Nowadays, many commercial ERP products, such as Oracle, SAP, and Baan, etc, are designed based on large-scaled companies. It is difficult for small and medium-size companies with weakness in budgets and resources(e.g., human, organization, technique, and so on) to use them as it was. So, new ERP system need to be provided for small and medium-size companies. In this paper, we model and provide a conceptual ERP model for small and medium-size companies by using "4＋1 View" architecture model of Unified Modeling Language(UML). The conceptual ERP model consists of five subsystems： Manufacturing, Sales, HumanResource and Payroll, Accounting, and Trading. Especially, we describe the conceptual ERP model focusing on "Manufacturing" subsystem by using several diagrams of UML. By using the conceptual ERP model, the ERP system′s developers of small and medium-size companies can obtain many benefits： improving the efficiency of software developing process and helping user requirements gathering and description of ERP system′s nonfunctional aspect as well as functional aspect.

ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)는 생산, 자재, 영업, 인사, 회계 등 기업 전 부문에 걸쳐있는, 자금 등 각종 경영자원을 하나의 체계로 통합적으로 재구축함으로써 생산성을 극대화하는 대표적인 기업 리엔지니어링 운동이다. 이러한 ERP의 최종목표는 기업의 자원인 인력, 금전, 자재, 기계를 통합적으로 관리하여 시너지 효과를 창출하는데 있으며, 본 연구는 ERP의 이론적인 특성을 살피고 사례 연구를 통하여 주위 환경 변화에 신속한 대응이 가능하고, 기업 자원의 효율적인 운용을 통한 이윤의 극대화와 경쟁력 확보의 달성하는데 있다.

ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning : 전사적 자원 관리)란 생산, 판매, 자재, 인사, 회계 등 기업의 전반적인 업무 프로세스를 하나의 체계로 통합 및 재구축하여 관련 정보를 서로 공유하고 이를 통해 신속한 의사결정 및 업무 수행이 가능하도록 도와주는 전사적 자원관리 시스템이다. 본 연구에서는 ERP 소프트웨어의 분야의 기반 기술을 조사하고 ERP 소프트웨어 사용성의 품질평가 메트릭을 개발하였다.

ERP 시스템은 전사 통합 관점에서 기업 전체의 업무를 관리하기 때문에, 업무 집중도가 높고, 처리량이 많으며, 업무가 Waterfall 모델로 설계된 부분이 많은 특성이 있어, 어느 한 부분의 성능 문제가 전체 시스템 운영의 중대한 Issue로 확대될 가능성이 크다. 본 논문을 통해서 ERP 시스템의 성능 Issue를 사전에 점검할 수 있는 성능 테스트(Performance Testing) 방법을 연구했고, 실제 ERP 시스템 구축 Project에 투입되어 성능 테스트를 진행한 사례를 고찰하여, 발견된 Issue를 토대로 ERP 시스템의 성능을 최적화하고 시스템을 안정적으로 운영할 수 있는 방안을 연구해 보았다.

최근 경영환경의 변화와 정보기술의 급속한 발전에 따라 전사적 자원관리(ERP: Enterprise Resource Planning)가 새로운 경영기법의 하나로 등장하였다. ERF시스템의 통합성, 유연성, 그리고 다양한 정보기술 적용을 통하여 경영혁신을 수월하게 추진할 수 있는 장점으로 인하여 기업에서 ERP 시스템 도입 및 구축이 확산되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 이점에도 불구하고 변화에 대한 저항, 기업 환경을 고려하지 않은 시스템 구축 등으로 인하여 활용 측면에서는 많은 문제점이 존재하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자의 만족여부가 ERP 시스템의 성공을 좌우한다는 인식에서 ERP 시스템의 정보 품질을 구성하는 항목들을 사용자 관점에서 규명하고, 이들을 이용한 ERP 시스템의 활용수준을 결정하는 차원들을 도출하여 사용자 관점에서 ERP 시스템 환용에 미치는 영향의 정도에 따른 차이를 알아보고자 한다.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a software that manages and automate the internal processes of an organization. Process speed and quality can be increased, and cost reduced by process automation. Odoo is an open source ERP platform including more than 15000 apps. ERP systems such as Odoo are all-in-one management systems. Odoo can be suitable for small and medium organizations, but duo to efficiency limitations, Odoo is not suitable for the large ones. Furthermore, Odoo can be implemented on both local or public servers in which each has some advantages and disadvantages such as; the speed of internet, synced data or anywhere access. In many cases, there is a persistent need to have more than one synchronized Odoo instance in several physical places. We modified Odoo to support this kind of requirements and improve its efficiency by replacing its standard database with a distributed one, namely CockroachDB.

연구목적 기존 정보시스템 연구에서 정보기술 역량과 기업 성과 간 관계에 대해 다양한 관점의 많은 연구들이 있었음에도 불구하고 아직까지 공통된 결론에 이르지는 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 전사적자원관리(ERP) 시스템 도입을 중심으로 정보기술 역량을 파악하여 정보기술 역량과 기업 성과 간 관계에 대한 재고찰을 시도한다. 연구설계/방법론/접근법 기존 관련 연구들은 1990년대나 2000년대 초반의 다소 오래된 기업사례들을 대상으로 하거나 ERP를 도입한 처리그룹과 이에 상응하는 통제그룹을 적절히 매칭하지 못한 채 양자 간 관계를 분석하고 있다는 점에서 자료 및 분석 방법 측면의 문제점을 갖고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 2000년대 후반 들어 전사적자원관리 시스템을 도입한 기업들을 중심으로 성향점수매칭(propensity score matching) 및 이중차이분석(difference-in-difference) 방법을 적용하여 전사적자원관리 시스템을 도입한 기업과 이에 상응하는 미도입 기업을 체계적으로 매칭하고 이들 간의 기간 간 성과 차이를 분석한다. 결과 본 연구 결과에 따르면 전사적자원관리 시스템 도입 기업과 미도입 기업 간 수익성 지표에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 정보시스템의 전유가 경쟁력을 제공했던 과거와 달리 최근 표준화된 정보시스템의 등장과 더불어 단순히 정보시스템 도입 만으로는 더 이상 경쟁 우위를 달성할 수 없다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

최근 국내 호텔산업은 중국시장을 포함하여 아시아 시장으로 급속히 확대되고 있다. 그러나 원화가치의 상승, 부동산비용의 증가로 경쟁력이 떨어지고 있다. 이런 상황을 극복하기위해서 호텔상품을 차별화하고, ERP시스템의 도입을 통해 경쟁력을 강화하고자 노력하고 있다. 그러나 ERP시스템은 도입 비용이 크고, 성공률이 낮아 위험도가 매우 높다. 따라서 투자 이전에 성공 요인의 분석과 효과 예측이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 호텔 기업의 ERP시스템 구축에 대한 투자 효과의 예측 방법과 사례를 통한 이해를 돕고자 하였다. 연구 기반 이론은 ERP시스템의 투자 효과를 측정할 수 있는 사전 연구와 Saaty가 제시한 AHP기법의 이론이다. 연구의 사례는 특급 호텔인 R호텔을 기준으로 분석하였다. 본 연간의 중요성은 호텔 기업이 ERP시스템을 도입함에 있어 효과를 예측하는 방법론을 제시한 것이다.

Despite all attempts to prevent fraud, it continues to be a major threat to industry and government. Traditionally, organizations have focused on fraud prevention rather than detection, to combat fraud. In this paper we present a role mining inspired approach to represent user behaviour in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, primarily aimed at detecting opportunities to commit fraud or potentially suspicious activities. We have adapted an approach which uses set theory to create transaction profiles based on analysis of user activity records. Based on these transaction profiles, we propose a set of (1) anomaly types to detect potentially suspicious user behaviour, and (2) scenarios to identify inadequate segregation of duties in an ERP environment. In addition, we present two algorithms to construct a directed acyclic graph to represent relationships between transaction profiles. Experiments were conducted using a real dataset obtained from a teaching environment and a demonstration dataset, both using SAP R/3, presently the predominant ERP system. The results of this empirical research demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Although information communication technology (ICT) is long regard as very useful tool in today's construction engineering and project management environment, organizations must not only operate based upon its original setting, but also requires on-going observation, additional features and fine-tuning actions before the desirable outcome can be achieved. However, it is a very common phenomenon that organizations purchase the licensed "off-the-shelf-software" package and customize it to suit their own business need. Due to the incapability of such software and inefficient customization, the possible result is making that ICT tool not user-friendly and sometimes the whole system becomes obsolete. The purpose of this paper is to review and report those actions taken (between February 2006 and December 2010) by a construction organization to enhance the performance of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system launched in December 2002. Such actions include: improving data inputting method; removing the transition bottleneck; introducing crystallization function; revising the organization's "Delegation and Limits of Authority"; publishing the "League Table" amongst users; integrating the 3D Mode into the system and upgrading hardware. Whilst the ultimate goals of such system are well beyond the time limit of this research study, an obvious interim result, achieved by this case studied organization, was winning a landmark project worth US$500 million after the ERP system was functioned properly and effectively. Their experience and success becomes an exemplar which can be borrowed by those companies, from managerial perspectives and as a roadmap, planning to adopt information technology (IT) strategy and use ICT tool in the construction engineering and project management framework. Singapore, where public housing provisions have been a major concern of their citizens as the building stock gets older.
