영유아보육시설의 생태교육 활성화를 위한 외부공간계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Outdoor Space Planning of Child Care Facility for Ecological Education)

  • The trend emphasizes children-oriented, play-oriented ecological education programs for children's ecological education. And most of these nature -friendly and eco-friendly education takes place outdoors. Therefore, outdoor space planning is important in childcare facilities. This case study aims to analyze the actual conditions of outdoor spaces in daycare centers and to provide standard data for outdoor space planning. In order to provide basic data on the improvement direction and planning standards of outdoor spaces, this present study conducted the composition, utilization status and related problems of outdoor spaces for nature -friendly ecological education in childcare facilities. Accordingly, outdoor space planning for ecological education should consider outdoor space characteristics such as free and easy accessibility between indoor and outdoor spaces, openness of space, flexibility, dynamic/static space, and nature affinity. Therefore, for an ecological education environment, children should be able to freely approach nature and play in the natural environment without any restrictions and artificial controls. Also, in urban areas, natural environment such as parks and open spaces should be considered as outdoor play spaces for children.

도심광장의 생태적건전성 활성화방안 - 강릉시 교동 광장을 사례로 - (A Study of Activating Urban Square's Ecological Soundness - Focusing on Gyodong Square in the City of Gangneung -)

  • This study aimed to investigate the dilapidated Fine View Square located in the city of Gangneung and analyze problems for building it into a sustainable space under an effective management plan. Further to creating an ecological base for restoring the natural circulation, a restorative method for the damaged area, a spatial assignment by the UNESCO's Man and Biosphere Programme (MAB), and an urban ecological park, we not only wanted to provide an environment that is citizen friendly, but also a practical and realizable project to connect with the various methods and programs mentioned above, while utilizing the Ministry of the Environment 's ecosystem conservation fund. In conclusion, we found that it would be possible to contribute to building an urban ecological park the Ministry of Environment proposed while restoring the lost natural circulation in Gyodong Square in the city of Gangneung and ecological soundness of the city along with the reduced heat island effect and the increased biological diversity and Ecological Soundness.

도시 생태공원의 풍환경 평가 적용에 관한 고찰 (Consideration for Application of Wind Environment Assement on Ecological Parks in Cities)

  • 도시공원은 지구온난화와 대기오염을 줄여주고 열섬현상을 완화시켜주는 중추적인 역학을 하고 있다. 그러나 도시공원 일몰제에 따른 2020년 7월 이후 도시공원 제한이 일부 해제될 예정이다. 이에 따라 정부와 지자체는 공원부지 확보와 더불어 생태공원 조성 등 공원 활성화를 위한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 그러나 도시공원 주변에 건설되고 있는 고층건축물에 의해 발생하는 빌딩풍은 보행자에게 불쾌감을 유발할 수 있고, 생태공원에 서식하고 있는 동·식물의 생태계를 위협할 수 있다. 우리나라의 풍환경 평가에 대한 기준은 명확하게 제안된 바가 없으며, 관련 연구 또한 찾아보기 힘들다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국외풍환경 평가기준 및 관련 연구를 검토하여, 풍환경 평가 기준의 중요 인자를 도출하고, 국내 기상관측자료를 이용한 풍환경 평가에 적용 가능성을 검토하였다.

지역성을 고려한 한국형 친환경 아파트의 계획요소 개발연구 - 청주지역을 사례로 - (Design Factors for Korean Style Ecological Apartment according to Locality)

  • This study proposes design factors for Korean style ecological apartment for application in Cheongju. Library and internal surveys were performed to summarize the concept of locality in housing and to determine the present condition of apartment estates which were introduced with design factors according to locality, traditionalism, or ecology, fold surveys were carried out at 10 apartment estates to investigate the present condition of management and residents's un. The interviewees were concierges and representative residents. The following design factors for Korean style ecological apartment to be applied in Cheongju were proposed; layout and building shape according to climate as natural environment, landscape factors according to cultural assets as human environment, adolescent spaces according to population as social environment, road plan according to 'Cheongju Garosu-Gil' civil environment.

제주 곶자왈 숲 자연 놀이 체험 학습이 초등학생의 환경 감수성 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Nature Game Experience Learning on Schoolchild's Environmental Sensitivity Change in Jeju Gotjawal Forest)

  • The aims of this study are to develop and apply a Nature Game program for the ecological experience learning in Jeju Gotjawal forest and analyze the environmental sensitivity change of the students. The results obtained in 4th graders of A elementary school of Seogwipo-city are as follows: It was found that attention, susceptibility and practice will of environment protection for forest environment of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the comparison class. And it was found that interest and curiosity into forest environment were also elevated in the results of the qualitative evaluation, suggesting that we could get the effect of developed Nature Game program on ecological experience learning. If various ecological experience learning programs considering the regional-specific characteristics are developed to cause students' interest and curiosity, students would come to participate in the protection activity of environment aggressively a little more.

황토 마감재의 온도 및 습도 조절성능에 대한 실험적 연구 (Study on the Temperature and Humidity Control Performance of Hwang-toh Finish)

  • This research tried to analyze the effects of ecological materials 'hwang-toh (yellow soil)' on indoor environments. For this purpose, two full scale mock-ups were constructed: one with silk wall paper, which is generally used for indoor finishing and the other with hwang-toh, which is the ecological material for wall finishing. Comparison and performance evaluations were conducted, and the effects of hwang-toh finishing on a humid indoor environment were verified. Through this research, it was verified that a hwang-toh plaster finish is effective in maintaining the comfort of an indoor environment.

사례 분석을 통한 생태 놀이터의 계획 특성 연구 (A Study on the Planning Properties of Ecological Playground through Case Studies)

  • The playgrounds installed in the city try a variety of changes in play equipment more than traditional playgrounds, these playgrounds with formal rides are still different from nature friendly playground. For this reason, when in 2014 the department of environment pushed forward 'Aitteulag' project constructing ecological playground, the department aimed to provide the natural ecological spaces that are insufficient in the city and act as play space for children, leisure and community space for residents. Therefore, after inspecting 10 ecological playgrounds in Europe and Japan, in this study we suggested the construction guidelines of ideal ecological playground by comparing and analyzing these cases. We checked the environment-friendliness of these playgrounds in the 2 fields (playground component, ecological program) based on the ecological playground guidelines presented by the ministry of environment. The playground components are classified as siting location, spatial configurations, natural elements, play area, amusement facilities, play materials, open spaces, additional facilities. The ecological programs are divided into habitat, species, natural material, five senses. The following is the summary of the results about the reflection of eco-friendly planning factors. In terms of "habitat": bush and shade wood were highest at 95%. In terms of "species": local indigene(100%) and habitat for insects(95%) were higher than others. In terms of "natural material": wood(61.1%) was the highest. In terms of "details of wood(61.1%)": wood fence (95%), exploring wood and using sticks(85%) were higher than others. In terms of "five senses": hearing (32.1%), tactile(26.4%), and visual(23.9%) were in order. Therefore, on the basis of these results, this study proposed the planning factors that should be considered and complemented more in the construction of domestic urban ecological playground in future.

생태학습장 이용객의 지각된 성과에 의한 만족도 연구 (A Study on User Satisfaction by Perceived Performance of Ecological Learning Center)

  • An ecological learning center is defined as a place which can establish the correct relationship between human and environment. Human can learn ecosystem and importance of environment throughout observation of nature and participation in program of ecological learning center. The most important aspects of ecological learning center planning are to reflect on user's demand and preservation of ecosystem. The prime goals of this study is to analyze user's characteristics in the Young Wheol Mulmurigol Ecological Learning Center. The second goal of this study is to find out the satisfaction model based on user's perceived performance of each program and facility in the center. For this study, questionnaire survey with 204 individuals was completed. The data from the questionnaire were analyzed statistical method by SPSS. There are several significant results from the study as following First, this ecological learning center as a newly operating facility is used not for educational purpose but for resting and relaxation purpose. It is due to that the most of users in this center are package tourists with historic scenes. Second, user's perceived performance evaluated by 23 attributions of programs and facilities, and these attributions could be classified by 5 factors such as environment friendly design, educational function, preservation of environment, provision of various bio-top and provision of resting area. Third, the user satisfaction model indicates that user satisfaction is depended on various factors such as preservation of environment, provision of various bio-top, provision of resting area. Among these factor affecting the satisfaction, provision of various bio-top is the most influence on user satisfaction.

환경윤리교육의 체용론(體用論)적 접근 방안 - <자연-경제-환경>의 연계성을 중심으로 - (An Alternative Approach to Environmental Ethics Education from the perspectives of CHAE(體)-YONG(用)-SANG(相) Theory)

  • There are some considerations that must take into account in environmental education in the aspect of the difference of value clarification between ecological and economic viewpoint on environment. Although we have a tendency to think that the differences are unavoidable because we are on the economy-oriented life, we should realize that such emphasis to economics comes from the differences between ecological and economic view point on environment. We have lived and thought on the basis of Economic view point, especially, environmental policies are established on the basis of economic efficiency. But this tendency has become great obstacles to environmental ethics education because it dilutes the reason of natural preservation and removes the fundamental reasons why the nature should be preserved. Therefore it is very difficult to balance the value clarification between economic and ecological viewpoint in actual life. Furthermore, environmental problems can not be solved only through economic approach, because of their limits to belief solving from providing incentives. It is very important to make people have a way of thinking which economic activities and debates can be made on the ecological resources. Therefore we can compare this relation to CHAE-YONG founded on Buddism and Chinese philosophy. CHAE means essence of every reaction in the cosmos, and YONG means the reaction itself. CHAE is regarded to ecological resources, and YONG is thought to every-day economic activities. YONG is not able to existwithout CHAE. If economic activities can be done on the basic limit of ecological resources, we can build suitable environment to living condition. We call this appropriate environment as SANG. In other words, the connection of CHAE-YONG-SANG means ecological resources - economic activities - sustainable environment. It is realized that the relations between economics and ecology should be equalized for the balanced environmental ethics education. This study tries to get out of unbalanced relations between economics and ecology from the persepectives of CHAE-YONG-SANG and it was done to suggest an alternative environmental ethics education program
