The purpose of this paper is to forecast the future of library education in Korea. Toward this purpose, first, the historical events of library education in the United States of America and in the United Kingdom are introduced along with the IFLA Standards for Library Schools and the Unesco's General Information Programme. Secondly, the theoretical foundations of library education are extracted from the events. Thirdly, the factors influencing library education as well as library developments are identified, and, finally, the prospects of library education are forecasted in the light of the various factors in the Korean society and the theoretical foundations. The prospects are forecasted as follows: 1. The education for information science will be incorporated in library education. 2. The number of courses related to library services and uses will be increased. 3. The students should be provided with enough hands-on experiences to be familiar with new information technology. 4. The cooperation between library schools and libraries will be reinforced. 5. The departments of library science will cooperate with other departments in the universities in order to utilize the expertise and facilities. 6. The education of graduate schools will be specialized to produce subject specialist librarians and the undergraduate education will produce public and school librarians. 7. Opportunities for continuing education will be provided more and librarians encouraged to participate in those activities. 8. Library association should actively be involved in library education as a provider of continuing education or as a liaison between library schools and libraries. 9. The courses of foundations including library history, library research and preservation of culture will never be neglected.

정보사회를 맞이하여 교육정보화에 대한 많은 노력들이 기울여지고 있다. 특히 정보사회에서의 교원은 정보 통신 및 정보 처리 기술 등을 교수 학습활동, 학생관리, 학사 및 행정업무 등 제반 교육활동에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 정보활용능력에 대한 요구가 높아가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 교원들의 정보활용능력 향상을 위해 교육현장에서 꼭 필요한 정보기술분야를 교육내용으로 선정하여 원격연수자료를 개발하고, 교원들의 정보활용능력을 측정하기 위한 평가도구를 개발하여 급수를 부여하였다. 교원정보활용능력 급수제는 정보사회에 교원이 갖추어야할 정보활용능력에 대한 기준이 될 것이다.

This research, with the recent change in the paradigm of education, has its purpose on suggesting the direction of Japanese education that best suits the environment in Korea, by analyzing the education and information policy in Korea and Japan. As it is shown in Mackey's model, policy in language and education cannot be separated, and the 'smart education' policy as well as 'Education and Information Vision' that is implemented in Korea and Japan is likely to be connected with policies in language in the near future. Both of these policies has its goals on the spreading of information in education, and is predicted to lead to development in contents in regard to education of foreign language. When looking at recently developed smart-learning programs, it can be found that the credibility and authenticity is weak because in most of those programs, there was no participation of experts in Japanese education. Thus there is a need for expertise in Japanese education for development of these contents and also many attempts with application of 'smart-learning' collaboration of technology and academic knowledge in humanities and education is needed. At the same time, various support from the government is essential so that these policies can simultaneously work together, along with the field of foreign language education.

현실에서 경험하거나 당면하고 있는 실제적인 문제를 해결할 때 학습자는 학습의 의미를 느끼며 학습의 효과도 기대할 수 있다. 따라서 초등학교에서 일어날 수 있는 정보통신윤리교육 지도 상황에 따라 교사에게 필요한 자료들을 웹 상에서 제공하는 맞춤형 정보통신윤리교육 지원시스템을 개발하였다. 개발한 시스템에서는 정보통신윤리교육의 방법과 자료 및 그 활용 방법을 제공하고 있다. 시스템은 주제별로 맞춤형 자료를 제공함으로써 실제 상황에 적절한 정보통신윤리교육을 실시하는데 도움이 되었다. 또한 주제와 지원하는 자료의 적합 정도를 알려주어 다음 사용자가 자료를 선택하는데 도움이 되었으며, 교사의 지도 자료검색에 대한 부담을 덜어 주었다.

오늘날 행정, 금융 등의 일상 업무가 정보시스템 기반으로 운영되고, 국가‧공공‧민간기관 등을 대상으로 다양한 사이버 침해가 발생됨에 따라 기술적인 보안 대책뿐만 아니라 정보보호 전문 인력에 대한 사회적 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이에 교육부에서는 정보보호 우수 인재를 조기에 발굴하여 정보보호 전문성과 윤리의식을 겸비한 전문 인력을 양성하고자 2014년에 전국 4개 대학에 정보보호영재교육원을 설치하였다. 그러나 이미 오랫동안 운영되어 많은 연구가 이루어진 수학영재나 과학영재교육원에 비해 초기 운영단계인 정보보호영재교육원은 아직까지 체계적인 분석이나 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 전국 4권역 정보보호영재교육원의 현황을 운영, 선발, 교육 3분야로 나눠 분석하여 현재 운영체계의 부족한 부분을 도출하고 이를 토대로 향후 정보보호영재교육원이 효과적인 운영 및 인력양성을 위한 실질적인 프로그램을 구축할 수 있도록 개선방안을 제안한다.

The purposes of this research are, first, to investigate the present condition of indoor thermal environment in winter. Second, to find out how residents' knowledge, consciousness, and behavior changed after provided with education and information of indoor climate. Finally, to reveal how this changes make alteration to their indoor environment. Thirty apartments were collected, and then divided into three groups as Control Group, Education Group, and Edu-information Group in order to conduct the purposes. Provided education and environmental information turn out to have a positive effect to residents' knowledge, consciousness, and behavior, and consequently, it leads residents to control their indoor environment more actively in some cases. Thus, it is important to provide residents with environmental education and information, and it should be conducted regularly in order to maximize the positive effect of education since it tends to decrease as time goes by.

Half a century has passed since the academic field of library and information science, which was born at the end of the 19th Century in the Western world, was introduced to Korea. Despite years of quantitative growth and qualitative maturation, the field has been facing the inconvenient truths of discrepancies in education levels arising from varying education providers, and weakened public confidence in librarian certification. Based on analysis of librarian training and education programs and the certification system, this research seeks to point out the limitations of the national librarian certification system, which is losing public confidence, and present a model for improvement. Library and information science education has expanded from universities to the academy of librarian education and lifelong education centers, and the librarian certification system has emerged as a target of reform. This research presents measures to improve the librarian certification system to government bodies and the Committee on Library and Information Policy with the purpose of providing grounds for policy enforcement.

With the development of information and communication technology, information literacy and utilization are emerging as basic skills necessary for modern people. Accordingly, information education is becoming a basic literacy education for a nation. Unplugged computing is in the spotlight as a major educational method of information education. The main advantage of unplugged computing is that it is easy to convey basic theories or principles of computer science to students through play activities without the help of special information devices such as computers and tablet PCs. However, studies on student evaluation on unplugged computing have been very insufficient. In this study, students' evaluation standards are developed to maximize the educational effect of unplugged computing. The evaluation standards consist of four areas: participation, interest, satisfaction, and understanding of concepts. The results of this study can be used as a basic study for student evaluation of unplugged computing in the future.

정보사회의 문제점과 채팅의 역기능을 해결하기 위해서 교육적인 접근방안 모색의 필요성이 점차 증가하고 있다. 건강한 인격 형성과 그 과정이 자칫 훼손될 수 있는 초등학교 시기부터 정보통신윤리교육이 체계적으로 실시되어야 할 것이다. 이와 같은 문제의식에 기초하여 채팅 교육을 중심으로 우선 초등학교에서 실시하는 정보 통신윤리교육과정을 분석하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 정보통신윤리교육과정의 하위영역인 채팅교육에 적합한 교육목표와 지도내용을 추출하여, 초등학교 채팅교육에 적합한 웹 기반 학습자료를 설계하고 구현하여 수업에 적용한 결과 매우 효과적임이 입증되었다.

2015 소프트웨어 교육 운영지침의 기본 방향은 ICT 교육의 관점을 확장하여 학습자들이 문제를 해결하는 역량을 기르는 것으로 한다. 그러나 정작 이 지침에는 ICT 교육 내용이 포함되어있지 않다. 본 연구는 컴퓨터 활용교육을 위한 초등학교 정보윤리와 창작도구의 교육과정 모델을 개발하는 연구이다. 세계 여러 나라의 컴퓨터 교육과정에서 정보윤리와 창작도구 관련 교육과정을 조사하고 우리나라에 적절한 교육과정을 제안한다. 연구 결과로 초등학교 현장에서 바로 적용이 가능한 정보윤리와 창작도구에 대한 내용체계와 성취기준을 수준별 7단계로 제안한다.
