This paper deals with the e-Commerce Cooperation between South and North Korea for Promotion of GaeSung Industrial Complex that has been evaluated as the most successful project for inviting the foreign investment of South Korea because many small and medium enterprises are rushing to invest to that Complex. The e-Commerce cooperation between South and North Korea in GaeSung Industrial Complex are playing a role for North Korea survives in the global digital world in that the cooperation is shifted to IT and e-commerce as well as. North Korea has the policy to increase national wealth to uphold the IT industry. The e-Commerce Cooperation between South and North Korea in GaeSung Industrial Complex will develop the e-commerce in North Korea and increase the e-Commerce between South and North Korea in the future.

As increasing the failure of distribution transformers, we need to manage them efficiently. This paper proposes the method for distribution transformer's management using loss-of-life calculation. The Data Acquisition System(DAS) was developed to manage transformers and the HDLC protocol applied to the system. It will be feasible application to diagnose distribution transformers by checking load conditions such as top oil temperature, ambient temperature, load current, etc. and using loss-of-life calculation.

Before performing an adaptive stereo matching using satellite images, classification is needed as a preprocessing step. This paper describes that classification of three land cover types : river, mountain, and agricultural fields. We proposed that classification algorithm using pyramid structure and texture features. Results of applying the proposed algorithm to satellite image improved classification accuracy.

This paper presents a method that can be used to reduce the decoding computational complexity in turbo codes. To reduce the decoding complexity we proposed an adaptive sliding window method which control the learning period of Viterbi sliding window method depending on channel signal to interference ratio (SIR). When received signal to interference ratio (SIR) is relatively high, we can reduce the decoding complexity without a noticeable degradation of BER performance at CDMA cellular system with power control error.

The use electron-beam(E-beam) manufacturing system provides a means to alleviate optic exposure equipment's problems. We are developing an E-beam manufacturing system with scanning electron microscope(SEM) function. The E-beam manufacturing system consist of high voltage generator, beam blanker, condenser lenses, object lenses, stigmator and stage. The development of E-beam manufacturing system is used on the method of remaking SEM's structure. The functions of SEM are developed. It is important for the test of E-beam performance. In E-beam manufacturing system and SEM, beam focus is important function. In this paper, we propose intelligent remote control function for beam focus in E-beam manufacturing system. The function extends the user's function and gives convenience.

Web usability for e-commerce sites becomes a more important issue as e-commerce gains its popularity. As for agricultural products, consumers are especially sensitive to the quality of information during transaction process. Successful e-commerce sites of agricultural products, such as Wine.com and Tesco, identified regular usability testing as part of key success factors. This paper aims to identify processes for evaluating usability for e-commerce sites of agricultural products and provide strategies to improve usability. The study aims to evaluate e-commerce usability of selected e-commerce sites using heuristic evaluation to provide objective e-commerce sites usability analysis for each transaction process.

The information technology, in the digital economy era, does a very important role not only for the country's administrative management innovation but also for the business and for the everyday life. Specifically, the e-business for the company or organization is defined as "using the Internet and IT, rescheduling of business process management activities to increase productivity and efficiency and to create new business opportunities." Thanks to the Korea's recent efforts, overall level of informatization and digitalization is able to receive high praise. But the e-business readiness (e-readiness) level is still expected a lot of room for improvement. In this paper, I try to analyze the informatization level of Korea's by the EIU's e-business readiness index and IT industry competitiveness index, to prepare a full-scale e-business era of global competitiveness through any preparation that could do to improve the situation from the analysis of statistical data.

Because XML is a W3C standard and has characteristics like platform-independent, it has a critical role in e-commerce. Business rules and procedures should be standardized for efficient B2B integration. But a lot of companies has its own XML documents instead of standard documents. Therefore many organizations try to make standards for e-commerce based on framework. In this paper, n messaging system is designed and implemented. Client request service in a XML and server return response in XML in this system. So we can more easily and efficiently build e-Procurement system based on this XML messaging system.

E-business including e-commerce boosts the competitiveness of corporations remarkably through the creation of new value added, positioning itself as the key to national competitive edge. Thus, advanced nations and international organizations such as WTO and OECD are structuring a positive support system for e-transformation. Korea also has been pushing for activating e-business at the government level since 2000. ECRC(Electronic Commerce Resource Centers) project is an efficient government initiative and inter-agency coordination in implementing e-Business policy for industry. This project has been sponsored by the MOCIE and operated through prime contracts with KIEC. ECRCs provide such services as educational training, technology transfer, consulting and information service related to e-Business for industry. They had given the digital opportunity demanded by industry from 1997 but in these days there are many other new e-business activating projects in Korea. This paper sought to study a strategic reform plan of ECRC.

From the growth of Internet technology, many e-commerce principles have been introduced in airline industry. The computer reservation systems(CRS) is the first real-time business application and considered as the earliest examples of e-commerce. In airlines, the early e-business activity was to build the web site for providing flight information to customers. Recently, many airlines are expanding the capability of the web site for selling tickets on the web to make use of the cheaper distribution channel. In this paper, we focus on the impacts of airline e-business being implemented in airline distribution channels. Using the conjoint analysis, we suggest a model for estimating the change of market sales for each distribution channel. With the empirical survey, we can find some implications on the e-business strategy and the effective internet marketing tools for airlines.
