This study investigates the present status and development of e-marketplace which is the most actively used in the e-trade stages from market research, searching for business partners, negotiations to contract. It also shows the present status and development of e-marketplace as an "e-trading company" designated by government, which gives prospect of profitable model of e-marketplace. Especially focused on EC21 - the best e-marketplace of Korea, this study views present status and development of EC21 and trading companies applied for EC21, government designated e-trading company, to receive electronic trading support services. In addition, we hope that the findings of this study will be a helpful material to government for making policy and framing supporting project toward leading organizations of e-trade such as Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, e-trade promotion committee of Korea International Trade Association and small-ta-medium companies interested in e-trade, to activate e-trade.

정보화 사회에서 개인의 프라이버시와 국가 차원의 보안의 균형있는 발전은 매우 중요한 과제이며, 1997년 3월 국제 경제개발 협력기구(OECD)는 암호기능을 적용하기 위한 정책인 ‘OECD 암호정책’을 수립하였으며, 이 지침의 특기할 점은 암호화된 데이터를 국가 등의 제 3자가 강제적으로 해독하는 것을 인정하였다는 것이다. 이러한 OECD 암호정책은 공공의 안전성 확보에 필요한 조치임과 동시에 개인 프라이버시 침해의 위험을 내포한 암호정책으로 세계를 상대로한 CALS/EC 산업에 이러한 기술이 표준화되어 적용될 가능성이 높기 때문에 향후 국내의 CALS/EC 보안 서비스 제공시 중요한 지침이 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 CALS/EC 보안 서비스를 실현하기 위하여 연구 개발해야 할 보안 기술 중 암호문의 강제 해독 기술 및 인중 기술을 포함한 보안 프레임워크를 제안한다.

EC(Electronic Commerce) which is done on the virtual space through Internet has strong point like independence from time and space. On the contrary, it also has weak point like security problem because anybody can access easily to the system due to open network attribute of Internet, Therefore, we need the solutions that protect the EC security problem for safe and useful EC activity. One of these solutions is the implementation of strong cipher system. YK2(Young Ku King) cipher system proposed in this paper is good solution for the EC security and it overcome the limit of current block cipher system using 128 bits key length for input, output, encryption key and 32 rounds. Moreover, it is designed for the increase of time complexity by adapting more complex design for key scheduling algorithm regarded as one of important element effected to encryption.

The three main purposes of this paper are to (1) identify critical success factors(CSFs) for electronic commerce(EC), (2) investigate the explanatory power of these CSFs on firm performance, and (3) compare differences in evaluating CSFs and explaining impact of CSFs on performance among Korea, Japan, and U.S.A. EC firms. Through a literature review and interviews with managers in EC firms, a list of 16 CSFs consisting of 111 items was compiled. In the second stage, questionnaires were administered to managers of EC companies in Seoul, Korea, Tokyo, Japan, and Texas, U.S.A. Survey results show that CSFs have very significant explanatory power for firm performance in Korea, Japan, and U.S.A. While security, privacy, technical expertise, information about goods/services, and variety of goods/services are the most explanatory CSFs in Korea and Japan, evaluation of EC operations, technical expertise, and ease of use show most explanatory power in U.S.A. In general, respondents in Korean and Japan evaluate CSFs quite differently compared to U.S.A counterparts.

Although it is not easy to generate EC's (Engineering Characteristics), there have been few studies so far. In this paper, a systematic method for generating EC candidates is proposed. This method use the concept of 'attribute listing'. In the proposed method, customer attributes are divided into their objects and issues. And attributes from their objects and issues are generated by help of guidelines proposed, respectively. Then, measurable metrics are attained from those attributes. Finally, the metrics result in EC candidates by consistency and redundancy check. This paper gives an illustrative example for easy comprehension of the proposed method.

Second, the Matrix classification standard of ACE(Attribute Categorization Evaluation) is presented using KANO model on difference analysis of importance and satisfaction through questionnaire from customers. This is for reflecting the diverse EC which customers want in EC quality sufficiently. Also, establishing sales point will be helpful in business strategy through presenting types that are able to decide planning quality. Third, the important measure of EC about correlation among quality characteristics and a new weight of EC are calculated depending on importance of EC and the weight of customer attribute and materials of relationship matrix through correlation matrix analysis.

In case of calculation of an immediate deflection according to EC2, a curvature and average curvature are calculated by reflecting tension stiffening effect. In this study, tension stiffening effects according to MC90 and EC2 were considered, and an immediate deflection was calculated. And also, it was compared to results in KCI provision and experimental data. In results, it has difference around 8~15% with respect to tension stiffening effect, but all of them predict well for the load-deflection behavior after yielding state.

There are numerous researches being studied regarding Electronic Commerce (EC), that is one of the hottest issues for the 21 century in the various areas such as management, engineering and science; etc, This paper concerns the logistics functions which are essential for completing a commerce process even under the EC environment. Even though both the traditional and the electronic commerce via internet share many common problems regarding logistics, new logistical issues are generated as the EC is being popularized. We study the logistics competitiveness under the EC environment and provide ways to improve the logistical performance. We first point the emerging logistical paradigm to check the issues under EC. Next, logistics competitiveness factors are provided. Finally we propose several ways for the logistical performance and cost perspective.

Since the internet is open to public in 1990, electronic commerce(EC) user has increase rapidly. Now EC is considered not only as communication method but also as new economical activities. EC is a kind of new commerce model which uses electronic means. And EC has global characteristics so that many country's legislation which regulates it differently makes an obstacle to vital of EC. The purpose of this study is to examine legal problems of internet electronic commerce. First, there are some legal problems whether electronic document has same legal function like traditional documents. Second, electronic signature must has authenticity, integrity, non-repudiation, writing and confidentiality in order to use looks like common signature. Finally, electronic contract is concluded on principle of mutual agreement. It is apparent that the concept of arrival is applied to the date and place in conclusion of electronic contract.
