웹 기반 응용 시스템의 효과적인 개발기법이 급속히 발전 및 도입되고 있다. 특히, 컴포넌트기반의 개발기법은 쉽고 빠른 개발기간뿐만 아니라 향후 유지보수 및 재사용성의 편리성으로 인하여 가장 효율적인 개발방법으로 전해지고 있다. 이에 따라, COM+, CORBA, EJB등의 많은 컴포넌트의 지원기술이 발표되었고 이를 실무 개발에 적용하고 있다. 웹을 기반으로 하는 전자상거래분야는 다양한 고객의 요구사항과 효율적인 서비스지원을 위하여 컴포넌트 기술을 실무에 도입하고 있으며, 효과적인 상거래 시스템 구축을 위하여 지속적인 연구가 진행되고있다. 따라서, 본 논문은 서버측 컴포넌트 모델인 EJB를 이용하여 전자상거래에 사용될 수 있는 좌석예약 및 확인 시스템을 다중서버환경에서 구현하였다. 이는, Main Server를 위해 Resin Server환경의 Server를 이용한 JSP와 Java를 통하여 구현하였다. 따라서, EJB를 통한 독립 컴포넌트를 통하여 전자상거래 시스템 로직사이의 독립성을 높였으며, 분산된 EJB 서버를 통하여 해당 메소드를 호출함으로써 서버의 부하를 줄이고, 각 로직자원들을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 하였다.

인터넷의 급격한 발달로 인하여 기존의 클라이언트/서버환경으로 구성된 웹 환경에서는 서비스 제공이 원활하지 못하고, 시스템의 안정성 및 신뢰성이 미약하게 되어 이를 보완하기 위하여 새로운 환경인 분산 처리 기술의 필요성이 부각되었다. 분산 객체 애플리케이션 서버가 이러한 문제점을 해결하였지만, 서버 구축에 대한 어려움은 남아있었다. 그러나 EJB 컴포넌트의 사용으로 애플리케이션 서버구축이 한결 쉬워졌다. EJB는 자바 플랫폼 상에서 운영되는 서버 컴포넌트 기술이다. 컴포넌트 개발과정에서는 일정한 모듈의 중복으로 인한 개발 시간과 비용의 낭비, 컴포넌트 유지 보수에 대한 어려움, 명세에 따른 개발의 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트의 재사용성과 모듈성을 극대화하고, 코드 최적화 및 개발 시간과 비용 절감, 또한 개발자간의 의사소통을 원활하게 할 수 있는 개발 표준이 정립될 수 있도록 컴포넌트를 분석하여 모듈을 추출하고 모듈의 정보저장소를 설계하며, 이를 이용한 EJB 컴포넌트 생성 도구를 구현하였다.

EJB 는 분산 트랜잭션 기반의 엔터프라이즈 어플리케이션을 위한 컴포넌트 컴퓨팅을 위한 아키텍처이다. EJB 는 J2EE 플랫폼을 위한 서버 측 컴포넌트 아키텍처이며, J2EE 플랫폼의 재사용 가능하고 J2EE 기술 중에서 다중 플랫폼 또는 다중 서버에 이식 가능한 비즈니스 로직을 표현하는 코어 기술이다. EJB 기술을 사용하게 되면 응용 로직 개발자들은 시스템 영역의 서비스들 즉, 트랜잭션, 보안, 생명주기, 쓰레딩, 영속성_등의 기능을 직접 구현하지 않고 손쉽게 응용 로직을 개발할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 J2EE 의 핵심 서버인 EJB 서버 시스템의 설계 사상과 네이밍 및 디렉토리 관리 모듈에 대한 구체적인 설계 방안을 제시한다.

With development of internet technology, digital economy that advance rapidly formed much leagues of B2B, B2C, A2B etc, according to the application part. Also, electronic commerce system implementation technology is introduced by Component based on development method in object oriented technique base depending on customer's requirement, and development environment changes by 3- Tiers, Web-Based architecture etc. in existent C/S (Client/Server) environment and is introduced. Thus, In this research, I implemented seat reservation and confirmation system that can be used in electronic commerce in multi-server environment. This, for improve efficiency in distribute environment, relevant importance logic used server component model EJB, and implemented through JSP and Java that use Servlet of Resin Server environment for Main Server. Therefore, through independence component using EJB, I did so that can improved independence between electronic commerce system logic, and reduce server's overhead calling relevant method through discrete EJB server, and manage each logic resources efficiently.

This paper deals with an EJB-based database agent(component) used to define workflow processes, which is a core function of the e-Chautauqua workflow management system that is an on-going research product. We describe about how to design and implement the EJB-based DB agent that is deployed on EJB server as a component. The agent is located between the build-time clients and the database system, and manages database accesses, such as retrieves and stores, from the workflow definition components. Through the EJB technology, we are able to accomplish a stable database agent that can be characterized by the distributed object management, reliable recovery mechanism from system failovers, reliable large-scale transaction management, and the security functions.

According to change of software development technique as design pattern, component based development etc.., web server development part is applied activity to fit in various user requirement. Especially, EJB as sewer side component model much researches and introduce by easy and various development support. Also, component composing techniques is receiving many interests by easy and efficient application way that architecture based C2 style architecture with message handling. But, in case of EJB component that can not cail thread, C2 framework modification is unavoidable for component composition by C2 style architeccture. For this, we propose techniques to use Adapter pattern to be one of structure pattern among pattern. That is, did so that component composition by C2 style architecture may can consist changing to be able to call thread function in EJB by Adapter pattern.

EJB(Enterprise Java Bean) 컨테이너에서 대규모의 요청을 위해서는 여러 개의 EJB 컨테이너를 클러스터링 환경으로 구동시키는 것이 필요하다. EJB를 사용하는 클라이언트로는 JSPP나 에플리케이션 클라이언트, 혹은 또 다른 빈이 될 수 있다 이러한 클라이언트가 사용하는 EJB의 스텁을 클러스터 환경에 적합하도록 구현함으로써 트랜잭션 지역화, 장애 발생시 다른 서버로의 메소드 호출 전환, 동일 가상 머신을 탐지한 메소드 호출 최적화 등의 다양한 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 스마트 스텁의 필요성 및 구현에 대해 논의한다.

본 논문은 EJB 서버의 클러스터링 지원을 위해 구현된, 가변적인 멤버십 관리와 빈 인스턴스 상태 정보 복제 등의 서비스를 제공하는 멀티캐스트 프레임워크에서, 멀티캐스트 통신의 안전성을 보장하기 위한 멤버십 제어, 키 관리, 데이터 보안, 외부 보안 시스템 연동, 보안 정책 관리 등에 대해 논하며 그 구조와 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

Due to the emersion of J2EE(Java 2, Enterprise Edition), many enterprises inside and outside of the country have been developing the enterprise applications appropriate to the J2EE model. With the help of the component model of Enterprise Java Beans(EJH) which is the J2EE core technology, we can develop the distributed object applications quite simple. EJB application can be implemented by using the component-oriented object transaction middleware and the most applications utilize the distributed transaction. EJB developers can concentrate on the business logic because the EJB server covers the middleware service. Due to these characteristics, EJB technology became popular and then the study for EJB based application has been done quite actively However, the research of metrics for measuring the performance during run-time of the EJB applications has not been done enough. Tn this paper, we explore the workflow for the EJB application service on the run-time and classify the internal operation into several elements. We propose the metrics for evaluating the performance up to the bean level by using the classified elements. First, we analyze the lifecycle according to the bean types which comes from the EJB application on the run-time as to extract each factor used in performance measurement. We also find factors related to a performance and allocate the Performance factors to the metrics as the bean types. We also consider the characteristics like the bean's activation and message passing which happens during bean message call and then analyze the relations of the beans participating in the workflow of the application to make the workflow performance measurement possible. And we devise means to bring performance enhancement of the EJB application using the propose.
