  • Engine System Development Document management system(ESDD) 2.0 has already been operated for systematic engine systems development of KSLV-II. In addition, ESDD 3.0 is under development to manage the documents of before and after engine tests. In this paper, the concept and direction of ESDD 3.0 will be briefly described.

Analysis of Leakage Current Waveforms for Transmission Line Porcelain Insulators due to ESDD Contamination (ESDD 오손에 따른 송전용자기애자의 누설전류 파형의 분석)

  • This paper reports the contamination performance of transmission line porcelain insulators tested under five different contaminant conditions - clean and ESDD (equivalent salt deposit density) level (A, B, C, and D) through measurement of their leakage current under drop of potential method. To estimate the contamination for transmission line porcelain insulators, leakage current waveform and its maximum value were measured under step-up power test. In the clean insulators test, % distortion factors decreased with increasing step-up power, and as the ESDD level increased, some characteristics such as frequency analysis, harmonics and % distortion facotor could be used for contamination diagnosis of the transmission line porcelain insulators.

  • 해안거리에 따른 등가염분부착밀도(Equivalent Salt Deposit Density)의 수동오손측정은 동해, 서해, 남해의 해안가 및 제주도, 진도, 거제도의 도서지역에 설치되어 있는 112개소에서 매월 1개월 누적오손을 측정하였다. 이와 같이 수동으로 측정된 ESDD는 전력연구원에서 수행한 "전력설비의 염진해 대책에 관한연구(1988)" 및 "염진해 오손정도 및 기준정립에 관한 연구(2002)"에서 분석기법으로 활용한 통계분석기법을 사용하여 분석하였다.

  • We installed the measurement equipment which measure the equivalent Salt Deposit Density(ESDD) of the domestic coast area in the selected 112 place and investigated the influence of the wind which blow at the point of 500m from coast installing a wind vane, wind gauge for realtime measurement. During september${\sim}$december, 2005, ESDD which passively measured at the point of 50m from coast is maximum C grade in the Homigot of Pohang, B grade in the Gochang and A grade in the remaining point. Also ESDD which is measured in the east coast, west coast respectively is the more the distance being far from the coast to inland, the more ESDD rapidly decreasing but each area of the south coast is difficult to identify the decreased tendency because of very low measurements.

  • This paper presents on contamination performance of polymeric outdoor insulator with different contaminant accumulation. The ESDD (equivalent salt deposit density), tracking resistance and clean-fog test were performed to investigate the characteristics of contamination performance on polymeric outdoor insulator. Furthermore, we evaluated together with the porcelain samples for its comparison. It is found that ESDD of polymeric and porcelain insulator depends on the installation position. This surface accumulation of contaminant lead to the loss of surface hydrophobicity, expecially upper shed part of polymeric insulator. In addition, the effect of an artificial contaminant on the tracking resistance by inclined-plane method and leakage suppression ability under clean fog was surveyed. The time of tracking failure did not appear to change significantly with a much contaminant accumulation, while leakage current under clean-fog increased.

  • 154kV송전용 자기현수애자 오손특성을 구하기 위하여 자체 제작된 챔버 내에서 3개의 자기애자를 현수하여 누설전류파형의 변화를 관찰하였다. 154kV 송전용자기 애자의 신뢰성평가를 위하여 ESDD 레벨에 따른 누설전류 파형 및 최대값 변화양상을 단계적 승압을 통하여 파형을 계측하였다. ESBD 레벨에 따른 누설전류 파형의 최대값이 아크방전의 영향이 없을 경우는 일정한 규칙으로 증가하였고, ESDD레벨이 높아지면서 아크방전의 발생은 주파수 분석을 통한 고조파성분의 변화양상을 볼 수 가 있다.

  • 배전용 고분자피뢰기의 오손환경 하에서 표면누설전류, 저항성누설전류, 전체누설전류 특성을 구하기 위하여 ESDD오손환경 하에서 실험을 실시하였다. ESDD레벨에 따라 인가전압의 승압으로 일정한 규칙을 얻을 수 있다. 또한 피뢰기의 진단을 위해서 모니터 링을 위한 파라미터는 저항성성분의 누설전류를 이용하였다. Clean상태의 피뢰기는 3고조파가 우세한상태로 인가전압의 승압에따라 특징을 찾을 수 있었다 그러나 오손된 경우는 clean상태와는 전혀 다른 5고조파성분이 크게 나타난 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • This paper present the result of the investigation, the distribution of salt contamination with the influence of geographical condition. To get the ESDD data, a conventional brush washing method was adapted, and IC(ion chromatography) was used to measure the quantity of anions, such as Cl$\^$-/ and SO$_4$$\^$2-/. And we make an analysis on the distribution of salt contamination with the increase of distance from shore. With 10 month ESDD data, we seek the 95% ESDD value with interpolation method. With these analyses, we had obtained the formulation concerned with the distance from sea. And could know the composition of contamination.

  • The salt contamination on the distribution facilities is one of the major concern areas because more than 90% of salt contaminated failure occurs in distribution facilities. The periodic measurement of the Equivalent Salt Deposit Density(ESDD) is essential to manage and operate the power line. The ESDD has taken from the 112 position which is located on the coastline of the Korean Peninsula. The ESDD will be presented with the location and the distance from the coastline.

  • The accumulation of salt contamination could be the source of electrical accident. The degree of contamination on outdoor insulator is represented by ESDD(equivalent salt deposit density). The salt is transported by the wind to the outdoor insulator and cleaned by the rain. So, we can estimate the relation between climatic data and ESDD by using the multiple regression method. The results of pre-study presented the high relation coefficient(0.874). But these results couldn't apply to another period So, this paper improves above problem by mathematical process of climatic data The main method is accumulation of passed climatic data and conversion of the rainfall by the wind. Then, we confirmed the increasement of relation coefficient(0.898).
