Energy System Management 모형을 통한 통합 수요관리 효과분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effect Analysis of Integrated Demand Management According to Energy System Management Model)

  • This paper is developed to demand management scenario of energy consumption efficiency improvement, electricity generation efficiency improvement, network efficiency improvement, change of distribution ratio, movement of energy source, change of heating system, put of CHP to quantitatively assess to impact on energy use of demand management at the national level. This scenario can be applied Energy System Management model was developed based on Energy Balance Flow. In addition, effect analysis through built demand management scenario was quantitatively evaluated integrated demand management effectiveness of energy cost saving, CO2 emission reduction and energy savings of national level by calculating to primary energy source usage change in terms of integration demand management effect more often than not a single energy source separated electricity, heat and gas.

Energy-aware Virtual Resource Mapping Algorithm in Wireless Data Center

  • Data centers, which implement cloud service, have been faced up with quick growth of energy consumption and low efficiency of energy. 60GHz wireless communication technology, as a new option to data centers, can provide feasible approach to alleviate the problems. Aiming at energy optimization in 60GHz wireless data centers (WDCs), we investigate virtualization technology to assign virtual resources to minimum number of servers, and turn off other servers or adjust them to the state of low power. By comprehensive analysis of wireless data centers, we model virtual network and physical network in WDCs firstly, and propose Virtual Resource Mapping Packing Algorithm (VRMPA) to solve energy management problems. According to VRMPA, we adopt packing algorithm and sort physical resource only once, which improves efficiency of virtual resource allocation. Simulation results show that, under the condition of guaranteeing network load, VPMPA algorithm can achieve better virtual request acceptance rate and higher utilization rate of energy consumption.

  • This paper have been dealt with the analysis for energy efficiency improvement effect of unity storage capacity as a part of the energy storage application study to improve energy efficiency in the electric railway systems. Especially, in order to estimate the amount of energy saving according to the variation of power capacity of each storage, the current limit module was mounted on an existing DC electric railway loadflow program which is based on the analysis model for railway system and storages, and combined optimization algorithm to determine optimal voltage boundary.

RIX-MAC: An Energy-Efficient Receiver-Initiated Wakeup MAC Protocol for WSNs

  • This paper proposes RIX-MAC (Receiver-Initiated X-MAC), a new energy-efficient MAC protocol based on an asynchronous duty cycling. RIX-MAC improves energy efficiency through utilizing short preambles and adopting the receiver-initiated approach, where RIX-MAC minimizes sender nodes' energy consumption by enabling transmitters to predict receiver nodes' wake-up times. It also reduces receiver nodes' energy consumption by decreasing the number of control frames. We use the network simulator to evaluate RIX-MAC's performance. Compared to the prior asynchronous duty cycling approaches of X-MAC and PW-MAC, the proposed protocol shows a remarkable improvement in energy-efficiency and end-to-end delay.

  • As WSN is energy constraint so energy efficiency of nodes is important. Because avoiding long distance communication, clustering operating in rounds is an efficient algorithm for prolonging the lifetime of WSN and its performance depends on duration of a round. A short round time leads to frequent re-clustering while a long round time increases energy consume of cluster heads more. So existing clustering schemes determine proper round time, based on the parameters of initial WSN. But it is not appropriate to apply the round time according to initial value throughout the whole network time because WSN is very dynamic networks nodes can be added or vanished. In this paper we propose a new algorithm which calculates the round time relying on the alive node number to adapt the dynamic WSN. Simulation results validate the proposed algorithm has better performance in terms of energy consumption of nodes and loss rate of data.

국내 열병합발전사업의 기술적 생산효율성 추정 및 사업구조 평가: 16개 집단에너지사업자에 대한 패널 확률프론티어모형(SFA) 분석 (Evaluation of Technical Production Efficiency and Business Structure of Domestic Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Operators: Panel Stochastic Frontier Model Analysis for 16 Collective Energy Operators)

  • 집단에너지는 에너지전환의 중간단계이자, 분산전원으로서 전력구조에 미치는 영향이 크다. 하지만 최근 일부 집단에너지사업자의 수익성 악화로 인해 집단에너지사업의 문제가 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 집단에너지사업자의 기술적 생산효율성 추정을 통해, 주요 사업자의 기술적 생산효율성을 측정하였으며 이를 바탕으로 사업자의 수익구조 개선방안을 살펴보았다. 16개 집단에너지사업자의 2016~19년 세부 재무 및 생산 자료를 수집한 후, 패널 확률 프론티어모형을 이용하여 사업자들의 기술적 생산효율성을 추정하였다. 추정 결과, 증기공급병행, 대형 전기중심, 소규모 구역전기, 역송CHP 사업자 순으로 생산효율성이 높음을 확인하였다. 더 나아가 수익성 영향요인에 대해 살펴본 결과, 기술적 생산효율성은 전반적으로 수익성과 양(+)의 영향 관계를 가지나, 소규모 구역전기사업자와 같이 열 생산 비중이 높은 사업자는 수익성이 악화됨을 확인하였다. 이는 현재 열 판매 시장의 구조적 한계로 인한 현상이며, 수익성 개선을 위해서는 열 판매단가에 대한 조정이 필요함을 확인하였다.

에너지공급자 수요관리 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Implementation Issues for Demand-side Management of Energy Suppliers)

  • This paper presents an in-depth review for current status for demand-side management (DSM) investment of energy supplier and an useful prospect on the introduction of Energy Efficiency Resource Standards (EERS). According to the Article 9 of Rational Energy Utilization Act, Energy suppliers-Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) and Korea District Heat Corporation (KDHC) prescribed by Presidential Decree-must establish and implement annual demand-side management investment plan to improve energy efficiency in production, transformation, transportation, storage and usage of corresponding energy and to reduce demand and green house gas emissions. In this paper, we examine the DSM programs of energy suppliers and the results of DSM investment in 2009, then we propose a reasonable solution for the development of DSM investment. Furthermore, in order to compare our situation, the case studies were conducted on EERS issues in England, Italy, France and U.S, such as establishing the energy saving target, selecting the target energy supplier, and penalty and incentive mechanisms. Throughout the case studies, this paper suggests the directions to the DSM investment planning of energy suppliers and the major issues to prepare EERS in Korea.

국내 친환경건축물인증제도2010과 LEED2009에서의 에너지평가방법에 대한 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Evaluation Methods of Energy of Green Building Certification Criteria 2010 and LEED 2009)

  • Recently, the green building and energy connection system are establishing. But, National certification system for environment-Friendly Buildings is indicated hangup about energy efficiency of building. Commissioning, energy conservation, renewable energy, carbon dioxide emissions, it is determined that the energy associated with LEED and GBCC four items of the comparative analysis showed the following results. First, on the practical performance of the system after the completion of commissioning of the energy associated with the system completed until after the final performance for secure operation from the planning stage to verify and document systematically how to perform, but the domestic review and verification is incomplete. Second, the use of energy-saving and renewable energy is directly related to the energy consumption of the building, but GBCC the strengthening of standards on how to evaluate it is deemed necessary. Finally, the evaluation of the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, LEED Unlike GBCC the life-cycle of the system without considering the global warming index only because a substantial step in the operating efficiency can not be assessed. Based on this study GBCC energy savings through efficiency to actively carry out research through a systematic analysis of the basic guidelines to proceed.

  • A Photovoltaic/Thermal(PVT) solar system consists of PV module and thermal absorber plate which convert the absorbed solar radiation into electricity and heat. Meaningful researches and development (R&D) on the PVT technologies have been performed since the 1970s. This paper presents a review of the previous works covering the various types of PVT and their performance analysis in terms of electrical and thermal efficiency. This review compares electrical and thermal efficiency of the different types of PVT collectors and analyzes the parameters affecting PVT performance. Based on the literature review, box charmel type PVT with unglazed, or flat plate PVT with glazed have the highest efficiency among them. From the literature review, R&D should be carried out aiming at improving their overall electrical and thermal efficiency and cutting down the cost, making them more competitive in the energy consumption market.

  • A new multi inner stage(MIS) cyclone was designed to remove the acidic gas and minute particles of harmful materials produced from electronic industry. To characterize gas flow in MIS cyclone, pressure and velocity distribution were calculated by means of computational fluid dynamics(CFD) commercial program. Also, the flow locus of particles and particle removal efficiency were analyzed by Lagrangian method. When outlet pressure condition was -1,000 Pa, the efficiency was the best in this study. Based on the CFD simulation result, the pressure loss and destruction removal efficiency was measured through MIS cyclone experiment.
