행하고 있는 운전 교육 과정에서도 돌발상황에 대한 교육들이 이루어지고 있으나, 다양한 돌발상황에 대처하는 교육은 미비하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 유니티 기반의 장애인 운전 교육 시뮬레이터를 제안한다. 유니티를 이용하여 다양한 돌발상황에 대한 시나리오를 구성하여 시뮬레이터를 제작한다. 피실험자들을 통하여 모의주행을 실시하여, 평가항목에 따른 기존의 돌발상황에 대한 대처 점수를 평가한다. 기존의 운전 교육 시뮬레이터에 비해 제안 시스템의 돌발상황에 대한 대처 능력의 평가점수가 높게 나온 것으로 확인되었다. 제안 시스템을 활용하면 돌발상황에 대한 대처 능력 향상과 실제감 높은 운전 체험을 통하여 삶의 질을 높이는 것을 기대할 수 있다.

Virtual reality training simulator for tooth preparation techniques

  • Standard oral and maxillofacial three-dimensional model was developed with patients' medical data while virtual reality (VR) simulator was developed in conjunction with head mount display (HMD) and Haptic device. The objective of this study was to evaluate the preclinical use of a VR training simulator in tooth preparation practice. Eighty-nine dental students were trained how to operate the simulator. The participants were then given sufficient time on the simulator to practice dental preparation. The students experience and opinion was then taken in through filling of questionnaires. On average content received 1.8 points, anatomy had 2.5 points, 2.6 points for the applicability, and 2.0 for the usability. As for the detailed items scores, queries about the possible development of the simulator and the interest of the learning process through the simulator were the highest at 3.1 and 3.0 points, respectively. Question about the benefit of the HMD and the haptic device during the practice had 1.5 and 1.6 points, respectively. The average total score was 2.2 points. VR tooth preparation simulator in the field of clinical dental education has powerful potential in regard to realistic models, environments, vision, posture, and economical efficiency.

Analysis of School Safety Education Utilization with Educational Game Elements

  • In order to create and utilize experiential equipment that can be effectively used in school safety education, this paper uses the Korean Safety Education Association's CPR simulator to utilize the elements of educational games: goals, rules, competition, challenge, fantasy, safety, and fun. When the content that combines game elements with general educational equipment was utilized in school education sites, significant results were obtained on the effectiveness of education with active participation of students.

  • Recently. internet applications for efficient cyber education have drawn much interests. The world-wide web provides new opportunities for cyber education over the internet. In this paper, we developed the internet-based educational simulator for design and virtual experiment of the digital logic circuits. The proposed simulator provides the improved learning methods which can enhance the educational efficiency in digital theory. If the students execute the Digital simulator on the web. they can simulate in digital circuits through simple mouse manipulation. The proposed digital simulator can be used so that the students can easily understand the well-known digital principles.
