  • A tubular reactor model represented by partial differential equations was studied as one of nonlinear distributed parameter optimal control problems. An optimal control theory in the form of maximum principles based on nonlinear integral equations was used to develop an algorithm to solve the problem.

  • An intelligent system which is an integration of multi-functional instrumentation (MFI) and a neural network is discussed. According to some experiments of temperature and wind velocity it is clear that this system can learn the data structure of two parameters above. So it makes good performances for estimations of non-sample data.

  • In this paper, we present a method of analysing perturbed linear system by pole sensitivity defined by the rate of pole movement with respect of perturbation. Pole sensitivity give us not only the rate of pole movement but also the directional information of the pole movement. We present a method of design of a LQR by considering the pole sensitivity and show that the suggested method guarantee the stability robustness of parameter perturbation.
