Development of a 3D Simulator and Intelligent Control of Track Vehicle (궤도차량의 지능제어 및 3D 시률레이터 개발)

  • This paper presents a now approach to the design of intelligent contorl system for track vehicle system using fuzzy logic based on neural network. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural network-fuzzy, and back propagation algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. Moreover, We develop a Windows 95 version dynamic simulator which can simulate a track vehicle model in 3D graphics space. It is proposed a learning controller consisting of two neural network-fuzzy based of independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simply the neural networks-fuzzy. The dynamic simulator for track vehicle is developed by Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics. The performance of the proposed controller is illustrated by simulation for trajectory tracking of track vehicle speed.

A Study on the Stabilization Control of an Inverted Pendulum Using Learning Control (학습제어를 이용한 도립진자의 안정화제어에 관한 연구)

  • Unlike a general inverted pendulum system which is moved on the cart the proposed inverted pendulum system in this paper has an inverted pendulum which is moved on the two-degree-of-freedom parallelogram link. The dynamic equation of the pendulum system activated by the DD(Direct Drive)motor includes many nonlinear terms and has the high degree of freedoms. The problem is followed hat the exact mathmatical equations can not be analized by a general linear theory However the neural network trained by a simple learning method can control the dynamic system with hard nonlinearities. Learning procedure is the backpropagation algorithm with super-visory signal. The plant inputs obtained by the designed neural network in this paper can stabilize the pendu-lem and get the servo control. Experiment results have proce the effectiveness of the designed neural network controller.

  • Tutorial contents of kinematics and dynamics of a wheeled drive mobile robot are presented. Based on the dynamic model, simulation studies of position tracking of a mobile robot are performed. The control structure of several position control algorithms using visual feedback are proposed and their performances are compared. In order to compensate for uncertainties from unknown dynamics and ignored dynamic effects such as slip conditions, neural network based position control schemes are proposed. Experiments are conducted and the results show the performance of the vision based neural network control scheme fumed out to be the best among several proposed schemes.

  • Over the years, the widespread proliferation of multimedia services has necessitated the development for an efficient network management. In this paper, we investigate the role of adaptive online pricing mechanism in order to manage effectively the network congestion problem. Our on-line approach is dynamic and flexible that responds to current network conditions. With a simulation study, we demonstrate that our proposed scheme enhances network performance and system efficiency simultaneously under widely diverse traffic load intensities.

  • In this study the NARX was proposed as a novel approach to forecast electric load more accurately. The NARX model is a recurrent dynamic network. ISO-NewEngland dataset was employed to evaluate and validate the proposed approach. Obtained results were compared with NAR network and some other popular statistical methods. This study showed that the proposed approach can be applied to forecast electric load and NARX has high potential to be utilized in modeling dynamic systems effectively.

  • In this paper, a blackbox approach is carried out to model the nonlinear dynamic bushing model. One-axis durability test is performed to describe the mechanical behavior of typical vehicle elastomeric components. The results of the tests are used to develop an empirical bushing model with an artificial neural network. The back propagation algorithm is used to obtain the weighting factor of the neural network. Since the output for a dynamic system depends on the histories of inputs and outputs, Narendra algorithm of 'NARMAX' form is employed to consider these effects. A numerical example is carried out to verify the developed bushing model.

  • In this paper, we discuss frequency allocation and sharing for high speed radio access network in domestic 5GHz the band. In order to evaluate the possibility of frequency sharing between meteorological radar and high speed radio access network, we analyses radio interference of meteorological radar by means of minimum coupling loss method and Monte Carlo simulation. And simulations show that it is necessary to use DFS(Dynamic Frequency Selection) scheme for frequency sharing between meteorological radar and high speed radio access network.

  • This paper evaluates performance of a dynamic wavelength and bandwidth allocation algorithm of TWDM PON (time and wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network) which consists of an OLT (optical line termination) and multiple ONU (optical network unit). The allocation algorithm reduces the number of upstream wavelengths to save power. Using self-similar traffic, we simulate TWDM PON systems and measure the average packet delay and the average number of upstream wavelengths.

  • This paper proposes a new dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm for an XG-PON (10-Gbps-capable passive optical network) system in which an ONU (optical network unit) does not explicitly send its request to an OLT (optical line termination). To estimate the request of the ONU, the OLT monitors the upstream bandwidth usage of the ONU and periodically allocates a probe slot to the ONU.
