A study on School Assets Management System based on Ubiquitous Sensor Network (유비쿼터스 센서네트워크를 활용한 학교자산관리시스템)

  • In this paper, the method to apply the RFID technology to schools will be presented in order to effectively integrate and manage various assets in school. The proposed system may be seemed to be very useful of individual school to grasp the status of their assets and also the central government to control and manage the assets scattered far and wide around the country. We also propose the OSN/PMS server based on EPC global standard could be appropriate especially in schools. In addition the proposed system can acquire simultaneously the information from several RFID readers at real time so that it is possible and easy to track the position, the path of moving and the status of assets in the school. To show the usefulness of the proposed system, the prototype of the system has been implemented and conducted. The proposed system seems to be applicable to various fields such as factories, farms, or homes as well as school.

  • This paper is for EPC(Evolved Packet Core) network to share the load balance by IMSI(International Mobile Subscriber Identity) prefix in MME(Mobility Management Entity). For the telecommunication, it needs to choose the anchoring gateway to use the specific gateway to avoid the traffic load to support the efficient telecommunication service. We propose the way to choose the effective gateway to avoid the traffic load in order for good qualify service. We compare the load between the gateways which are the general gateway and the specific gateway used by proposed concept.

  • Recently, development and research of u-City established the ubiquitous environment which can be anytime, anywhere computing or network, has been much highlighted. Thus, current urban facilities should be managed by ubiquitous concept, and monitored location and status information in a real-time manner, and controled if necessary. In order to be establish in the purpose of management, indirect mapping through id-tag is better than facility management directly. For instance, RFID, UCODE, UFID. In this paper, we propose that represent facility object through UOID(Unique Object IDentification). UOID comprises three parts; 1) sensing object, 2) facility object, 3) cell object consists of facilities. and Life cycle management system in UOID, and network system connected with internet is proposed. We wish that proposed UOID and network system mange u-City facilities effectively, and also provide ubiquitous service to the citizen, one of the integrate service of u-City platform.

  • EPCIS(EPC Information Service) system is a core component of EPCglobal Architecture Framework offering information of the freights, the time of awareness and the location of awareness on the EPCglobal Network. EPCIS Repository continuously stores and manages mass EPCIS Event input data from a great number of RFID devices simultaneously. The Hybrid DBMS can deal efficiently mass necessary data. This study suggest the plan which can efficiently manage EPCIS Repository using Hybrid DBMS. We offer three schema and stores EPCIS Event data to Altibase DB that can efficiently manage EPCIS Repository using Hybrid DBMS and compare the performance about three schema through simulations.

  • Spotlighted as an innovative information technology environment, ubiquitous computing has been actively researched on recently. Especially, domestic and global researches focus on the RFID system, which is being eyed to replace the existing bar-code system. As an essential technology for ubiquitous computing, the RFID system can be applied for various purposes. The security issues of the RFID system focus on how the low-priced tag type could have reasonable price competitiveness. The Auto-ID Center in the U.S. is spearheading the research on distribution service and omni-directional security. As for Japan, the researches on omni-directional security and EPC application are necessary in securing the technology for ubiquitous computing with support from the Ministry of Public Management Home Affairs, Posts, and Telecommunication. In this paper, a method of ensuring the availability of the RFID system service will be presented based on the ubiquitous computing environment with the existing omni-directional security and user-friendly interface. While the existing researches focus on the RF reader system and tag-based security, this paper's suggestion also considers the availability of a sen ice to suggest ways of increasing the practical usage of a low-priced RF tag.

  • The u-SCM to persue unification of the whole Supply Chain through ubiquitous computing and technical interface is raised its head for enterprise to secure endless competitive advantage and grow up constantly. This can be especially a matter of primary concern for business process elevation on various industry. The other side, The Traceability Service propelled both nationally and internationally is propelled specific industry to offer visibility and traceability of each manufacture on supply chain related to induce RFID, but standard Traceability Service Architecture isn't decided yet. This paper propose Model of Product Traceability Service which is based on EPCglobal Network to be the whole world standard architecture for the sake of efficient and perfect manufacture management on entire supply chain based on RFID.

  • Recently, The Ubiquitous Computing which appears by issue in the latest IT field is actualized possibility and interest intensively becomes in many disciplines through rapid advancement of the network and the semiconductor. RFID is a base technology of the Ubiquitous Computing and it is technology to identifies information of the electronic tag which attaches in the object. and it guides the commercial business anger of Ubiquitous Computing. But currently, most of RFID research is becoming intensively in hardware field as tag and leader, whereas the research of software field relativy is insufficient. In this paper, we compared and analyzed architecture of existing which uses the RFID to rise point of Ubiquitous Computing then we complemented the problem point which is analyzed and proposed a new architecture to provides an intelligence application service.
