Among many open libraries under the rule of the Japanese imperialism, only the railroad library as the character of special library under the control of the Japanese Government General is remarkable for having opened its facilities to outsiders as well as the interior users. This study tries a) To look into what were the colonial background, aim and motive of the establishment of the railroad library under the Japanese rule, b) To analyze its activities and the change of its organization, c) And to find out its vestiges an the effects which it has on our country's library circles. The following are the result: A. The railroad library under the rule of the Japanese imperialism functioned as a public library by the outside book's circulation rather than the interior using. B. The outsiders were qualified to use it only when they got the joint guarantee for the city resident, which means that the o n.0, pportunity of the circulation was not free for the Koreans rather than the Japanese. C. From the aspect of collections, technical books such as natural science, and reference ones tended to be collected, and their whole composition was focused on the materials for the Japan-Korea identification scheme and development of the national spirit as the Japanese empire's subjects. D. In the respect of its organization, all the clerical employees, as well as the chief librarian were composed of the Japanese. Although the Koreans were in principle prohibited from working there, a few of them were employed as guard or servant as the China-Japan War was close to the end. E. The area of the outside book's, circulation service was expanded throughout the whole region along the railroad connecting Pusan with Manchuria. Such a service activity which contained several meanings, was tried by means of culture's books, circuit's books, train's books, hotel's books, mind's development books and reader's reading books etc. F. Such matters as the limitation on book circulating and the quantity of circulation book, the paid circulation and the partial restriction on free circulation mean the wartime system under the rule of the Japanese imperialism and also a n.0, ppeared as a factor of hampering the Koreans from getting accustomed to using library, which has affected them until now. G. The noticeable thing in the service activity is shown in attempting the diversified and positive way of service like free circulation in order to solidify the attitude of the Koreans toward war by organizing mind's development books as well as culture's books with the China-Japan War. H. On the other hand, it can not be passed over that the diversified service activity of the railroad library played a role of bridge in turning of today's library circles of ours to the modernization.

본 연구는 공공도서관에서 제공하는 전자책 서비스의 현황을 파악하고 전자책 이용을 위한 접근에서 열람에 이르기까지의 전 과정을 분석함으로써 현행 공공도서관 전자책 서비스의 문제점을 파악하고 그에 대한 개선 방안을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 먼저 분석 대상으로 선정된 4개 도서관을 비롯한 국내 외의 전자책 서비스 사례를 다양하게 수집하여, 현재 제공되는 공공도서관 전자책 서비스를 구축 및 운영 주체, 이용자 인증 방식, 대출 및 열람 방식을 기준으로 유형화하였다. 전자책 이용 분석은 분석 대상인 4개 공공도서관을 대상으로 PC 기반과 모바일 기기 기반의 전자책 서비스로 나누어 수행하였다. 분석은 이용 경로 및 방법, 검색 방법, 콘텐츠 유형 및 뷰어, 대출 및 반납, 이용안내 등의 항목으로 이루어졌다. 파악된 문제점은 전자책 사이트 접근의 어려움, 복잡한 초기 설정과정과 포맷별로 상이한 이용 방식, 불충분한 도움말과 이용 안내, 상업적 서비스에 비해 느린 속도와 이용편의성 부족, 전자책 특성에 맞는 검색 기능 부족 등이었으며, 이러한 사항들에 대해 특히 어린이 이용자의 특성을 고려하여 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 향후 공공도서관의 전자책 서비스 활성화 및 이용 증진을 위한 고려 사항으로 전자책에 대한 사서의 인식 및 태도 개선, 도서관 주도적인 전자책 서비스 운영, 단말기 대여 및 공간 확보 등을 통한 이용자 관심 촉진, 이용자와 이용자 요구에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 한 서비스 개발의 필요성 등을 제시하였다.

Product-service system (PSS) is a system of products and service, supporting networks and infrastructure that is designed to be competitive. PSSs satisfy customers' needs more effectively and have a lower environmental impact than traditional business models. Therefore, many companies and governmental institutes are eager to implement the PSSs as a new business model. In this paper, we focus on industrial practices as new business models for the company. PSS, especially, is popular in electronic industry, so one can often observe such examples as iPod, iPhone, e-Book and etc in the field. We first thoroughly investigate the current practices of PSS in Korean electronic industry. The examples are surveyed and projected directions are given. Then, non-electronic PSSs are surveyed. Especially mechanical PSSs are intensively discussed. Based on the survey results, we propose several major development strategies of Sustainable PSS (SPSS). SPSS will bring a competitive edge for company as realization of sustainable development of PSS considering economy, society, and environment.

컴퓨터의 등장과 과학기술의 발달로 인하여 기존의 종이를 이용한 정보의 전달과 보급에서 점차 전자 매체를 이용하는 방향으로 전환되고 있다. 이러한 변화와 더불어 인터넷과 전자상거래의 비약적인 발전은 전자북이라는 새로운 형태로 정보의 제공 및 보급을 위한 모델을 창출하기에 이르렀다. 그러나 디지털 컨텐츠를 이용하는 전자북 시스템은 컨텐츠의 특성상 복사와 배포의 유연성으로 말미암아 저작권 보호라는 중대한 난점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 전자북 시스템의 컨텐츠를 가변적 암호키를 사용하여 사용자측에서 재생산하는 방식을 제안함으로써 전자북 컨텐츠와 저작권 보호를 위한 전자북 보급 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

In the 21 st century, broadcasting, communication, and computer have been integrated due to the development of digital technology. Accordingly, to overcome the limit of respective communication media and to maintain them, their independent area shall not be classified. This study is to examine the future environment of digital TV broadcasting, to analyze customizing type service and interactive type TV technology, and to make asymmetric interactive digital TV publication broadcasting system, which is TV broadcasting in the next generation to treat visual image, sound, and various data all together by harmonizing broadcasting and communication like ISDB(Integrate Service Digital Broadcasting). In addition, to develop service on publication broadcasting with high quality, this study is tn propose to develop relative devices for TV/PC reception to realize a new communication type TV publication broadcasting, by analyzing technology for producing, sending, transmitting, receiving, and saving to apply to customizing type interactive system and by examining its application.

납본시스템 기반의 유통 플랫폼을 설계하였다. 도서관이 출판플랫폼이어야 한다는 기존 논문의 완결작업으로 국립중앙도서관의 납본 시스템과 연계하여 전국의 도서관망을 체계적으로 묶은 전자책 유통 플랫폼이다. 목적은 전자책을 하나의 유통 공간으로 묶어내고 자연스럽게 독자를 규합함으로써 국내 출판사, 저자, 서점 및 다양한 출판/구독 서비스를 수행중인 플랫폼들의 가상 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 수행하기 위함이다. 전제를 전자책의 판매가 아닌 임차 개념이지만 이와 무관하게 플랫폼은 유효하다. 뿐만 아니라 플랫폼을 출판/독서와 연관된 모든 구성원의 이익을 대변하기 위하여 사회적 협동조합의 형식을 취하였다. 납본시스템 기반의 유통 플랫폼은 현실과 타협한 가장 이상적인 비즈니스 모델이다. 개념적 (Conceptually)으로는 출판 콘텐츠 관련 산업의 서비스는 독립적으로 운영되면서 협동공간인 납본시스템으로부터 모든 콘텐츠가 공급되는 모형이며 기술적(Technically)으로는 중앙의 전자책 데이터베이스가 모든 콘텐츠의 흐름을 장악하지만 가상적 (Virtually)으로 출판 콘텐츠 관련 산업이 그 흐름을 제어하는 형식을 취한다.

It is the concept of this paper to build up the convergence type of the total class service system, and the goal is to develop the education services, which are differentiated from existing digital textbooks and development tools. We establish developmental programs and convergence strategies from market analyses related to apps and digital education. Then this paper proposes 'E-Class Author Service System (ECA)' as an education service system based on the tablet PC. It is the convergence system of the app type of textbook development tool and class management system. Teachers can produce and develop class materials and textbooks using the app type of textbook development tool in ECA service system. They can also add necessary functions from the class management system for efficient class progress. ECA improves the interaction and communication between a teacher, student and parents in the sever-based network. This study expects that ECA will achieve prior occupation of the app market as an educational app development tool and reduce private education expenses.

현재 무선 인터넷 접속 서비스는 3G 이동 통신 네트워크, mobile WiMAX, WiFi 등을 통해 언제 어디서든 이루어지고 있다. 다양한 무선 네트워크가 혼재해 있는 환경에서 사용자는 상황에 따라 네트워크를 선택할 수 있어야 하며 또한 동종 또는 이기종 네트워크간 이동성 지원도 필요로 하고 있다. 이러한 이유로, 서비스 지역이 가장 넓은 3G 네트워크를 주축으로 3G-mobile WiMAX(IEEE 802.16e)와 3G-WiFi(IEEE 802.11)에 대한 연동 방안들이 많이 연구되어 왔다. 그러나 최근 넷북, 전자책, 스마트폰 등의 등장과 함께 무선 인터넷 사용이 늘면서 mobile WiMAX와 WiFi 서비스 지역이 급속히 증가하고 있으며 특히 인터넷 전화 서비스와 같은 실시간 애플리케이션 사용이 가능해 짐에 따라 전통적인 음성 서비스를 하는 3G 이동 통신 네트워크의 비중은 점차 줄고 무선 인터넷 접속네트워크인 mobile WiMAX나 WiFi는 그 비중이 점차 커지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 mobile WiMAX와 WiFi간 이동성 지원과 핸드오버 지연을 최소화 하는 PMIPv6(Proxy Mobile IPv6) 기반의 핸드오버 방안을 제안한다. 제안한 방안에서 이동 노드(MN)는 WiFi와 mobile WiMAX 두 개의 인터페이스를 갖는 이중 스택 구조이며 WiFi가 이동성 지원을 하지 않으므로 기존 동종 네트워크간 핸드오버시 게이트웨이간 핸드오버 시그널링을 처리하는 기능을 이동 노드에 두도록 제안하고 있다. 동종 네트워크간 핸드오버와 비교해 제안된 핸드오버 방안은 해석적 평가를 통해 핸드오버 지연 및 전송 지연과 시그널링 오버헤드가 감소함을 보여준다.

This paper presents a research model, which identifies a relationship between medical error reduction, efficiency of organizational systems, and employee satisfaction with organizational support. The proposed model was tested through hypotheses, based on data collected from 210 respondents from the medical staff of large -sized (i.e., more than 500 beds) residential hospitals in cities of South Korea. The results of the study showed that medical error reduction is associated with corrective system and employee satisfaction with organizational support. Therefore, it is very important that organizations improve their employees' satisfaction by providing sufficient support (e.g., information support and sharing, work guide book, etc.) for their work. In addition, in organizational systems, the corrective system has positive relationship with medical error reduction. In terms of corrective procedures, leaders or managers can make improvements by providing and supporting a friendly work environment where errors may be reported without blame and discussed in order to be corrected.

Non-linear document navigation refers to the process of repeatedly reading a document at different levels to provide an overview, including selective reading to search for useful information within a document under time constraints. Currently, this function is not supported well by small-screen tablets. In this study, we propose the concept of structure-aware touch-based scrolling (SATS), which allows structural document navigation using region-dependent touch gestures for non-sequential navigation within tablets or tablet-sized e-book readers. In SATS, the screen is divided into four vertical sections representing the different structural levels of a document, where dragging into the different sections allows navigating from the macro to micro levels. The implementation of a prototype is presented, as well as details of a comparative evaluation using typical non-sequential navigation tasks performed under time constraints. The results showed that SATS obtained better performance, higher user satisfaction, and a lower usability workload compared with a conventional structural overview interface.
