에코캠퍼스 대학생의 환경의식과 행동이 에코투어리즘 참여의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Eco Campus Students' Environmental Consciousness and Behaviors on Eco-tourism Participation Intention)

  • 본 연구는 에코캠퍼스 대학생들의 환경의식과 환경행동 실태를 파악하고 이러한 요인들이 에코투어리즘 참여의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 에코투어리즘의 개념을 이해하는 에코캠퍼스 재학생들을 대상으로 직접 설문을 실시하여 요인분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 에코캠퍼스 대학생들의 환경의식요인은 환경의지, 환경관심, 환경지식 3가지로 나누어졌고, 환경행동요인은 친환경구매행동, 사용행동, 절약행동요인으로 나누어졌다. 환경의식요인들은 환경행동요인 각각에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 환경의식요인 중 환경관심요인은 환경행동 3가지 요인 모두에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 환경의지요인은 구매행동에 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤고, 환경관심요인은 사용행동에, 환경지식요인은 절약행동에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타남에 따라 이는 향후 친환경 행동들을 실행하기 위한 환경의식교육의 기초자료가 될 것으로 기대된다. 또한 에코캠퍼스 대학생들은 환경친화적 관광활동인 에코투어리즘 참여의도에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 환경의지요인과 환경구매행동요인이 에코투어리즘 참여의도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Purification and Characterization of an Extracellular ${\beta}$-Glucosidase Produced by Phoma sp. KCTC11825BP Isolated from Rotten Mandarin Peel

  • A ${\beta}$-glucosidase from Phoma sp. KCTC11825BP isolated from rotten mandarin peel was purified 8.5-fold with a specific activity of 84.5 U/mg protein. The purified enzyme had a molecular mass of 440 kDa with a subunit of 110 kDa. The partial amino acid sequence of the purified ${\beta}$-glucosidase evidenced high homology with the fungal ${\beta}$- glucosidases belonging to glycosyl hydrolase family 3. Its optimal activity was detected at pH 4.5 and $60^{\circ}C$, and the enzyme had a half-life of 53 h at $60^{\circ}C$. The $K_m$ values for p-nitrophenyl-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside and cellobiose were 0.3 mM and 3.2 mM, respectively. The enzyme was competitively inhibited by both glucose ($K_i$=1.7 mM) and glucono-${\delta}$-lactone ($K_i$=0.1 mM) when pNPG was used as the substrate. Its activity was inhibited by 41% by 10 mM $Cu^{2+}$ and stimulated by 20% by 10 mM $Mg^{2+}$.

트랙터용 경제운전 안내장치 개발 (Development of Eco Driving System for Agricultural Tractor)

  • In this study, we tried to predict tractor power output, fuel consumption rate and work performance indirectly in order to develop an eco driving system. Firstly, we developed equations which could predict tractor power output and fuel consumption rate using characteristic curves of tractor power output. Secondly, with actual engine rpm determined by initial engine rpm and work load, tractor power output and fuel consumption rate were forecasted. Thirdly, with speed signals of GPS sensor system, it was possible to foresee tractor work performance and fuel consumption rate. Lastly, precision of the eco driving system was evaluated through tractor PTO test, and effects of the eco driving system were investigated in the plowing and rotary tilling operations. Engine rpm, power output, fuel consumption rate, work performance and fuel consumption rate per plot area were displayed in the eco driving system. Predicted tractor power outputs in the full load curve were well coincided with the actual power output of prototype, but small differences, 1 to 6 ㎾, were found in the part load curve. Error of the fuel consumption rate was 0.5 L/h, 4.5%, the greatest, and 1 to 3 L/h at the part load curve. It was shown that 69% and 53% of fuel consumption rates could be reduced in plowing and rotary tilling operations, respectively, when the eco driving system was installed in tractor.

  • This paper presents the numerical analysis of process of sludge drying to know the characteristics of design parameters and develop the new process plant. Finite volume method and $k-{\varepsilon}$ turbulence model were used to analogy the sludge drying furnace. It has been attempted to perform the disposal of sewage sludge such as simple reclaiming and dumping in sea and incineration. Currently, these methods are restricted by national or international government regulations. The drying process is adopted as an effective method for sewage sludge treatment. However sewage sludge makes it difficult to treat with a large volume at the real drying process plant because of its own complicated physical, chemical, and thermal properties. The final design value of moisture content with 10% of the dried sludge can be obtained through the simulated outputs in this study.

  • The world has faced with various environmental problems such as climatic change, global pollution, and depletion of natural resources. Conventional economic development continues not only to intensify the magnitude of the problems but also to damage growth potential of future generations. Therefore, recent manufacturers are highly required to accommodate themselves to sustainable development that aims at preventing the loss to the future generations. Moreover, the manufacturers are under heavy pressure from various environmental regulations. This paper proposes green bill of material (Green-BOM) which conforms to the environmental regulations to restructure eco-friendly manufacturing system. Green-BOM is useful for managing green product and process information to satisfy several environmental regulations by recording energy consumption, recycle rate, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), substance information, and so on.

포항 산업단지 부산물 발생 및 산업공생 네트워크 현황 (Current Status of By-products Generation and Industrial Symbiosis Network in Pohang, South Korea)

  • 본 연구는 포항철강산업단지를 대상으로 부산물 발생 현황과 현재까지 구축된 산업공생 네트워크를 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 포항은 경상북도 시군 중 사업장 폐기물 발생량과 재활용 제외 폐기물 발생량이 모두 가장 높았으며, 대부분이 포항철강산업단지에서 발행하였다. 부산물 발생량을 조사한 결과 재활용을 제외한 폐기물 발생량의 대부분은 광재류가 차지하고 있으며 폐목재류, 분진류, 폐합성수지, 폐합성고무의 순으로 나타났다. 포항철강산업단지 입주기업간 구축된 부산물 거래 공생맵을 작성한 결과 부산물 중 폐내 화물 및 슬래그를 이용한 부산물 거래가 가장 활발하게 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다.

자원 순환형 산업개발의 유형 연구 (A Study on the Current Practice in Eco-Industrial Development)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국에서 생태적 산업개발을 추진할 경우에 선택할 수 있는 유형을 제시하고 있다. 즉, (1) 다양한 업종으로 구성된 생태산업단지 또는 생태산업 네트워크, (2) 클러스터와 제로 에미션 개념의 결합에 의한 부산물 교환 시스템, (3) 동종 산업으로 구성된 산업 단지에서의 제로 에미션 추구, (4) 포괄적인 지역개발 프로젝트로서의 EID 등이다. 국내에서 자원순환형 경제개발 정착을 위한 우선적 과제는 산업체들로 하여금 현재의 관행을 벗어나서 다른 기업과의 공생적 관계를 적극 모색하여 부산물교환을 촉진하는 제도적 여건을 조성하는 것, 산업체들이 부산물 활용 네트워크를 조직하는데 필요한 자금지원과 인센티브 도입, 부산물 교환을 위한 시장의 창출에 기여하는 정보네트워크의 구성, 산업체의 환경관련 교육 강화 등이다.

Engineering Properties of Eco-Permeable Polymer Concretes Using Blast Furnace Slag Powder and Stone Dust

  • Permeable polymer concrete can be applied to roads, sidewalks, river embankments, drain pipes, conduits, retaining walls, yards, parking lots, plazas, interlocking blocks, etc. This study was to explore a possibility of using blast furnace slag powder and stone dust of industrial by-products as fillers for Eco-permeable polymer concrete. Different mix proportions were tried to find an optimum mix proportion of the Eco­permeable polymer concrete. The tests were carried out at $20{\pm}1^{circ}C$ and $60{\pm}2\%$ relative humidity. At 7 days of curing, unit weight, coefficient of permeability, dynamic modulus of elasticity, compressive, flexural and splitting tensile strengths ranged between $1,821{\~}1,955 kg/m^{3}$, $0.056{\~}0.081\;cm/s$, $114{\times}0^{2}{\~}157{\times}10^{2}\;MPa,\;17.6{\~}24.7\;MPa,\;5.98{\~}7.94\;MPa\;and\;3.43{\~}4.70\;MPa$, respectively. It was concluded that the blast furnace slag powder and stone dust can be used in the Eco-permeable polymer concrete.

  • Environmental problems were related to human life from second industrial revolution. Recently, peoples are interested in solving global warming problem and improving air quality. Therefore, we request for eco-friendly vehicles such as fuel cell electric vehicles using eco-friendly hydrogen energy. In order to reduce particulate matter in Korea, we have established a plan to promote the deployment of eco-friendly vehicles. In this paper, we analyzed the average monthly charging status and hydrogen consumption by introducing fuel cell bus.
