Life form spectra by dormancy, disseminule, radicoid and growth form were analysed. Thirty eight taxa including 17 families, 21 genus, 14 species and 16 varieties out of 320 taxa growing Jeju were endemic to Korea and 22 taxa of them were endemic to Jeju. The specific plant species among the woody plants in Jeju were 10 taxa in V grade, 24 taxa in IV grade and 53 taxa in III grade. These are correspondence to those of nations as 12% of V grade, 7.6% of IV grade and 17.2% of III grade.
The number of vascular plants in Mt. Cheongwan was 323 taxa, which were consisted of 89 families, 221 genera, 270 species, 47 varieties, and 6 formas. Corylopsis coreana belonged in level II of extinction crisis wild plant were found. Six taxa of Korean endemic plants of 6 families, 6 genera, 5 species, and 1 forma were distributed. And also, 40 taxa of floristic specially plants of which 29 in level I, 2 in level II, 6 in level III, 2 in level IV, and finally 1 in level V were recognized. The ratio of naturalized and urbanization index was 3.72 % and 4.14 %, respectively.

This study was carried out to investigate the vascular flora of the Hongcheon-gun area in Gangwon Province. The vascular plants were collected 13 times(from April 2008 to May 2009), and 1,055 taxa in total were identified, including 43 orders, 118 families, 443 genera, 903 species, 6 subspecies, 125 varieties, 18 form and 3 hybrids. Among them, 37 taxa of Korean endemic plants and the Office of Forestry-designated rare & endangered plants were identified as 35 taxa. Based on the list of plants which have been approved for overseas delivery, 61 taxa were recorded in the investigated area. The Ministry of Environment-designated plants, which should be protected by the wildlife protection law, were identified as four taxa and 224 taxa of specially designated plants by the Ministry of Environment. The naturalized plants were identified as 45 taxa, and their naturalization ratio and urban index were found to be 4.3%, and 16.1% respectively. 1,055 taxa listed consists of 359 taxa(34%) of edible plants, 293 taxa(27.7%) of medicinal plants, 166 taxa(15.7%) of pasture plants, 143 taxa(13.5%) of ornamental plants, 41 taxa(3.9%) of timber plants, 25 taxa(2.3%) of fiber plants and 3 taxa(0.2%) of industrial plants.

The golf course has many problems that are a pollution of river, a extinction of habitat by destructing a forest and a simplication of species composition. Therefore, this study was carried out to examine the ecological characteristics of vascular plants in construct-reserved site of golf course. The results were as follow. The vascular plants were summarized as 342 taxa; 86 families, 231 genera, 295 species, 42 varieties and 5 forma. In the results by the location environments of vegetation, Salix caprea community and wetland species like Persicaria thunbergii were appeared in the swamp. Especially, S. caprea will be made use of promoting a landscape. In the stream, Stephanandra incisa community has a functions like an ecological axis and a corridor of wild animals. The planting technique will be applied to using Atractylodes japonica and Ainsliaea acerifolia in the lower part of Pinus densiflora and Quercus mongolica. Because Rhododendron schlippenbachii and Convallaria keiskei grew by layer in Q. variabilis community, this will be made use of natural vegetation model. The rare plants were 2 taxa; Aristolochia contorta and Iris ensata var. spontanea. To preserve their community, we will prohibit a development and remove a threatening factor. The endemic plants were 4 taxa; Salix caprea, Clematis trichotma, Spiraea prunifolia for. simpliciflora and Weigela subsessilis. The naturalized plants were 19 taxa; Rumex crispus, Bildedykia dumetora and so on. To establish the quantitative management plan, we will obtain a ecological information about a naturalized plants in accumulating by season, community and land use pattern.
