A Study of Estimation of Social-Economic Impacts Caused by Development of A Golf Course in Rural Area (골프장개발이 농촌지역에 미치는 사회경제적 영향에 대한 예측연구 - 거창군 신원면 감악산 골프장개발 모델을 대상으로 -)

  • This study is purposed to a ripple effects of development of a golf course in rural area analyzed to site suitability, social impact of public opinions, and economical impact. And for study, it is setting up development model of gamaksan golf course in geochang-gun will be constructed. It is carried out those as follows;(1) it is, first of all, examined site suitability considering act and site factors, opinion of residence's, and development planning of geochang-gun;(2) it is, secondly, suggested to analyzed social-economic impacts in rual area;(3) it is, finally, established an alternative proposal for development of a golf course considering it's merits and faults. The result of study, A appropriateness of development planning in golf course is focused to 'regional planning integrated', 'educational program for It's', and 'development council committee' considering harmony of a specialist, residents, government employee, businessman for a identity of interests.

A Study on the Bus Operation Management and Transport Strategy (버스운행관리 및 수송전략에 관한 연구)

  • The bus should supply an equal service to the whole community as feeder trip. However the existing bus route can not supply an effective feeder service in spite of the changes in the latent demand by the variety of regional structural change. This study aimed to establish the concept which frames the bus operation and management to cope with the latent demand to the bus. This study tackled this evidence by analyzing the transportation problems in terms of the urban growth emphasizing the following issues ; First, the strategy to improve the bus operation Second the land use control appropriate for the public transportation network Third economical range to justify the bus operation Second, the land use control appropriate for the public transportation network Third, economical range to justify the bus operation Fourth, the allowance for the private transportation mode On the latter part, the difference on the bus operation was compared to determine the range within which the bus operation could be justified. This study would provide some implications to improve the management for bus operation and fundamental information to develop the bus operation system.

  • As power demand increases gradually, the call for underground transmission system increases. But it is very difficult and high in cost to construct new ducts and/or tunnels for power cables in metropolitan areas. HTS (High Temperature Superconducting) cable has the several useful characteristics such as increased power density. Therefore HTS cable can allow more power to be moved in existing ducts, which means very large economical and environmental benefits. In this paper, we carried out investigation for Application of 22kV class HTS cable in Korean utility networks. The results show that the HTS cable is applicable to replace IPB in pumping-up power plant, withdrawal line in distributed generation, withdrawal line in complex power plant, and conventional under ground cable. Finally, as the cost of HTS wire and refrigeration drops, the technical and economical potential of HTS cable is evaluated positively.

  • Although the carbonation problem of high-volume slag concrete has been solved by the mixed use of emulsified refine cooling oil as the pilot study, there was an instance of securing air quantity and frost resistance followed by the use of Expancel due to the problem of having vulnerability in frost resistance in result as the air quantity has not been secured. But due to the problem of Expancel not being economical, air quantity and frost resistance of high-volume slag concrete mixed with ERCO are attempted to be secured using micro bubble that can remain in the water for a long time as a relatively economical and very microscopic bubble.

  • Although there are many applications with gypsum board because of its economical and construction advantages, four-layer construction technique, (hollow area between two-layer panel sets) is the general case to achieve the insulation, and resistance of horizontally applied force. Since this construction method has many problems such as complicate construction steps and increased cost, it is needed that the two-layer panel for improved construction and economical advantage for lightweight pane: thick panel with favorable performances. Therefore, in this research, based on the ALC panel with 10 to 30mm depth, feasibility of the paper reinforced panel as a lightweight wall material. As a result, favorable performance with increased flexural strength were achieved with paper reinforcement.

  • The standard deviation is constant in the progress of Powder Injection Filling, The setting value of the filling amount can modify the numerical rate. Since high level of the numerical rate can get the effect of reducing the material cost, it improves the productivity by permitting the possibility of the economical production. Consequently, this thesis analyzed and suggests the numerical model which consider the economical factors of the Powder Injection Shaping progress, and I try to reinforce the competitive powder of the domestic medicine manufacture industry which face the wave of globalism and evolutionism.

  • Prestressed concrete girder(PSC girder) bridges have been used widely at the railway as well as highway because they are great in the functional and economical efficiency. Also they have the advantage of convenience of design and construction. Generally, the PSC girder railway bridges with span length 25m are adopted in the country and it could be easily verified that the section of PSC girder using railway bridge is excessive design, which has much redundancy against design loads. Thus, in this paper the optimum design for PSC girder railway bridge with span length 30m is performed. And from the results of analysis it is suggested to denote the optimum section which satisfies the structural safety and economical efficiency all together.

  • In recent railroad markets, the use of steel sleepers is gradually increased due to various advantages in resistance for impact as well as economical efficiency for production, construction. maintenance and recycle. The typical steel sleepers which are successfully used in railroad markets are n-type of Corus Inc. in England and Y-type of ThyssenKrupp Gft Gleistechnik in Germany. Both types have merits and demerits in safety and economical efficiency. In 1990, n-type steel sleeper was developed in Korea, but was failed in putting into practical use, due to the subsidence into the ballast by Jive loads and welding crack, etc.. In this paper, in order to develop optimal shape of n-type steel sleepers for domestic rail mads, parametric studies for cross section, thickness, are performed.

  • This paper describes the economic evaluation of battery energy storage system(BESS) for the domestic application. Application target is decided on conventional combined cycle of domestic and we analyzed economics that compared conventional combined cycle with power generation cost in development and the commercialized in case that establish it on utility and customer, urban and rural. The result shows that about the same conventional combined cycle of Anyang, Bundang and Pyungtak but more economical than seoincheon conventional combined cycle. And, in case of capacity enlargment and using the maintenance free battery more economical than conventional system.

  • After many casualties with conventional bulk carriers in recent years, double hull bulk carrier was proposed ta enhance the structural safety of side shell and transverse bulkhead. In this paper, two alternative structural designs of double hull bulk camel were executed based an the Lloyd's rule, and the results were examined in comparison with the existing single hull bulk carrier in the viewpoints of the increase of weight and construction cost. The relative construction concept was used to certify the economical validity of double hull bulk carrier.
