에너지시설에 관한 친환경 메시지 디자인이 대학생의 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Message Design Related to Photovoltaic Energy on University Students' Attitude)

  • This research aims to identify the effect of message design on university students' attitude toward the BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) and find out its educational availability and implications in environment education. For this purpose, we conducted a survey on questionnaires answered by 244 students of S university at lunch time in the school restaurant with the imaginary scenario that it is required to increase the food price due to photovoltaic-equipment. The students were divided into 9 groups and according to whether the eco-friendly message components are offered and the different rate of a rise in the foods' price. In order to look over various aspects of attitudes, the questionnaires are subdivided into 2 parts according to the classification of attitudes; the preference as an cognitive-affective attitude and the intention of visit as an behavioral attitudes. The results of this study are summarized as follows; (1) The eco-friendly message design has a significant effect on students' attitude. (2) If given explanation including information regarding eco-friendly facility and marking eco-friendly' adject, it has an positive influence on students' preference and intention of visit. (3) It is more effective to offer the information about the reason why the cost increase than just explain the eco-friendly characteristics of object as the message design strategy to attract student's positive attitude. (4) Although it is required to burden a certain scale of cost, students show higher preference and intention of visit if given the eco-friendly message design.

  • 국내외 매년 지속적으로 증가하는 대기오염의 상당량이 선박에서 배출되고 있으며, 이러한 선박에서의 배출량을 감축하기 위해 정부는 환경규제를 강화하고 해양대기환경 개선을 위해 「환경친화적 선박의 개발 및 보급 촉진에 관한 법률」을 제정 및 시행하여 친환경 에너지를 동력원으로 사용하는 환경친화적 선박을 보급하여 해양오염 저감 기술이 개발되도록 하고 있다. 환경친화적 선박의 기술은 최근 순수 전기추진 내지는 전기복합 추진체계까지 진화하고 있으나, 선박의 안전한 운용을 위한 검사 및 설비기준 등 관련제도의 정비는 이를 못 따라가는 실정으로, 특히 국내 연안선박의 다수를 차지하는 어선에 대한 제도는 정비가 시급한 시점이다. 이번 연구를 통해 어선에의 전기복합 추진체계 등의 적용을 위해 핵심기자재인 배터리, 전력변환장치 등을 정의하고 이에 필요한 안전기준을 진단, 마련하여 친환경 어선의 도입과 보급을 위해 관련된 산업을 지원할 수 있도록 최소한의 안전기준안을 마련하고자 한다.

  • Cadmium selenide is one of the group IIb-VI compounds, which is the promising semiconductor material due to its wide range of technological applications in optoelectronic devices such as photoelectrochemical cells, solid state solar cells, thin film photoconductors etc. CdSe has optical band gap of 1.7-1.8eV and proper conduction band edge for water splitting. CdSe films are coated with small thickness(20-50nm) nanocrystalline $TiO_2$ film by electrodeposition or chemical bath deposition methods and PEC properties of CdSe and CdSe/$TiO_2$ sandwich structure are studied. The photoactivity of CdSe and CdSe/$TiO_2$ films deposited on titanium substrate is studied in aqueous electrolyte of 1M NaOH solution. Photocurrent and photovoltage obtained were of the order of 2-4 mA/$cm^2$ and 0.5V, respectively, under the intensity of illumination of 100 mW/$cm^2$.

학교건축의 친환경적 계획수법에 대한 사례연구 - 미국, 일본, 한국의 학교건축을 중심으로 - (A Study on Examples of Eco-Friendly School Design - Focusing on School Facilities in USA, Japan and Korea -)

  • This study aims to identify differences and lessons in eco-school planning techniques and sustainable design methods by analyzing comparatively green building certification system and the cases of sustainable schools in US, Korea and Japan. As a result of the comparative analysis, green building certification system for school facilities, both domestic and international, is categorized into external environment, energy, materials and resources, and indoor environment. From the case study, it is common that roof garden and biotopes are installed for external environment, while energy saving, passive energy utilization methods for natural lighting and ventilation such as arrangement planning, courtyard, top-light, shading devices, solar panel and insulation by roof garden are most frequently used. Also, storm water uses, water saving equipment and sustainable materials are often introduced for resource savings. Concerns for indoor environment is frequently addressed by introducing natural light and ventilation in the buildings, which makes ultimately a comfortable space.

용액연소법으로 제조한 LaFeO3의 XPS 특성 (X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy Study of LaFeO3 Powders Synthesized by Solution Combustion)

  • [ $LaFeO_3$ ] powders were synthesized using a method involving solution combustion, and the surface properties of these powders were examined by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. As the amount of fuel increased during the synthesis, the $LaFeO_3$ powders became amorphous with a large plate-like shape. It was found that the O 1s spectra were composed of two types of photoelectrons by deconvolutioning the spectra. Photoelectrons with higher binding energy come from adsorbed oxygen ($O^-$) whereas those with lower energy come from lattice oxygen ($O^{2-}$). The ratio of adsorbed and lattice oxygen increased as the ratio of the fuel and nitrate (${\Phi}$) increased. The binding energy of both types of oxygen increased as ${\Phi}$ increased due to the formation of carbonates.

친환경자동판매기의 국내 대학교 에너지 소비 개선 효과 - 수도권 대학을 중심으로 - (Empirical Research of Energy Saving based on Measurement of The Consumed Power of University's Electric Vending Machine)

  • This study measured the amount of electricity consumed by the vending machines installed on campus and aim to come up with measures to address excessive consumption of electricity. We chose 10 universities located in the city of Seoul and Gyeonggi province and measured electricity consumption of 10 vending machines installed in each university. We then calculated annual electricity consumption of the machines based on previously calculated electricity consumption of 100 samples. According to the result of the calculation, it is estimated that the machines studied on consume 700 KWh a year. This amount could translate into approximately 3,000 tons of annual carbon emissions and 640 million KRW in annual electricity bills. It was also found that there is a significant difference between ordinary vending machines and machines certified for being eco-friendly and energy efficient, in terms of electric power consumption. It is expected that, if the ordinary machines are replaced with the eco-friendly and high-efficient machines, 640 KWh of electricity, 300 kg of carbon, and 61,640 KRW in electricity bills would be saved, which means 28% saving in energy, emissions and bills. In conclusion, we determined that, as one of the ways to reduce electric power consumption and carbon emissions, old vending machines on campus could be replaced with eco-friendly and high-efficient machines.

건설시설물 친환경VE 의사 판단 모델 NIA 제안 (A Proposal of NIA Model for Eco VE Decision of Construction Facilities)

  • 우리나라 경제성장의 핵심 원동력이었던 건설업은 오늘날 환경부하량 배출이 가장 많은 산업으로 류되고 있다. 이에 건설업은 친환경을 실현하고자 많은 노력을 기울였지만 그 효과는 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구는 사업 초기단계에서 친환경 VE가 적용이 가능하면 건설업의 친환경 효과가 클 것이라 판단되기에 발주자의 친환경 VE 의사를 파악 할 수 있는 NIA 모델을 개발 후 시뮬레이션 하였다. 경북북부권 환경에너지 종합타운 조성 민간사업의 제안 보고서를 기반으로 친환경 VE 의사를 묻는 20문항을 시뮬레이션 한 결과 50%의 친환경 의사가 있음을 도출 할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 친환경 VE 의사를 도출하기 위하여 설문조사를 한 후 NIA를 활용하여 건설 초기단계에서 친환경적인 설계를 위한 의사결정시 판단자료로 제공 될 수 있을 것이다.

생태도시의 비용편익분석 -김포양촌의 생태시설을 중심으로- (Benefit-Cost Analysis of Ecological City -Focusing on Eco-facilities of New Town in Kimpo Yangchon-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 김포양촌 신도시를 대상으로 조성될 생태시설로써 조류생태공원, 에코센터, 생태하천과 생태수로 등에 대한 비용편익을 추정함으로써 그 경제적 타당성을 분석하고자 함이다. 본 연구는 최초로 생태 친화적 신도시개발의 경제성분석을 시도하였다. 생태시설에 대한 모든 시나리오에서 B-C비율은 1을 넘었다. 특히 에코센터의 편익/비용 비율이 5.02-3 75로 가장 높았다. 네 가지 생태시설의 건설비용이 50%증가를 가정한 경우에도 경제적 타당성을 유지하였다. 본 연구는 신도시 건설을 할 경우 생태적 다양성을 갖추는 것이 주거단지조성의 핵심요소임을 시시하고 주택건설의 방향이 탄소배출제로 및 에너지 효율화와 조화된 방향으로 추진될 것을 제안한다.

회귀분석을 이용한 반월 공단배수의 생태독성 원인물질 조사 (Investigation of Eco-toxicological Substances in Banwol Industrial Drainages using the Regression Analysis)

  • In this study, water quality and acute toxicity using Daphnia magna were analyzed to investigate the eco-toxicological substances identified as statistical analysis and propose a management plan for the effluent of Banwol industrial complex, Ansan, Gyeonggi-do. Cu, Zn, F, Mn concentrations in the effluent far exceeded the US standards to protect the aquatic ecosystem and eco-toxicity values were 5 ~ 22 TU. However, concentrations of heavy metals significantly decreased after Ansan public wastewater treatment plant operating a biological treatment and toxicity values were 0 TU. Zn, Cr, F and Cu in the effluent showed very strong and strong positive correlations with eco-toxicity values, respectively. Regression analysis resulted in an equation between toxicity and Zn, TU = $4.884{\times}Zn$ (mg/L) -0.391 showing Zn concentration should be managed less than 0.285 mg/L to keep the eco-toxicity (TU) less than 1.
