The electronic commerce site (EC site) has become an important marketing channel where consumers can purchase many kinds of products; their access logs, including purchase records and browsing histories, are saved in the EC sites' databases. These log data can be utilized for the purpose of web marketing. The customers who purchase many product items are good customers, whereas the other customers, who do not purchase many items, must not be good customers even if they browse many items. If the attributes of good customers and those of other customers are clarified, such information is valuable as input for making a new marketing strategy. Regarding the product items, the characteristics of good items that are bought by many users are valuable information. It is necessary to construct a method to efficiently analyze such characteristics. This paper proposes a new latent class model to analyze both purchasing and browsing histories to make latent item and user clusters. By applying the proposal, an example of data analysis on an EC site is demonstrated. Through the clusters obtained by the proposed latent class model and the classification rule by the decision tree model, new findings are extracted from the data of purchasing and browsing histories.

Many issues about portability and extension of system converting and exchanging information using XML standard data are being studied currently. This paper proposes design using XML processing layer for mediation between client and server to solve the development cost problem for compatibility and extension of client/server environment. This maintains mediation role for programming development between client and server and increases extension of system and portability of hetero geneous environment. This paper implements and designs XML data processing system for EC using XML DB among hetrogeneous databases. We expect cost-down by maintenance of system using this architecture for electronic commerce.

In this thesis a shipping broker agent system, which can be executed by a CORBA-based environment using the distributed object technique, CORBA is designed and implemented Nowadays, while the EC system is extensive on the web, legacy host systems have limitations and its capacity-upgrade os required. In order to solve these problems the method that distributes programs into several computer systems can reduce their loads, set low system capacity and minimize network bottleneck. In this thesis using Agent Communication Language(ACL), we propose an agent based prototype and implement an intelligent agent prototype for ships search using CORBA, which can exchange and shiare data between different systems.

Many e-Learning companies are incorporated for the last five years, but most of them are failed or merged by the other company. The main reasons are the absence of competitive strategies and recognition of critical success factors. There are many researches on the critical success factors of Information System (IS) and Electronic Commerce (EC) . We derived e-Learning success factors from the previous IS and EC researches. We classified the success factors into five dimensions, (1) contents management, (2) learner management, (3) business strategy, (4) organizational support and ability, (5) learning management system (LMS), and each dimension has 9 or more success factors measurement items. We surveyed the perceived importance of the success factors from the manager of South Korea e-Learning firms. The paper categorized the items into two or more factors for each dimension by the exploratory factor analysis. Finally, we conducted one-way ANOVA for each success factors by the business model. As a result, there is different importance level for each success factors by the business model. We concluded that each e-Learning company needs different strategies to their business model.

At present, most Electronic Commerce System is made mainstream of Server-Client Commerce. For searching goods information, we must entering the EC sites and search that s information. but, P2P(Peer to Peer) System being escape traditional structure, Server-Client, it enable information transact between users, and resolve the problem of network, add-cost of server-ensurance, etc. Also, it is possible to trade information between person to person, client to provide. In this paper, we investigate on-going p2p models and study on the p2p based control based system.

Recently there are many changes of logistics environment Such as integrated logistics information system, the rapid growth of the domestic and international small package express service and third party logistics with Electronic Commerce. At this time it is very important to deliver to customers the goods sold through EC speedy, accurately and safely. That is to say, the role of small package express service is very important at EC times. The bottlenecks of small package express service in the circumstances of EC are the weakness of EC operating company and small package express service provider the shortage of distribution centre and cargo terminal, the shortage of skilled man with related small package express service etc. So, I suggested that for activation of EC it is necessary to strengthen the strategic alliances, introduce GPS and use the third party logistics positively in the side of small package express service provider. And it is necessary to prepare for the settlements of traffic problems, support the introduction of integrated logistics service, logistics information system, deregulate restriction such as weight limit of vehicles in the side of the government. And to government support throughout extending nation's SOC, deregulation, support to small package express service terminal, permit to stopping & parking in downtown, abolishing a no passing zone, permit to being employed foreigner. Also this service involves ensuring that the product will arrive when wanted, and in an undamaged condition.

Security is very important in EC(Electronic Commerce) environment because exchanged information(that is transaction details, private data, charges data(card-no, accounts), etc) is various and is very sensitive. So, In this paper, we propose Secure-ReXpis(Reliable St excellent Xh3 Processing Infrastructure) System that transfer message and support Message Level Security(Encryption/Decryption and Digital Signature). And we implement Message Confidentiality Service, User Authentication ＆ Message Integrity Service and Non-Repudiation Service among the various Security Services. This system support XML message format and EDI message, WEB Data and Private Format Data, etc.

Product catalog information is the most important factor to make customers purchase the product for various B2B or B2C businesses provided on the Internet. As catalog information differs from company by company, it cannot provide common criteria standard to customers to make decisions. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a platform independent system, which integrates incompatible data from each company' catalogs and manages its database. This paper describes the integrated E-catalog system made up DB module, catalog management module, and interface module. This system allows customers to view standardized product catalog information from different companies with real -time updates, and also provides extensibility, flexibility, and interoperability for the effective E-Business management.

As Electronic Commerce is expanding its area rapidly and various web applications are developed by using SQL Query Language. This paper described a method of data accessing and transformation via HTTP. Recently, domestic datawarehouse marketplaces take up the most important part of information technology investments with ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning), EC(Electronic Commerce) construction projects in spite of a business slowdown for IMF environment. Therefore, in industrial fields as finances, communications, manufactures, distributions, and so on, datawarehouse was constructed or is under construction, and datawarehouse success stories was showed around some enterprises that has constructed previously datawarehouse. This study is intended to be henceforth an index and direction for an actual proof study by discussing a study of methodology for datawarehouse construction in order to compare and analyze Top-down & Bottom-up approach for datawarehouse that has constructed in actual enterprises.
