The ROLE OF SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES IN EFFECTIVE E-RECRUITMEN; A STUDY OF TELECOM SECTOR IN CONTEXT OF PAKISTAN

  • In cut throat competition, organizations all over the world try to utilize the immense opportunities the Internet has to offer in almost all of their operations. Today, Social networking sites (SNSs) provide utilities designed to help companies to recruit right personnel. Considering the implication of social media for recruitment at infancy stage in Pakistan and lack of studies related to it, this study aims to investigate the role of different SNSs qualities (Easily navigate, Secure process, Eminence Proficiency, Candidate's Attraction and Network Expedition) in effective E-recruitment (EER). Data were collected through structured questionnaire from employees and managers of major telecom companies of Pakistan. Finally, the result of 355 returned and valid questionnaire with 55% response rate show that the relationship between SNSs qualities and EER is significant. Moreover, results also prove that EER is better than the tradition recruitment and a SNSs comparison show that Facebook is more effective than LinkedIn for EER. The results of this study will help Pakistani companies to develop a successful e-HRM and EER strategy in the current scenario.

Studying Retailer Strategies through an Integrated E-Business Model: a Multi-Agent Approach

  • Agent technology has been widely applied in today's electronic business, such as mobile agents, multi-agent information systems, etc. In particular, multi-agent systems have been applied as powerful simulation tools to study complex business networks composed of various self-interested trading firms and/or human beings. In this paper, we build an integrated model that consists of a multi-agent B2C market model and a B2B trade network model, and incorporate more reality than much of prior work. Then with this model, we carry out experimental studies on two different strategies that are common in electronic business - 'loyal' strategy (retailers try to build stable cooperation with suppiers to ensure material supply) and 'cost-saving' strategy (retailers try to reduce cost by choosing suppliers with lower wholesale price).

  • As the importance of time-based competition is increasing, information systems for supporting the immediate decision making is strongly required. Especially high -tech product firms are under extreme pressure of rapid response to the demand side due to relatively short life cycle of the product. Therefore, the objective of our research is proposing a framework of estimating demand curve based on e-auction data, which is extremely easy to access and well reflect the limited demand curve in that channel. Firstly, we identify the advantages of using e-auction data for full demand curve estimation and then verify it using Agent-Eased-Modeling and Tobin's censored regression model.

  • The mobile industry is the key foundation of digital convergence, and its constant growth is expected. Among mobile industries, new products leading the development of devices are the Emerging Device. This study is conducted to find out factors making differentiated by comparing the structural equation model(SEM) of the Tablet PC and the e-Book Reader. The main findings are as follows. First, the application of TAM to the Emerging Device shows that fitness of the model is generally high but the effect of Perceived Ease of Use has not been verified or found insignificant. Second, the acceptance model of the Tablet PC and the e-Book Reader has found that playfulness stimulates acceptance intentions. Third, the cost level of the Emerging Device acceptance model is not a factor stimulating consumers' acceptance intentions. Fourth, product attributes of the Tablet PC and the e-Book Reader to differentiate themselves from the other device are Functionality and Playfulness respectively.

  • In this study, we investigated the repeated vist of the e-village shopping mall as an online agricultural business platform. We applied Pine and Gilmore (1998) theory for the e-village website information systems. We hypothesized that 4 dimensions such as entertainment experience, educational experience, esthetic experience, and escapist experience toward satisfaction and, moreover, we investigated the moderating trust effect of satisfaction and repeated visit website. We set those independent variables (entertainment experience, educational experience, esthetic experience, and escapist experience) and dependent variable as experience satisfaction. The results indicated that the 4 experiences factors had a positive effect on the experiential satisfaction, and the trust moderating effect has a negative effection between the experiential satisfaction and the repeated visit. The experiential satisfaction had a positive effect on the repeated visit of e-village websites.

  • This paper object is application of electronic Customers Relationship Management(e-CRM) for buyer relationship commitment in korea export firms. So, I'd like to suggest some applications of e-CRM needed to strengthen the export firms in korea. These applications are as follows First, the export companies are required to e-CRM logical architecture that is needs to achievement of buyer relationship commitment. Second, Buyer data source is classify in to three large group by outside data, transaction data and support data. Third, a concept and function of buyer information database. Fourth, e-CRM campaign management for export marketing. Fifth, interaction of buyer and customizing. finally, a point to be considered of korea export companies are national character, data mining out of buyer information database, difference of data gathering and sustaining up date of buyer's new information.

전자상거래에서의 소비자 피해에 관한 연구 (Research for the Consumer's Damage in Electronic Commerce)

  • As e-commerce is expanding rapidly, the consumer's damage in the e-commerce is also dramatically increased. This research was mainly focused on the consumer's damage experiences through the e-commerce, the consumer's behavior's when they were confronted with troubles, and the way to handle their damages in the e-commerce. Main findings are as follows. 1) More than $90\%$ of respondents answered that they had experienced troubles at least once out of 49 troubles listed in the questionnaire. 2) Most consumers did complain their damages actively and tried to obtain proper cure from the seller. 3) Normally, they were used to adjust their purchasing behaviors to avoid the problems rather than actively taking advantage of the official authorities or private consumer organizations to solve the problems.

대학 산림교육의 웹기반 프로젝트 학습법(e-PBL) 적용 사례와 학습성과 (An Application and Educational Outcomes of e-PBL (e-Project-based Learning) to University Forest Education)

  • 본 연구는 대학 산림교육 발전을 목적으로 S 대학교 산림과학과 4학년 "도시림관리학 및 실습" 전공과목에 e-PBL (e-Project-based learning) 학습법을 적용한 사례를 소개한다. 특히 2020년 코로나-19 확산으로 비대면 학사 운영 상황에서 학습자들은 온라인 매체를 주로 활용하여 학교숲을 대상으로 프로젝트를 수행하고 결과물을 발표하였다. 학습자 중심의 e-PBL 학습법은 학습자들이 프로젝트 주제를 직접 선정하고 수행함으로써 자기주도학습, 문제해결능력과 의사소통능력 및 책임감 등을 향상시킬 수 있다. 학습자들의 e-PBL 학습성과에 대해 5점 리커트 척도를 이용하여 조사한 결과, 학습자들은 e-PBL 학습법을 통해 동기부여 및 흥미를 유발할 수 있었으며(4.17점), 전공지식에 대한 이해도를 높일 수 있었다(4.17점). 또한, 학습자들은 의사소통능력(4.33점), 문제해결능력(4.25점), 의사결정능력(4.21점)을 향상시킬 수 있었다고 응답하는 등 전반적으로 e-PBL 학습법에 대해 만족하였다. 특히 학습자들은 팀원들과 밀접한 의사소통과 상호협력이 문제 및 전공지식에 대한 이해력 향상에 효과적이었다고 응답하였다. 향후 산림교육에 적합한 e-PBL 학습모델을 개발이 필요하며, 효율적 수업시간의 운영과 e-PBL 학습법 지침 및 제도적 지원이 마련됨으로써 보다 효율적이고 성공적인 산림교육의 발전을 기대한다.

Antifungal Activity of Medium-Chain ($C_{6}-C_{13}$) Alkenals against, and Their Inhibitory Effect on the Plasma Membrane $H^{+}$-ATPase of Saccharomyces cerevisiae

  • Aliphatic alkenals having 6 to 13 carbons were evaluated for antifungal activity against Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The activity was gradually increased with chain length, e.g., (E)-2-decenal and (E)-2-undecenal exhibited maximum potency, while (E)-2-dodecenal and (E)-2-tridecenal were completely inactive. Alkenals showed increasing inhibitory activity with chain length, as in the case of antifungal activity, towards glucose-induced medium acidification by the plasma membrane $H^+$-ATPase of S. cerevisiae. The group including (E)-2-nonenal, (E)-2-decenal, and (E)-2-undecenal exhibited maximum potency, but the potency of (E)-2-dodecenal and (E)-2-tridecenal demonstrated a sudden drop with respect to the former group. (E)-2-Nonenal revealed dose-responsive inhibition to the medium acidification and inhibited over 90% at a concentration of 1.25 mM ($175.3{\mu}g$/ml). In contrast to (E)-2-undecenal whose inhibitory efficiency increased with incubation time, inhibition by (E)-2-dodecenal was reversed with time. Of the tested alkenals, (E)-2-heptenal and (E)-2-octenal most highly inhibited ATP hydrolytic activity by the plasma membrane $H^+$ ATPase, while (E)-2-heptenal at 10 mM ($1121.8{\mu}g$/ml) showed an inhibitory efficacy of 93.2%.

이러닝 학습성과에 미치는 영향 관계 분석에 관한 연구 (A study of an analysis into effects and relations on learning performance from e-learning)

  • The objective of this study is to seek ways to maximize learning effects from e-learning by drawing improvement directions through investigating and analyzing an awareness of e-learning among e-learning attendees. The study was conducted among the attendees who are taking the e-learning program operated by K University and collected data from the students taking second semester in 2018 with the use of structured questionnaires. For data processing, SPSS Statistics 22.0 and AMOS were used, along with such analytical methods as frequency anslysis, descriptive statistical analysis, ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), t-analysis and cross tabulation. For significant data, it conducted an analysis by carrying out the Scheffe's test. According to the findings from this study, they showed a significant difference only in gender and curriculum desired to be opened in the question about e-learning participation motives per background factor. As for the learners' motives to study, it was confirmed that they tend to become more biased on time utilization and convenience of learning methods. The analysis of which factor of the three - learning factors, system factors and instructor's factors - has greatest effects on learning satisfaction indicated that learning factors influenced learning satisfaction the most in accordance with values for non-standard coefficient beta, followed by instructor factors which had a direct effect.
