  • The some papers which deal with the dynamic instability for shell-like structures under the dynamic excitation have been published, but there are few papers which treat the essential phenomenon of the dynamic buckling using the phase plane for investigating occurrence of chaos. In nonlinear dynamic, examining the characteristics of attractor on the phase plane and investigating the dynamic buckling process are very important thing for understanding why unstable phenomena are sensitively originated by various initial conditions. In this study, the direct and indirect snapping of shallow EP shell considering geometrical nonlinearity are investigated by Galerkin method numerically. This finding out the characteristic of the dynamic instability through the phases curves and running response spectrum.

  • Purpose: The study has identified factors affecting dynamic capabilities and the distribution of competitive advantage under the impact of dynamic capabilities of Vietnamese fintech businesses. Research design, data, and methods: The method used in this study is a survey analysis of 120 Vietnamese fintech businesses to test the hypothesized relationships of the research model as well as evaluate its effectiveness. The study uses the Cronbach alpha analysis, factor analyses, and structural equation modeling to assess the research's measurement and structural models. Results: Research results show that 3 critical success factors: "Capacity to develop financial service ideas," "Ability to develop a platform," and "Business capacity" have a positive impact on "Dynamic capabilities." In addition, the study also evaluates the effect of "dynamic capabilities" on the "competitive advantage" of fintech businesses. Conclusion: Theoretically, this result contributes to discovering new, specific factors affecting the dynamic capabilities of fintech businesses. In practice, the research results are empirical evidence of the distribution of competitive advantages of Vietnamese Fintech businesses and their impact on dynamic capabilities.

  • The resolution issue of wetness index with relaxation of the steady state assumption is explored on the platform of Digital Elevation Model (DEM). The variabilities of the quasi-dynamic wetness index and the dynamic wetness index are discussed on the base of the spatial and statistical aspects depending upon resolutions of DEM and the drainage time. The organization patterns of the wetness index can be observed upon various drainage times and pixel size. The transient behaviour of wetness patterns of the Sulmachun watershed are shown in the relatively short drainage time. The statistical analysis of the quasi-dynamic and dynamic wetness analysis provide the convergence of analysis results to the steady state characteristics later than 10,000 hours drainage time. The probability density functions of the quasi-dynamic and the dynamic wetness index shows the existence of the threshold pixel size of DEM which provide stability and consistency in the computation result of these two wetness index.

  • The importance of entering the international market for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has been continuously emphasized. As a way to overcome these factors, prior studies have increased interest in dynamic capability. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of entrepreneurial orientation, learning orientation, and dynamic capability on their international performance of SMEs. Drawing on an extensive review of the literature on dynamic capability view and internationalization, hypotheses are developed and tested using a sample of 214 SMEs in South Korea. Structural equation modeling was applied. As a result of analysis, first, dynamic capability has a significant effect on international performance. Second, entrepreneurial orientation has significant influence on dynamic capability. Third, learning orientation has significant influence on dynamic capability. Lastly, slack resource was found to moderate the relationship between dynamic capability and international performance. The results indicate that their entrepreneurial orientation and learning orientation ware driver of their dynamic capability. and that their dynamic capability was significant driver of their international performance. In the final conclusion, implications and limitations of research and suggestions for future research are discussed.

  • The wet-end dynamics of a paper mill was analyzed to characterize its dynamic behavior during the grade change of paper. The model representing the wet-end section is developed based on the mass balance relationships written for the simplified wet-end white water network. From the linearization of dynamic model, higher-order Laplace transfer functions were obtained followed by the reduction procedure to give simple lower-order models in the form of 1$^{st}$-order or 2$^{nd}$ -order plus dead times. The dynamic response of the wet-end is influenced both by the white water volume and by the level of wire retention. Effects of key manipulated variables such as the thick stock flow rate, the ash flow rate and the retention aid flow rate on the major controlled variables were analyzed by numerical simulations. The simple dynamic model developed in the present study can be effectively used in the operation and control of paper mills.s.

  • In this paper, the dynamic response was analyzed by performing linear dynamic analysis using historic earthquake loads on twisted-shaped structures and fixed structure among free-form high-rise structures with atypical elevation shape following prior studies. In addition, the dynamic characteristics of the analysis models according to the plane rotation angle of the twisted structure were compared and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, as the plane rotation angle of the twisted structure increased, the interlayer deformation rate increased in the high-rise part of 50th floors or more. The story shear force and the story absolute acceleration were similar in the entire structure. In the case of the story shear force, the response of the twisted shape model was rather reduced in the middle part. As a result of analyzing the dynamic response, the vulnerable layer where the response amplification of the twisted structure occurs was found to be 31st story.

  • Various supplementary authentication methods are used to supplement user authentication and authorization provided by existing password verification online1. In recent years, authentication and authorization methods using user attribute information have been studied and utilized in various services. User attribute information can be divided into static information and dynamic information. The existing methods focus on research to identify users using dynamic information or to generate challenge questions for user reauthentication. Static information such as a user's home address, school, company, etc. is associated with dynamic information such as location information. We propose a method to verify user attribute information by using the association between two attribute information. For this purpose, the static information of the user is verified by using the user's location record which is dynamic information. The experiment of this paper collects the dynamic information of the actual user and extracts the static information to verify the user attributes. And we implemented the user attribute information authentication system using the proposal verification method and evaluated the utility based on applicability, convenience, and security.
