관입시험법에 의한 콘크리트의 압축강도 추정식 (A New Estimated Strength Equation of Concrete by Penetration Resistance Test)

  • This study concerns the new estimated strength equation of concrete by penetration test. There are not only few estimate strength equations of concrete, but also many problems to apply them because of time, cost, easiness, structural damage, reliability and so on. In this study, there performed a series of test for one year and estimated strength equation of concrete as follows; Linear: fck =3.38d - 95.1 ($$r^2$$=88.6%) Quadratic: fck =0.188$$d^2$$- 10.76d + 166.3 ($$r^2$$=96.7%) here, fck : estimated compressive strength of concrete by Mpa d: exposed probe length by mm.

  • In this study, a new earth retention system has been developed and introduced. This system is a self-supported earth retaining wall without struts. The new earth retention system consists of connected double H-pile and wale. This system provides a larger spacing of support, economical benefit, construction easiness, good performance and safety. This paper explains basic principles and mechanism of self-supported earth retaining wall. In order to investigate applicability and safety of this system, numerical analysis was performed. The finite differential method program, FLAC3D is used. The predicted performances of this system were presented and discussed.

  • A new earth retention system(Innovative Prestressed Wale System) has been developed and introduced. IPR earth retention system provides an economical benefit, construction easiness, good performance and safety. IPS is a prestressed wale by using a steel wire, which provides a high stiffness to resist the earth pressure. In order to investigate the applicability and the safety of new IPS system, field tests were performed. A new IPS system applied in a trench excavation performed successfully. Basic principles and mechanism of IPS system and measure performance were presented and discussed.

  • Open education is more relevant to the current educational reality which requires the liberalization, individualization and creativeness, and the effectiveness of open education will be maximized with the full utilization of instructional media. As well known, there are many different types of instructional media to promote open education such as print material, audio material, still picture, movie, computer, and multimedia. The main criteria to choose effective instructional media for open education depend upon easiness of supply and retrieval of information, and promotion of more frequent interaction among participants. In addition, utilization method, cost, curriculum contents, as well as school culture are also elements to consider in the selection of right instructional media.

  • In this paper we present the guideline to evaluate the easiness of using personal robots and their learning abilities based on the analysis of their built-in commands, user interfaces, and intelligences. Recently, we are breathing with robots that can be able to do lots of roles. cleaning, security, pets and education in real life. They can be classified as home robots, guide robots, service robots, robot pets, and so on. There are, however, no standards to evaluate their ability, so it is not easy to select an appropriate robot when a user wants to buy it. Thus, we present, as a guideline that can be a standard for the evaluation of the personal robots, the standards by means of analyzing existing personal robots and results of the recent research works. We will, also, describe how to apply the evaluation method th the personal robot.

  • A lot of path planning algorithms have been developed to find the collision-free path with minimum cost. But most of them require complicated computations. In this paper, a thinning method, which is one of the image processing schemes, was adopted to simplify the path planning procedure. In addition, critical points are used to find the shortest-distance path among all possible paths from the start to the goal point. Since the critical points contain the information on the neighboring paths, a new path can be quickly obtained on the map even when the start and goal points change. To investigate the validity of the proposed algorithm, various simulations have been performed for the environment where the obstacles with arbitrary shapes exist. It is shown that the optimal paths can be found with relative easiness.

  • In this paper we propose a new method for modeling indoor environment with stereo camera and suggest a localization method for mobile robot navigation on the basis of it. From the viewpoint of easiness in map building and exclusion of artificiality, the main idea of this paper is that environment is represented as global topological map and each node has omni-directional metric and color information by using stereo camera and pan/tilt mechanism.   • An approach to time-varying obstacle avoidance problem is pursued. The mathematical formulation of the problem is given in Cartesian space and in joint space. To deal with the time-varying obstacles, view-time is introduced. A view-time is the time interval viewing the time-varying obstacles to model equivalent stationary obstacles. For the analysis of the properties of the view-time, avoidability measure is defined as a measure of easiness for a robot to avoid obstacles. Based on the properties, a motion planning strategy to avoid time-varying obstacles is derived. An application of the strategy to the collision-free motion planning of two SCARA robots and the simulation on the application are given.

자동자 제조업체 근로자의 작업복 착의실태 분석 (Status quo Analysis on the Clothing Practice of Automaker′s Uniform)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyse on the clothing practice of automaker's uniform and to investigate the relationship between wearing sense of worker's uniform and overall comfort according to working environment and working types. The data were collected from 184 automakers using questionnaire and interview of a officer for uniform management. Working environment was relatively comfortable, but the worker in special working area needed to control the working environment and adopted the protective equipment. The dissatisfaction of clothing practice of uniform was shown high in design and material. The order of preference in the color was blue, navy, blue, gray, green. In case of taking care of uniform, sewing durability and shape stability were poor in comparison with washing easiness. The correlation between overall comfort and wearing sense of uniform as sense of wearing and taking off, texture and movement function, was relatively high, but it appeared the low correlation in physiological comfort.

  • Most industrial products nowadays have been manufactured by being made up of many parts what these are made from various kinds of materials. These parts and goods should be disassembled simply and classified easily by material or kinds of parts for the recycling. But it is not so easy to know how to take disassembly ways and those orders must be known and also analyzed the assembled points and directions of the every part. This research presents an design process for recycling that it will be considering whole design process for recycling about easiness of disassembling units as the prior condition to reuse the parts and used material, and to reduce waste parts.
