  • To be applied to electrical equipment HTSC tapes have to endure external stress and so on. The critical current density has been shown depending on the mechanical properties. strain and bending stress. AC loss reduction is primary concern in the development of such high-efficiency equipment. AC losses in Bi-2223 silver-sheathed tapes, both single and multi-filamentary, were investigated by means of AC magnetization techniques. The results were compared with the hysteresis loss equation based on Bean model and the eddy current loss equation. The AC loss of the mono-filamentary tape was the hysteresis. On the contrary, the AC loss of the multi-filamentary tape was substantially dominated by the eddy current loss in the Ag matrix.

  • The magnetic domain-refining techniques such as ball scratching, laser irradiation and plasma have been developed to reduce the domain wall spacing and thus iron losses in Fe-3%Si grain-oriented silicon steels. In view point of magnetic properties, it was supposed that the locally residual stresses change the magnetoelastic energy of the material and thus the spacing between $180^{\circ}$ domain walls decreases in order to reduce the magnetostatic energy. The effect of laser irradiation on iron loss and magnetostriction reduction for Fe-3%Si grain-oriented steel were investigated. Since the local tensile stresses were induced at the surface of Fe-3%Si steel by the laser irradiation, the minimum iron loss caused by reducing eddy current loss was obtained in spiete of the decrease of permeability by hindering eddy current loss was obtained in spite of the decrease of permeability by hindering the domain wall movement around the induced stress field. Furthermore, the laser treated 3%Si steel has lower magnetostriction as compared to non laser-treated steel and is less sensitive to applying pre-stresses due to the volume reduction of $90^{\circ}$ domain in materials.

  • SiO2-CaO-V2O5 3원계 첨가물을 함유한 Mn-Zn 페라이트 저손실의 주파수 및 온도 의존성에 대해 조사하고 주된 자기손실기구에 대해 고찰하였다. 연쇄고온합성법에 의해 MnO:ZnO:FeO=36:11:53mol% 조성의 페라이트를 제조하였다. 자기손실의 주파수 의존 결과로부터 저주파에서는 자기이력손실이 고주파에서는 와전류손실이 지배적임을 제시하였고, 고저항 첨가제에 의해 비저항이증가할수록 자기이력손실이 감소하였다. 순수 Mn-Zn 페라이트의 경우 자기 손실은 온도 증가에 따라 증가하였으나, 입계저항제가 첨가된 시편의 경우 와전류손실의 감소로 약 4$0^{\circ}C$에 서 자기손실의 최소치가 나타났다.

  • 집중권 방식의 견인용 영구자석 매입형 동기전동기(IPMSM)는 출력밀도의 관점에서 우수하나 심각한 영구자석 와전류 손실을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 영구자석 매입형 동기전동기의 자기적 특성을 분석하여 V-타입 회전자 영구자석의 각도와 폭을 변경함으로써 철손을 최소화하는 최적설계를 수행하였다. 자성체의 비선형성을 고려하기 위하여 자기등가회로법 대신 유한요소법을 이용하였으며, 각 파라메타가 영구자석에 발생하는 철손에의 영향 및 파라메타간의 교호작용을 파악하기 위하여 시뮬레이션 기반의 실험계획법을 사용하였다. 이를 통하여 모터의 성능을 유지하면서 철손을 상당히 줄인 집중권 방식의 영구자석 매입형 동기전동기의 최적설계를 반응표면법을 이용하여 도출하였으며, 유한요소법을 이용하여 이를 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 저주파 자기유도방식의 소형 단말기 충전 기술에 적용되고 있는 상용 코일에 적용 가능한 연자성체 기반 차폐구조를 설계하였다. 연자성 재료는 높은 투자율과 낮은 자기손실 특성 등 강점이 있는데 반해, 낮은 절연 특성으로 와전류에 의한 전력 손실이 큰 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 연자성 재료에 격자형태의 패턴을 구현하여 와전류 경로를 줄임으로써 전력 손실을 개선하였으며, 외부로 누설되는 자기장 저감 효과를 가진 차폐구조를 제안하였다. Qi 표준인 WPC 상용 A10 코일을 위한 연자성체 기반 차폐구조를 설계하였으며, 제작 및 측정을 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 구조가 효과적으로 누설 자기장을 저감할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • AC losses in multifilamentary HTS tapes can be classified to hysteresis loss, coupling loss, and eddy current loss from the viewpoint of their generation mechanism. From the viewpoint of the major magnetic field component generating them, they can be classified to magnetization loss, transport loss, and total loss. Dividing superconductor to fine filaments, twisting filaments bundle and increasing transverse resistivity are effectively reduce magnetization loss and total loss when the external magnetic field is relatively large. Recently, twisted multifilamentary Bi 2223 tapes with pure silver matrix were fabricated and the reduction of magnetization loss was proved experimentally in the parallel magnetic field to the tape wide face. However, when the perpendicular magnetic field is applied, increasing transverse resistivity is required essentially to reduce the AC losses. The transverse resistivity was increased successfully by the introduction of resistive barrier between filaments.

24MVA 몰드 변압기의 손실저감을 위한 Tie-Plate의 형상 최적설계 연구 (A Tie-plate Shape Optimization of 24MVA Cast Resin Transformer for Reduction of Stray Loss)

  • This paper presents a method to reduce the stray loss of core Tie-Plate of distribution power transformer. The method combines a 3-dimensional FEM with PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm to determine the shape of the Tie-Plate that minimizes eddy current and flux-leakage losses. To verify the method a 24MVA distribution(cast-resin) transformer was simulated using one objective function and two design variables with some constraints. The final optimized Tie-Plate has nine($3{\times}3$) slots of 10mm width, 15mm thickness and 25mm distance. After four iterations, the Tie-Plate loss was reduced to about 21 % of the original.
