성능기반설계에서의 요구성능의 개념 정의 및 필요성 (Introduction and Necessity of concept of Demand for Performance-Based Design)

  • 오늘날 많은 연구기관에서 구조물 설계에 관한 연구가 수행되고 있는 가운데 내진분야에서 처음으로 구조물에 대한 성능기반설계에 대한 기본개념이 제시되었다. 이후 여러 연구기관에서 성능기반설계를 수행하기 위해 사용자와 설계자 간의 의사소통을 원활히 이루어지게 하기 위해 요구성능에 대한 기준을 정립를 하였다. 성능기반설계는 구조물이 위치하게 될 지역적 특성이나 구조물의 특성에 따라 구조물에 발생될 수 있는 위험에 대한 정확한 분석과 구조물에 대한 사회적 경제적 환경적 영향에 대한 분석을 통하여 구조물에 요구되는 요구성능에 맞추어 구조물을 설계하여 공용기간동안 구조물에 대한 안전을 보장하는 설계방법이다. 구조물에 대한 정확한 요구성능을 파악하기 위해 성능수준 및 성능목표에 대한 정의가 필요하여 본 연구에서 성능기반설계를 수행하기 위해 ATC-40(2002), FEMA-273(1997), Eurocode(1998)에서의 요구성능기준에 관한 기초자료를 조사하였다.

  • In this paper, we aim to implement the embedded VoIP Phone based on EISC core Microcontroller. EISC is recently new microprocessor architecture, which contains both advantage of RISC and CISC. This advantages are desirably resulted in high code density, high performance and 16/32/64bit scalable instruction length. Also, we select the embedded system which can be guaranteed performance and economical efficiency for implementation that system. As the step of this research, we first study basic system for implementation of target system. Next, we construct the structure of embedded VoIP Phone based on 32bit EISC MCU efficiently. And then we realize that constructed system and verify the performance of that realized system by the test of voice communication in field.

간동맥 화학색전술을 받은 간암환자의 영양상태에 미치는 영향요인 (Influencing Factors of Nutritional Status among Liver Cancer Patients Receiving Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization(TACE))

  • Objectives : The purpose of this descriptive observational study was to identify the factors influencing the nutritional status of patients with liver cancer receiving transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) Methods : A total of 100 participants were enrolled in this study. Data were collected and descriptive statistics and logistic regression were performed. Results : Among participants, 41.0% had a risk of malnutrition and 59.0% had a normal nutritional status. Statistically significant differences between the normal and risk groups were found for the following factors: occupation; economical status; regular exercise; underlying disease; adverse events right after TACE; current adverse events; duration after TACE; depression; and self-care performance. Underlying disease(OR=5.134, p=.005) and self-care performance(OR=0.931, p=.032) had statistically associated with nutritional status. Conclusions : The findings suggest that underlying disease and self-care performance influence the nutritional status among liver cancer patients receiving transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE).

  • The electric power industry throughout the world is undergoing considerable changes from the vertically integrated utility structure to the deregulated market. However, the deregulated electricity market is operated with respect to theory of economical efficiency, and therefore, the system operator requires data with fast contingency ranking for security of the bulk power system. This paper compares the weather dependant probabilistic risk index(PRI) with the system performance index for power flow in the IEEE-RTS. The system performance index for power flow presents the power system stability. This paper presents fast calculation method for determining contingency ranking using the weather dependant probabilistic risk index(PRI). The probabilistic risk index can be classified into the case of normal and adverse weather. This paper proposes calculation method using the probabilistic risk index in determining contingency ranking required for security under the deregulated electricity market.

  • Pusher-Loaded Scrapers are important construction equipment for large earthmoving operations. Production rates of a Pusher-Loaded Scraper vary greatly in accordance with the temperature or elevation, the equipment performance, haul speed, haul-road conditions, the method of loading, and Number of scrapers per one pusher. Determining of most economical scrapers fleet regarding the size of equipment, model name, and number of scrapers demands time-consuming calculation because it needs to reference of varied performance charts or tables and repeat complicated calculation. In this study, decision-making support system for the Optimal Pusher-loaded Scrapers Fleet is suggested for the purpose of calculating easily and handling effectively variables which are changed depend of the work conditions. The prototype of this program is developed using MATLAB. And the Database of Pusher-loaded Scraper embodies Performance chart & Retarder chart, soil properties, and calculation-support table.

인젝터 컨트롤러의 개발 (Development of Injector Controller)

  • 본 논문에서는 경제적이고, 채널 확장성이 용이하며, 다양한 성능시험에 대응이 가능한 솔레노이드 타입의 인젝터 컨트롤러를 연구 개발하고 그 성능을 평가하였다. 개발된 컨트롤러는 임베디드 시스템에 기반을 두고 있으며, 인젝터에서 고압으로 분사되는 연료의 분사 타이밍 및 분사량에 대한 정밀제어는 물론 솔레노이드의 전기적인 특성을 측정하여 인젝터의 성능평가도 가능하다. 또한, 부가적으로 인젝터의 분무 형태를 정밀하게 촬영할 수 있는 광원과 초고속 카메라의 정밀시간제어도 동시에 가능하도록 하였다.

  • Fibers are increasingly being used for the reinforcement of cementitious matrix to enhance the toughness and energy absorption capacity and to reduce the cracking sensitivity of the matrix. In the past decade, high performance fiber reinforced cementitious composite(HPFRCC) have evolved with intensified research. HPFRCC for structural applications has been developed under the performance driven design approach. It is the aim of this study to obtain development of hybrid-HPFRCC using polypropylene fibers and polyethylene fibers. It was targeted the requirement of economical mixing and application to structure member.

  • Recently, single shell lining method of construction is studied by economical method of construction to make use of high-performance shotcrete of permanent shotcrete lining concept in the UStA, Europe, Japan etc. High-performance shotcrete use is essential as permanent support that single shell lining method of construction has two functions of lining and support to shotcrete. In this research, optimum accelerator amount was decided after setting time test using alkai-free and cement mineral accelerator. Also replacement ratio of silica fume and fly-ash was determined.

  • PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) is a low temperature fuel cells which are high efficient and clean energy. But it has many problems like economical efficiency or durability. Because of this reason, many researchers challenge various view points. One of challenge is the flow channel design and many researchers develop new flow channel design. In addition to most of them have the anode and cathode's flow channel overlapped almost perfectly. In this case, the electrochemical reaction is almost done by the inertial force of flow. So we study on the effect of the anode and cathode's flow channel which aren't overlapped perfectly, have more diffusion effect, to PEMFC performance using CFD.

LNG-디젤 혼소엔진의 성능 및 실차 적용성 연구 (A Study on Vehicle Application and Performance of LNG-Diesel Dual Fuel Engine)

  • The electronically controlled diesel engine was converted to dual fuel engine system. Test engine was set up for investigating the power output, thermal efficiency and emissions. ND 13-mode tests were employed for the engine test cycle. The emission result of dual fuel mode meets Euro-4 (K2006) regulation and the engine performance of dual fuel engine was comparable to the performance of diesel engine. To estimate economical efficiency, test vehicles have been operated on a certain driving route repeatedly. Fuel economy, maximum driving distance per refueling and driveability were examined on the road including free ways. Developed vehicle can be operated over 500 km with dual fuel mode and shows 80% of diesel substitution ratio. Driveability of dual fuel mode is similar with that of diesel mode.
