틸팅열차(TTX)의 정장품 성능평가 연구 (A Study on Performance Evaluation of On-board Electric Device of TTX(Tilting Train Express))

  • This paper introduced an approach of improvement of performance of Electric device for EMU type Train like as TTX. The electric equipments are characterized by insulation, Noise, cooling system etc. and Their weight arc decided by these factors. There are two kinds of power source in EMU train. First, DC voltage source, 1500 volt, 750 volt is used for subway system. Second, AC power source 25000 volt is applied to high speed train and existing main lines. Composite material has the protection of inrush current and high frequency noise. We can use this material to minimize weight of train. Additionally we can get energy saving when operator service TTX.

  • Many types of door system are used in the Electric Multiple Unit (EMU). The door system is categorized to the two types of door system, sliding door and plug door. The sliding door is widely used in the EMU but has weak point for the noise problem. The plug door has advantages for the noise reduction characteristic. Nowaday electric door system is widely used and motor is a main part of driving system in the door system. We have to know the exact driving position of door system to control proper operation of the door. Actually encoder or tachometer is used for the position controlling, but it makes price increase and failure increase. In this paper, we study and describe motor current calculation method to contol and know exact driving position of door system.

  • To supply the materials the right time, and the right place, it is required some information maintenance system to manage this procedure effectively. In this paper, we represent the standard products classification for EMU and the materials maintenance information system to manage the parts used EMU maintenance efficiently. The standard material classification is matched to G2B code made by the Supply Administration. The implemented material information system can perform various functions such as the inquiry of the number of stocks, the demand of the materials, and etc.

  • In the standard specifications for the urban EMU(Electric Multiple Unit) train, there are several items to ensure safety against accidents. The 21th -23th items have much relation with the crashworthiness of the urban EMU train. In this study, the rubber- tired AGT(Automated Guide-way Transit System) under development by KRRI is numerically evaluated in a crashworthy point of view by applying the above crashworthiness items. The numerical results show the detail design of the AGT satisfies the 22th and 23th items. But the design is recommended to adopt mechanical fuses to reduce the impact accelerations with respect to the 21th item.

  • This paper suggested that the technical specification of tilting train EMU for speed up on existing lines. High speed strategy of existing lines are the modification of railway system which are made on cant, lengths of transition curves, the catenary system and train system. Tilting technology is more useful a strategy for speed increases on existing lines with low investment needed. We performed a feasibility study which is considered out real track conditions and designed propulsion and braking system of tilting EMU system.

동력분산형 고속열차의 횡방향 진동저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Lateral Vibration Reduction of the High-speed Electric Multiple Unit)

  • 본 연구는 동력분산형 고속열차의 횡방향 진동을 저감하기 위하여 진행되었다. 동역학 해석을 통한 연구에서 동력분산형 고속열차 시제차량(HEMU-430X)은 고속열차에서 주로 사용되는 차륜프로파일(XP55, GV40, S1002)에 관계없이 낮은 등가답면구배에서 횡방향 진동이 커지고, 차륜 마모가 진행되어 등가답면구배가 커지면 횡진동이 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이는 HEMU-430X에 적용된 현가장치 특성치들의 조합된 결과로 인해 등가답면구배가 낮을 때 차체와 대차가 1.4Hz의 주파수로 공진하여 차체 헌팅이 발생되기 때문이다. 고속열차의 횡방향 진동저감에 대한 해외 사례에서 요댐퍼의 유압강성(Hydraulic stiffness)을 낮추어 진동을 개선한 사례를 고찰하였다. 요댐퍼의 시리즈 강성은 유압강성과 탄성조인트의 조합인데 본 연구에서는 유압강성 조정대신 비교적 간단하게 할 수 있는 탄성조인트의 강성을 낮추어 횡방향 진동을 개선하고자 하였다. 신규 제작된 탄성조인트를 적용한 요댐퍼의 시리즈 강성은 기존 요댐퍼 대비 60% 수준으로 낮았다. 60% 수준의 시리즈 강성이 적용된 요댐퍼를 HEMU-430X의 TC~M2 3량에 설치하여 시운전 시험을 수행하였다. 시운전 시험 결과 TC를 선두로 한 하행 주행 시 TC~M1의 횡방향 진동이 개선되고, MC를 선두로 한 상행 주행 시 후미 TC차량의 횡진동이 개선되는 결과를 보였다. 본 연구의 진동저감 방안은 향후 영업운전을 위해 도입되는 EMU-250 및 EMU-320의 횡방향 진동 문제 발생 시 해결책으로 적용할 수 있다.

도시철도 전동차 유지보수체계의 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement for EMU Maintenance System of Urban Transit)

  • Urban transit system must secure fast, safe and reliable transportation capacity as a metropolitan mass transit. For this purpose, it is important to make all the sub-systems (which consist of EMU, power feeding, signaling & telecommunication, railway, platform facility, and control system and so on) work well. To operate all the systems effectively and reliably, a maintenance measure optimal to each system's characteristics is needed to be established and executed. So, highly reliable maintenance should be performed. But, EMU maintenance methods suitable to its own model and EMU lines are not yet introduced. This study examined few examples mainly to secure reliability on a maintenance quality in operating method and the features of train maintenance system based on travel distance.

전동차의 중련연결시 TCMS장치의 데이터 통신에 관한 네트워크 구현 (The Network Implementation on Data Communication of TCMS in case of multiple configuration of EMU(Electric Multiple Unit))

  • The train configuration is based on one unit like basic 4 cars to multiple unit operation. Each unit has unique node such as train formation number. Some equipments(TC, CC) of TCMS are connected to the master TC through the LonWorks network. When the train is consist of multiple unit, TCMS has to implement quick network for data communication overall train. But a variable time delay is generated when it is performed communication with point to point type using train formation number. In this paper we propose new method to know the node information of adjacent unit. that is to add digital input signals notifying cab direction at any cabin. Also, we provide the optimized screen design that all collected information via network is displayed by each unit.

  • In this paper, while electric multiple unit is moving on the rail, the content of measuring and analysing electric power consumption is mentioned. In order to measure the electric power consumption, we developed the power record analysis equipment and installed it the inside of the converter and inverter system to record the electric power consumption measured by voltage sensor and current sensor. Moving on the rail, we analysed traction power used up and regenerative power by using the measuring instrument. We expect that the measured and analysed data will offer basic research material to devise a energy reduction plan and introduce a new EMU system with high efficiency.

  • 신규로 투입되는 전동차는 강화된 안전성과 승객 편의성 규격이 요구되며 이로 인해 차량 초기 구입 비용 증가가 불가피할 것으로 예상되나 효율적인 설계를 통한 운영비 절감 등 또한 예상된다. 따라서 차량 구입은 초기 구입 비용, 운영 비용을 고려하여 결정되어야 하며, 이러한 비용 추정의 한 방법으로써 차량 수명 주기 비용(Life Cycle)과 그 적용 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.
