This study is to comparatively analyse the place names on "Cheonggu-do"("靑邱圖", manuscript edition, 1834) and "Daedongyeo-jido"("大東輿地圖", woodblock-edition, 1861). Though the same person-Kim, Jungho(金正浩)- published those maps, and the latter was based on the former map, place names on thos maps are very different. The hypothesis is that those different information on maps were not from the cartographic, but from the social aspects at that times. The whole township names on "Cheonggu-do" were erased in "Daedongyeo-jido". The other names such as mountain, river, port, castle, beacons, official waer houses were recorded instead of township. Especially military names which were recorded newly in "Daedongyeo-jido", such as castle, beacon, ranches for the defense of nation, was geographical distributed in a strategic and key point in the northern and coastal area. This shows that there were rules for the mapping of "Daedongyeo-jido" and those rules could be come from the social demand.

1. Objectives Nursing's meaning in Oriental medicine is prevention of disease more than treatment. The parts of defination are methods of non-medicine precisely, care of health and recuperation. 2. Methods This paper was written in order to understand of ${\ulcorner}$Dongyi Suse Bowon${\lrcorner}$ written in 1894(Old Edition} through the study to focus on the Sasang Constitutional nursing theory. 3. Results & Conclusions (1) Dialectic of Sasang Constitutional nursing are necessary to assesment about four fundamental factors (perspira­tion, defecation, digestion, urination). (2) Medicational guidance are different from character, dosage of medication, degree of disease, a poisonous drug etc. (3) Preservation of health are medication and food regimen. If 'Inherent vitality' is in a disadvantageous position, recuperation is first more than medication. The most important is protectional management. There are necessary about mind of 'liquor-sex- property-authority' & 'joy-anger- sorrow-pleasure'. It is the same application as nursing.

The purposes of this study are to review the historical development of food and culture in the KDC (Korean Decimal Classification) and to propose improvements of the KDC to classify materials of food and culture by using the KDC effectively. First of all, changes of classification numbers and headings related to food and culture from the 1st edition to the 5th edition of the KDC were examined. Recent books about food and culture were examined and were classified according to the latest edition of the KDC. Several problems were found including a lack of headings, including notes in food and culture, a lack of headings about Korean foods in particular and reflections about various foods from other countries, a lack of detailed relative headings, and the remaining western oriented headings. Other classification systems about food and culture were analyzed and it was found that there was a need to have new headings for classifying Korean traditional foods and table services, new formats for a relative index, detailed notes, and changes in western oriented headings.
