This paper analyzes the impact of imposing carbon tax on the Seoul economy to reduce Greenhouse Gas(GHG) emission. We construct the social accounting matrix of Seoul, specifying energy and transport sectors which is closely related to air pollution. Then, we formulated the computable general equilibrium (CGE) model of seoul and performed scenario analysis. The main result shows that the economic cost of GHG reduction is quite large but the health benefit is also considerable. It also suggests the importance of cost effective measures such as the development of new energy technology and the improvement of energy efficiency.

The information technology, in the digital economy era, does a very important role not only for the country's administrative management innovation but also for the business and for the everyday life. Specifically, the e-business for the company or organization is defined as "using the Internet and IT, rescheduling of business process management activities to increase productivity and efficiency and to create new business opportunities." Thanks to the Korea's recent efforts, overall level of informatization and digitalization is able to receive high praise. But the e-business readiness (e-readiness) level is still expected a lot of room for improvement. In this paper, I try to analyze the informatization level of Korea's by the EIU's e-business readiness index and IT industry competitiveness index, to prepare a full-scale e-business era of global competitiveness through any preparation that could do to improve the situation from the analysis of statistical data.

Recently, the internal combustion engines have focused on reducing both the CO2 emissions in order to cope with severe regulations for greenhouse effect. Therefore, various new technologies have been developed in many countries. Among them, the cooling system is spotlighted because it has great effect on fuel efficiency. However, the present engine cooling system is almost same as one of the 50 years ago. The needs for high performance and compact size make it important to improve engine cooling system, down-sizing and control method of coolant flow. Thus, low fuel consumption technology such as control and synthetic management of cooling system was necessary to satisfy with these needs. In this study, we applied electric thermostat to improve the fuel economy. The fuel consumption was compared after driving FTP-75 mode on both conditions which were with a conventional wax thermostat and with a electric thermostat. The coolant temperature of opening the electric thermostat is higher.

These days Construction Industry is one of the major industry in public project and it has many problems. And Construction Industry highly respond to a chage of IT, politics, economy, domestic and international situation. And it causes an uncertainty in Korea economy. The goal of this paper is showing the efficiency application of BIM in Public Project. And this paper follow three steps. First, these day's trend of BIM and delivery method are researched. Second, major factors are thrived to appreciating BIM Third, delivery method based on BIM is proposed. Major factors of delivery method are researched to make guide line of delivery method in public project in the future.

Natural gas is one of the most promising alternative fuels for automative vehicles, because it has lower exhaust emissions and better fuel economy characteristics than gasoline and can be used in conventional engines with a little modification. In the present study, a conventional gasoline engine was modified to a CNG dedicated engine, which can be operated with CNG( compressed natural gas) only, and a engine bench test was performed at various compression ratios. As a result, it was revealed that the prototype CNG engine can be operated with lower exhaust emissions, better fuel economy and better thermal efficiency, but with a sightly reduced brake horse power, compared to the conventional gasoline engine.

This paper attempted to analyze impacts of transition in electricity generation system on a national economy and environmental level in Korea using a recursive computable general equilibrium(CGE) model. In particular, the paper presented a hybrid model combining the top-down CGE model with the bottom-up model which describes the structure of electricity production in detail. The impacts were analyzed by two policy scenarios base on the basic plan for electricity supply and demand proposed by the Korean government. As a result, the paper specifically showed that there exists a trade-off relationship in the policy-making between economic efficiency and environmental level. The paper also suggested that the transition in electricity generation system should be done more gradually and carefully.

Currently the automobile market is developing eco-friendly vehicles in order to cope with fuel efficiency regulations. Many studies have been conducted to improve travel performance and fuel economy of the environment-friendly vehicles, and vehicle manufacturers study how to manufacture light-weight vehicles for improving fuel economy for both existing vehicles and environment-friendly vehicles. Exemplary light-weight vehicle technologies include optimal design of vehicle body structure which is a light-weight vehicle method by changing component shapes or layout to optimize the vehicle body structure and the new process technology for using new light-weight and very strong materials Various studies.

The article identifies areas for effective management of innovative development. The competitiveness of the economy in the context of European integration and economic security is assessed. The level of innovative economy of some countries of the world is analyzed. The issue of attracting foreign investors to stimulate innovative production in Ukraine is raised. It is identified the need for the formation of an updated state policy capable of providing innovative development and improving the competitive position of the state in international rankings. Emphasis is placed on the need to form a critical mass of managers-civil servants capable of developing, implementing and monitoring the policy of innovative development of entrepreneurship.

How can we reconcile our aspirations for more economic growth or prosperity with the constraints of a finite planet? One of the high-income countries, Japan, makes us wonder if we can deal with two different challenges simultaneously: overcoming economic recession and solving environmental degradation. This study investigates the supply-side perspective which highlights the productive capacity and efficiency of the economy through economic lenses and the demand-side perspective which highlights the Japanese personal lifestyles through social lenses. This study aims to answer the question, if Japan's sustainable consumption behavior is counter to economic development whilst environmentally proactive. It finds that translating individual practices and cultures of sustainability into the macro- scopic economic growth path is key to a sustainable and healthy Japan.

The purpose of this study is to measure the productivity of fisheries in China's coastal areas (including inland and marine fisheries) and to analyze the factors influencing the development of fishery economy in each province by comparing regional differences. The input indicators used for efficiency analysis are fish farms, ships and staff numbers, and the output indicators are fish catch and net income. In this paper, we used six years of data from 2013-2018 and DEA-Malmquist index was used to analyze the efficiency of coastal fisheries production in 11 areas of China's coast. According to the analysis from 2013 to 2018, the fishery output efficiency in China's coastal areas has improved to some extent, but most provinces and regions are characterized by technological progress, and the technological efficiency still needs to be further improved. The conclusion can provide reference for the development planning and policy measures of regional fishery industry in China's coastal areas.
