Fashion products are frequently purchased on impulse and are also one of the most popular product categories sold online. Online environment attributes can facilitate flow experiences that are described as an optimal psychological state reached during an engagement in activities (e.g., games and e-shopping). This study estimated the path model to examine the causal relationships among shopping mall attributes, flow, e-impulse buying, and consumer satisfaction for fashion products. A total of 598 usable questionnaires were obtained from college students who had purchased fashion products through the Internet. Data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and path analysis using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results showed that e-shopping mall attributes (visual attributes and product attributes) significantly influenced e-impulse buying (fashion-oriented impulse buying and promotion-oriented impulse buying) which was mediated by the consumer flow experience and then influenced by consumer satisfaction. In the path model, the flow was stimulated by shopping mall attributes, the e-impulse buying was influenced by flow, and the consumer satisfaction was influenced by e-impulse buying. Flow was the most highly related to the fashion-oriented impulse buying, and followed by the relationship of the flow and promotion-oriented impulse buying in the context of e-shopping for fashion products. A managerial implication was discussed for fashion product e-retailers to develop strategies on visual attributes and product attributes that could stimulate and increase the consumer flow to trigger impulse buying as well as consumer satisfaction.

E-shopping is traditional method to purchase products in a modern society. Fashion products are one of the most popular product categories sold and impulsively bought online. This study examined the causal relationship of shopping value, positive emotion, urge to buy impulsively, and e-impulse buying in the context of shopping for apparel products. A self-administered questionnaire developed from the literature was administered in class to 501 female college students in Busan. AMOS 21.0 estimated the structural equation model of e-impulse buying using a correlation matrix with a maximum likelihood. The analysis of the data supported most of the predictions. The results suggested that consumer shopping values (hedonic shopping value and utilitarian shopping value) had a positive effect on positive emotion; in addition, positive emotion urge to buy impulsively directly affected the e-impulse buying of apparel products. In the structural model, e-impulse buying of consumers can be predicted by the attitudinal component (e.g., shopping values), emotional factors (e.g., enthusiastic or proud), and the urge to buy impulsively felt by young consumers. There are implications that both positive emotion and impulsive buying are important predictors for the e-impulse buying of apparel products by consumers. Moreover, the urge to buy impulsively was an important mediator to determine the e-impulse buying of apparel products. This study provides insight to retailers and researchers to understand the structural relationship of consumer characteristics and the e-impulse buying of apparel products.
This study tested how the mobile impulse buying(m-impulse buying) of fashion products was related to shopping motives and mobile applications(apps) browsing in the context of mobile shopping. A total of 316 self-administered questionnaires were obtained from college students who had experienced m-impulse buying of fashion products during the most recent six months. A structural equation model using a correlation matrix with maximum likelihood was estimated for examining the relationships among shopping motives(e.g., hedonic shopping motive and utilitarian shopping motive), apps browsing, and m-impulse buying of fashion products(e.g., fashion-oriented impulse buying and pure impulse buying) by AMOS 21.0. Findings showed that hedonic shopping motive and utilitarian shopping motive had significant effects on apps browsing in their mobile shopping. Apps browsing had a significant effect on fashion-oriented impulse buying, but did not significantly effect on pure impulse buying of fashion products. Additionally, the hedonic shopping motive had directly significant effects on both fashion-oriented impulse buying and pure impulse buying, whereas the utilitarian shopping motive significantly effected on only the pure impulse buying of fashion products in their shopping. This study suggests that the hedonic shopping motive played an important role to determine the m-impulse buying of fashion products and the utilitarian shopping motive played a role in activating apps browsing relevant to mobile shopping for fashion products. Managerial implications are discussed for retailers related to the fashion products in mobile shopping.
Purpose: This study's purpose is to conduct empirical research on online comments affect Vietnamese consumers' impulsive buying in e-distribution. This study also considers affecting of browsing toward the urge to buy, and the urge to buy toward impulse buying in e-distribution. Research design, data and methodology: This study used the non-probability method to assemble data from 273 customers' online buying experiences via a Google Forms online survey. By using SmartPLS, the data were examined for reliability, convergent validity, discriminant validity of the variables, and proposed hypothesis testing. Results: The empirical study discovered that internet comments with utilitarian and hedonistic values had a positive effect on browsing, the urge to buy, and impulse purchases in e-distribution. Additionally, the result revealed that browsing had a positive influence on the urge to purchase. Likewise, the findings also disclosed that the urge to buy had a favorable effect on impulse buying. Conclusions: This study offered a thorough conceptual model of internet feedback influencing browsing, urge to buy, and impulsive purchases in e-distribution. Also, to increase impulsive buying, this study will assist e-distribution managers in concentrating on developing innovative marketing strategies and action plans that take into consideration consumers' internet reviews, browsing, and urge to buy.

Thanks to the growth of information technology (IT), e-commerce transactions are rapidly developing. Consumers searched and purchased for products and services through e-commerce transactions and felt excitement and satisfaction through shopping behaviors in online shopping malls. The enlargement of company's marketing efforts and consumer tastes of the uncontrolled consumption for goods and services increased the impulsive purchase in online shopping malls. In diffusing consumers' e-impulse buying, consumers increased in expenditures according to unnecessary purchasing behavior in online shopping malls. However, enterprises increased sales and benefits due to consumers' impulse buying in online shopping malls. Accordingly, in research areas of enterprises and consumers levels, the studies of e-impulse buying will provide significant values for marketers of companies. In this study, we analyzed the relationships among intention to use, trust, and value in online shopping malls. And we also analyzed the moderating effect of e-impulse buying with utilitarian and hedonic value to establish trust in online shopping malls. The result of this study showed that hedonic and utilitarian value should have a positive impact trust and trust should have a positive impact intention to use in the online shopping malls. The e-impulsive buying showed a moderating effect on the relationship between hedonic value and trust in online shopping malls. The e-impulsive buying didn't show, however, a moderating effect on the between utilitarian value and trust in online shopping malls. The results of this study will provide valuable implications for implementing e-commerce strategies.
Consumers tend to perceive the shoes as just their footwear to protect and comfort foot and fashion products to decorate and express their self-images. Even though online market research analysis indicated shoes consumption is important in daily life of consumers, there is limited research that was conducted specifically on shoes e-market. The research investigates the process of shoes' e-impulse buying focusing on the effects of shopping orientation, marketing stimulus and consumers' perceived risk in shoes market at Internet. A total of 408 self-administered questionnaires were obtained from universities students, who had experienced the e-impulse buying of shoes at least once for the last six months. Results confirmed that consumers who had higher hedonic shopping orientation or brand shopping orientation were more likely to consider the marketing stimuli (e.g., promotion stimuli and product stimuli), whereas consumers who had higher economic shopping orientation were consider the lower marketing stimuli and the more perceived functional risk in the e-shopping context of shoes. For shoes, marketing stimulus had directly positive effects on e-impulse buying, while consumers' perceived risk had no significant effects on e-impulse buying. The findings suggest that the market stimulus, which is affected by consumers' shopping orientation, is an important factor in triggering e-impulse buying of shoes.
The purpose of this research was to study four impulse buying dimensions and planned buying, marketing stimulus factors in store, buying im-pulse and impulse buying of female consumer. The female consumers were divided into three groups, i.e., college students, housewives and workingwomen. 408 women living in Kyung Nam were selected as respondents by convenience sampling methods. The results of this research can be summarized as follows. 1. The overall impulses were stronger for college students and workingwomen than house-wives. The impulse buying dimensions were different according to the status of women. 2. Buying impulse and impulse buying of clothing were more likely to be for college students and working women than housewives. 3. The display in the store gave the information to the three groups equally. These infor-mations helped to make the impulse buying. 4. The marketing stimulus factors were different according to the status of respondents. Sensitive and aesthetic factors were important for college students and workingwomen, and the utility of clothing were important for house-wives. The color of clothing, the discount of regular price and the low price had the same meanings to the three groups. 5. Impulse buying dimensions were effected by the marketing stimulus factors. 6. The fashionable products, the use of credit card, famous brand, gracious display of clothing and the kind services of salesman were the common factors that stimulate the consumer to buy the clothings. But the color and design of products had more effect on the college students, and the discount of regular price and the utility of clothing were more important for the workingwomen. The color and the utility of clothing were stimulus factors for the housewives.
Live commerce has recently received substantial attention due to the spread of the non-face-to-face consumption culture driven by the COVID-19 pandemic. Live commerce has a higher purchase conversion rate than other forms of commerce. Accordingly, the likelihood of impulse buying in a live commerce environment is expected to be high. However, there is a shortage of research on consumer impulse buying in the live commerce environment. This study designs a scenario-based experiment using the integrated model of consumption impulse formation and enactment. Through this method, this study validates the influence of the characteristics of live commerce (i.e., vicarious experience and real-time interaction) on consumers' likelihood of impulse buying and further examines the moderating role of a live commerce host feature (i.e., professionalism) in these relationships. The results of this study confirm that both vicarious experience and real-time interaction have a positive effect on consumers' likelihood of impulse buying and that professionalism strengthens the impact of vicarious experience on the likelihood of impulse buying. This study's scenario-based experimental design is meaningful because it analyzes the likelihood of impulse buying in the context of live commerce shopping. Additionally, it provides live commerce service and platform providers with practical insights into how to maximize profits and operate services more efficiently.

Consumers nowadays spend more time using computers and are getting used to buying products through the Internet(Park, 2002), and therefore, understanding consumers' impulse buying behavior in an online shopping context is also important for retailers. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between online apparel impulse buying behavior and the two risk dimensions of apparel involvement(i.e., risk importance, risk probability). The data were collected using an online survey with a structured questionnaire. A total of 339 college students were used in the study. The results of MANOVA showed that the impulse buyer group perceived the risk importance and risk probability of apparel involvement significantly lower. Based on the results, the two hypotheses were supported. From the results of the present study, it is concluded that the two risk dimensions of apparel involvement are negatively related to online impulse buying behavior of apparel products. From the results of the present study, it is concluded that the risk dimensions of apparel involvement are closely related to the online apparel impulse buying behavior.
Live-streaming commerce is attracting attention as a noticeable trend in the retail industry. It is a new mobile shopping service platform developed by combining live streaming with e-commerce technologies. This study examined the impact of para-social interactions on consumer impulse buying behavior and investigated the impact through task complexity as well as perceived amount of information. To achieve this goal, 203 women using a mobile commerce participated in an online survey after experiencing beauty live-streaming commerce. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0, AMOS 23.0, and SPSS PROCESS Macro program. The results of the study revealed that para-social interactions negatively influenced task complexity, positively influenced perceived amounts of information, and positively influenced impulse buying behavior. In addition, impulse buying behavior was negatively influenced by task complexity versus positively that was influenced by perceived amounts of information. The impact of para-social interactions on impulse buying behavior is mediated by task complexity and perceived information. The findings of this study contribute to the theoretical extension of para-social interaction on impulse buying behavior in the context of live-streaming commerce. The implications of the findings suggest practical marketing strategies for digital media commerce retailers.
