옹벽의 활동에 따른 배면 동적토압의 변화 (Variation of Dynamic Earth Pressure Due to Sliding of Retaining Walls)

  • 현재 옹벽의 배면 동적토압을 산정할 때 주로 등가정적해석법인 Mononobe-Okabe 식이 이용되고 있다. 하지만 이식은 벽체와 뒤채움 지반간의 동적상호작용을 고려하지 못한다는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 벽체와 뒤채움 지반간의 동적상호작용을 분석하기 위하여 건조 사질토로 뒤채움한 옹벽에 대하여 진동대 시험을 수행하였다. 벽체 단위중량, 입력가속도의 진폭 그리고 벽체 바닥면 거칠기를 변화시키면서 이들 각 인자가 동적토압에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 벽체의 활동속도가 작은 경우에는 동적토압과 관성력간은 180도 위상차를 가졌지만 활동속도가 큰 경우에는 동적토압에 관성력과 동일한 위상을 가지는 작은 정점이 발생하였다. 동적토압의 크기는 벽체가속도와 벽체단위중량의 크기에 비례하였다. 또한 Mononobe-Okabe 방법으로 계산된 동적토압은 측정된 동적토압의 상한값으로 나타났다.

The Relationship between Dynamic Balance Measures and Center of Pressure Displacement Time in Older Adults during an Obstacle Crossing

  • Purpose: This study examined the relationship between the center of pressure (COP) displacement time during the stance phase and dynamic balance ability when older adults cross a 10 cm obstacle. Methods: Fifteen older adults were enrolled in this study (all ${\geq}65$ years of age). The F-scan was used to measure the COP displacement time when subjects cross a 10 cm obstacle, and the Dynamic gait index. Berg's balance scale and the Four square step test were used to measure dynamic balance ability. Results: The Dynamic gait index, Berg's balance scale and the Four square step test were correlated with each other. Dynamic balance ability was correlated with COP displacement time during the stance phase at an obstacle crossing in older adults. Conclusion: People with higher dynamic balance ability show a smaller COP displacement time during the stance phase at an obstacle crossing. Therefore, dynamic balance ability can be predicted by measuring the center of pressure displacement time.

교대부양 설정압력 변화가 인체조직의 동적인 관류특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Alternating Set Pressure Changes on Dynamic Tissue Perfusion Characteristics)

  • The quantitative effectiveness of powered support surfaces such as APAM in preventing and treating pressure ulcers has not been sufficiently evaluated because of uncertainty of alternating pressure load input and lack of interpretation of dynamic perfusion characteristics of soft tissue. The aim was to verify the dynamic loading effects to sacral tissue perfusion characteristics from alternating set pressure changes. We developed integrated experiment system to supply alternating load to supinely positioned sacrum and concurrently measured $TcPO_2$, $TcPCO_2$ and air cell pressure. Ten aged subjects (5 female, 5 male) were tested with alternating set pressure 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60mmHg. From the dynamic perfusion response eight characteristic parameters were proposed such as average, minimum, maximum and perfusion range regarding to $TcPO_2$ and $TcPCO_2$. A one-way ANOVA was carried out to determine whether the manipulation of alternating set pressure had any effect on $TcPO_2$ and $TcPCO_2$. From the dynamic tissue perfusion response we found mean $TcPO_2$ decreased exponentially as alternating pressure load increased and perfusion range varied mainly because of minimum level change of $TcPO_2$. And perfusion range of $TcPCO_2$ affected by increase of maximum value of $TcPCO_2$. From the results we can get more strict insights about actual physiological dynamic tissue perfusion mechanism under alternating pressure load.

  • A specific experimental method, the split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) technique has been widely used to determine the dynamic material properties under the impact compressive loading conditions with strain-rate of the order of 103/s~104/s. In this paper, dynamic deformation behaviors of rubber materials widely used for the isolation of vibration from varying structures under dynamic loading are determined using a Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar technique.

  • Dynamic pressure is one of the major sources on noise emission in hydraulic axial piston pump. This paper reports an experimental study of dynamic pressure characteristics in the cylinder port of hydraulic axial piston pump. We investigated dynamic pressure with not only the effect of delivery pressure, rotational speed and temperature but also V-notches at the ends of the kidney ports in the valve plate. We experimented three valve plates with three type V-notches at the ends of the kidney ports, because V-notches of the valve plate is known of noise reduction. Finally, we hope this paper help to design of the valve plate in hydraulic axial piston pump.

  • Fluid dynamic bearings have several advantages that low noise, high rotational stability and low friction. So, early 2000s, the HDD spindle motors have been replaced ball bearings to fluid dynamic bearing. Most of studies apply inner boundary condition that is inside of bearing pressure larger than atmosphere pressure. Therefore, they used Half-Sommerfeld or Reynolds Boundary condition. This paper investigates the dynamic coefficients of the plain journal considered vapor pressure. As a result, it shows that the vapor pressure effect cannot ignore.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine whether there are any differences, with and without a toe spreader (TS), in dynamic foot pressure distribution in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy. Methods: Dynamic foot pressure recording using the RSscan system were obtained during walking in 12 participants (male=7, female=5) with and without TS. Mean force was measured for four different plantar regions; great toe, forefoot, midfoot, hindfoot. Displacement of center of pressure (COP), velocity of COP displacement and stance time were also measured during gait. Results: TS walking exhibited statistically significant decrease of mean force under great toe and forefoot (p<0.05), compared with a barefoot walking. Also, TS walking exhibited statistically significant increase of antero-posterior displacement of COP (p>0.05). Conclusion: These findings indicate the potential clinical utility of toe spreader to correct dynamic foot pressure during stance phase in children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy.

  • Dynamic pressure is one of the major sources on noise emission in oil hydraulic piston pump. This paper reports an experimental study of dynamic pressure characteristics in the cylinder bore of oil hydraulic piston pump. We experimently measured dynamic pressure at BDC with delivery pressure, rotational speed and oil temperature. Because the V-grooves at the ends of the kidney ports with three types valve plates. We hope this paper help to design of the valve plate in oil hydraulic piston pump.

  • In this paper, linearized dynamic characteristics of parallel line pivoted pad thrust bearing(hereinafter refer to PLP thrust bearing) was analyzed by perturbation method with inlet pressure. Inlet pressure and excitation frequency irfluence dynamic characteristics of PLP thrust bearing at all operating condition, such as angular pivot position, mass of pad. Therefore, the characteristics is have to analyzed with inlet pressure, excitation frequency, mass of pad and thickness of pad. Otherwise, the analysis is able to estimate the characteristics over or under.

  • In this paper, linearized dynamic characteristics of parallel line pivoted pad thrust bearing (here-inafter refer to PLP thrust bearing) was analyzed by perturbation method with inlet pressure. Inlet pressure and excitation frequency influence dynamic characteristics of PLP thrust bearing at all operating conditions, such as angular pivot position, mass of pad. Therefore, the characteristics have to be analyzed with inlet pressure, excitation frequency, mass of pad and thickness of pad. Otherwise, the analysis may be over or under estimate.
