  • The Purpose of this study is explore the changes of environment in terms of diffusion of EC and to present effective marketing strategies for Electronic Commerce Activation. This paper focuses on the customer management, Real-Time Responding, and market strategies in Electronic Commerce. EC(Electronic Commerce) that out of the evolution of Internet technology gets a corporation changes to survive in 21st century. So the corporation must set the strategy to fit a Internet focused society. This paper is focusing the analysing the difference between the e-marketing and traditional marketing and proposing the new strategical marketing mix. On the Electronic Commerce, the 6Cs of marketing - Contents, Community, Commerce, Connection, Communication, Customizing - are being played out quite differently than they normally are offline. In conclusion, the change in Electronic Commerce environment results in (1) redefinition of customer group, (2) different marketing strategies to fit in Electronic Commerce environment, and (3) changes in customer management, promotion strategy, advertizing appeal.

Construction EC Strategy Model and Improving Fields for Global EC Transition (건설 EC화 활성화를 위한 상품별 전략모델 및 개선분야)

  • Since the early 1990s, Korean construction companies have strived to evolve into global Engineering Construction (EC) companies. However, such efforts have been unsuccessful, partly due to a lack of clear objectives and a misunderstanding of the direction that needed to be taken for such a change. A better understanding is required with respect to the need to transform into an EC company in the context of the rapidly changing global construction environment. This research investigates major EC companies from around the world, and assesses the status of domestic companies' efforts for EC transition. The results of these investigations revealed that domestic firms need to better prioritize their strengths for different markets, i.e., decide whether to implement directly, outsource or limit to process management. In addition, the investigations showed that the global market is shifting from monolithic projects to more complex projects. Such projects require firms with the ability to develop and implement high front-end investment strategies, planning capabilities, and pre-design management skills. Accordingly, we recommend that firms differentiate themselves by developing such a skill set required for specific products.

Experimental study on the effect of EC-TMD on the vibration control of plant structure of PSPPs

  • A high-frequency vibration control method is proposed in this paper for Pumped Storage Power Plants (PSPPs) using Eddy Current Tuned Mass Damper (EC-TMD), based on which a new type of EC-TMD device is designed. The eddy current damper parameters are optimized by numerical simulation. On this basis, physical simulation model tests are conducted to compare and study the effect of structural performance with and without damping, different control strategies, and different arrangement positions of TMD. The test results show that EC-TMD can effectively reduce the control effect under high-frequency vibration of the plant structure, and after the additional damping device forms EC-TMD, the energy dissipation is further realized due to the intervention of eddy current damping, and the control effect is subsequently improved. The Multi-Tuned Mass Damper (MTMD) control strategy broadens the tuning band to improve the robustness of the system, and the vibration advantage is more obvious. Also, some suggestions are made for the placement of the dampers to promote their application.

  • The current economic environmental changes such as globalization, information and opening of the market is calling for or needing the more rapid change of management and/or marketing strategies of the company than they did before to survive in tile borderless international competition. Under this situation, this study focuses on the correspondence strategies of Electronic Commerce which is one of the key elements to overcome or lead the above demands through seeking the problems of the current EC acception and application specially in Chollabuk Do province. For the above purpose, this study surveys the questionary with business firms of above area and figures out what is the correlation between business form and size and EC acception and application and what is the problems on it. And than provides several counter strategies which are following based on the survey to keep this area companies from out of business and lead the above economic environmental changes. To expand the adoption and application of EC to this area, firstly, top managers of the company must recognize the necessity and importance of EC compared with traditional commerce and change their perception and attitude concerning EC positively, and than try to accept it as soon as possible. Secondly, the company need the retained earning to invest to EC and educate their managers and employees with total participation. Thirdly, local government has to improve its attention to EC as a best way or opportunity to reduce and overcome the economical gap and development its economy because EC can remove the physical time or distance and space, scale and capital limitations. Finally, government has to expand and establish information infrastructure such as technical infrastructure(communication and security technology), Functional infrastructure like standard protocol, Organizational infrastructure(interchange agreement, relative law) and social infrastructure to improve efficient electronic transaction which can Increase the company' international compatitiveness under the current economy trend.

한국형 전자상거래 및 Web-EDI

  • This study is to understand the concept of CALS and EC which is based on the recent information technology and internet, and to introduce a business situation of Korean model of electronic commerce and WEB-EDI and suggest its development direction for the future. In that, with the development of the telecommunication technology and the proliferation of Internet, electronic commerce and WEB-EDI is expected to be escalated rapidly, the general examples in this study are thought to be greatly helpful to its development. In addition, the information including global trend of electronic commerce and domestic situation of EDI-VAN is provided on the practical basis with figures. The strategy for developing the domestic CALS/EC is suggested as guideline which leads to actively perform the business in these area triggered by government and private entities.

A Study on the Purchase Factor with Goods Type in the B to C EC (B to C EC에서의 제품유형별 구매요인)

  • With the rapid spreading of the internet that is based on the development of the information network system, the paradigms of "internet round" and "cyber" are given much weight in the notion of "market." Especially, the cyber shopping for the individuals is developing rapidly creating the new life style, and also in the domestic economy the cases of building and running the cyber shopping malls are increasing. The purpose of this study is to analyse the customers' shopping styles that can be shown when the customers purchase physical goods or digital goods at the B to C EC and find the way to activate the shopping malls by controlling the factors which influence the trade. The result of the study is as follows: First, to analyse the acting style of the customers at the B to C EC, it is searched whether there is any relationship between the purchasing goods, which are divided into physical goods and digital goods. There was a cross analysis between the first factor of the five factors of the purchase decision or delay at the B to C EC and the goods type. The result of the analysis is that the purchase decision factor is different according as what type of goods is purchased. On the other hand, the purchase delay factor has no relation with the goods type. Second, the fact that the cyber shopping activities are quite different according to sexuality, age, academic background, or occupation suggests that these factors are very important to the strategy for the market-specification of the B to C EC marketing construction. The result shown in this study is sure to give great help to figure out the improvement strategies and the market-specialization strategies to accelerate the B to C EC marketing. On the side of the strategies for the improvement of the goods services, more attention should be given to the functional side for the improvement of the reliability of the goods service such as capacity, technique, and quality. And the activities of the customers are so different according to the vital statistics that the way to cope with the changeability properly should be considered.

An Extended Negotiation Agent Using Multi-Issues under Time-Constraint Environment (시간제약 환경에서 다중 속성을 이용한 확장된 협상 에이전트)

  • The Internet has become a part of our life and has changed our living environments dramatically. However, Electronic Commerce (EC) stays currently at a level that a buyer deals only with an one-sided condition (price) proposed by a seller or compares the proposed condition to find a better one. As the agent technology makes progress, EC requires negotiation that is not one-sided but is a way to maximize profits of both seller and buyer. Moreover, negotiation in EC should consider multiple issues rather than a single issue to replace the traditional commerce. In this paper we propose a negotiation model, which guarantees balanced profits between two agents through negotiation using multi-issues, and makes a deal successfully under time-constraint environment. The proposed negotiation model suggests strategies(alternative and simultaneous strategy) that change the value of issues with each agent has time for negotiation. In this paper, we also suggest a strategy that proposes an offer to each other. We compare the proposed negotiation model with another negotiation model. The experimental results show that dynamic conceder tactic and linear tactic showed balanced profits and a high percentage of deals for negotiation between two agents, and the sum of utilities of two agents is high, when the alternative strategy is used.

  • As a new environment, the Internet proposes to us the innovation of our life. New information technologies(IT) have enabled and stimulated new organizational forms. Electronic Commerce is the new economy that changes the pattern of our life and the form of business transaction. Electronic Commerce is rapidly growing due to the increasing of internet user and the development of information technology. With the emergence of the Internet, a totally new business, the electronic commerce(EC) is emerging. Internet EC brings in many benifits to the organization such as reduced costs, fast turnaround, better customer service, and in some firms strategic advantage over their competitors. As a newly created interior design paradigm, this proposal presents its utmost advantage, interlocking interior design firm management with virtual reality of internet. Appropriately interacting on-line with off-line in virtual reality of internet improves the image of interior design firm and makes the best use of its identity in marketing. This application can rightly attract consumers' interest. Analyzing the market, the most important thing in marketing is to anticipate consumers' existing and possible demand in future. In other word, servicing consumers with idea efficiently is competence. Hemorrhagic Moyamoya Disease : A Recent Update

  • Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a progressive cerebrovascular disease with unknown etiology, characterized by bilateral steno-occlusive changes at the terminal portion of the internal carotid artery and an abnormal vascular network formation at the base of the brain. MMD has an intrinsic nature to convert the vascular supply for the brain from internal carotid (IC) system to the external carotid (EC) system, as indicated by Suzuki's angiographic staging. Insufficiency of this 'IC-EC conversion system' could result not only in cerebral ischemia, but also in intracranial hemorrhage from inadequate collateral anastomosis, both of which represent the clinical manifestation of MMD. Surgical revascularization prevents cerebral ischemic attack by improving cerebral blood flow, and recent evidence further suggests that extracranial-intracranial bypass could powerfully reduce the risk of re-bleeding in MMD patients with posterior hemorrhage, who were known to have extremely high re-bleeding risk. Although the exact mechanism underlying the hemorrhagic presentation in MMD is undetermined, most recent angiographic analysis revealed the characteristic angio-architecture related to high re-bleeding risk, such as the extension and dilatation of choroidal collaterals and posterior cerebral artery involvement. We sought to update the current management strategy for hemorrhagic MMD, including the outcome of surgical revascularization for hemorrhagic MMD in our institute. Further investigations will clarify the optimal surgical strategy to prevent hemorrhagic manifestation in patients with MMD.

A Study on the Source Profile Development for Fine Particles (PM2.5) Emitted from Biomass Burning (Biomass-burning에서 배출되는 미세입자 (PM2.5)의 배출원 구성물질 성분비 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study was performed to develop the source profiles for fine particles ($PM_{2.5}$) emitted from the biomass burning. The multi-method research strategy included a usage of combustion devices such as field burning, fireplace, and residential wood burning to burn rice straw, fallen leaves, pine tree, and oak tree. The data were collected from multiple sources and measured water-soluble ions, elements, elemental carbon (EC), and organic carbon (OC). From this study, it turned out that OC (34~67%) and EC (1.2~39%) are the major components emitted from biomass burning. In the case of burning rice straw at field burning, OC (66.6%) was the most abundant species, followed by EC (4.3%), $Cl^-$ (3.6%), Cl (2.1%), and $SO^{2-}_4$(1.9%). Burning rice straw, fallen leaves, pine tree, and oak tree at fireplace, the amount of OC was 58.5%, 52.7%, 52.5%, and 61.2%, and that of EC was 1.2%, 18.4%, 36.5%, and 2.7%, respectively. The ratio of OC for the burning of pine tree and oak tree from the residential wood burning device was 56.9% and 34.3%, and that of EC was 25% and 38.6%, respectively. Applying the measured data with respect to the proportion of components emitted from biomass burning to reference model, it turned out that self-diagnosed result was appropriate level, and the result based on the model is in highly corresponding to actual timing of biomass burning.
