In this paper, we implement a navigation software of a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver based on a commercial purpose GNSS software receiver platform and verify its performance by performing experimental tests for various GNSS signals available in Korea region. The SX3, employed in this paper, is composed of an application program and a Radio Frequency (RF) frontend, and can capture and process multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS signals. All the signal processing procedure of SX3 is accessible by the receiver software designer. In particular for an easy research and development, the Application Programing Interface (API) of the SX3 has a flexible architecture to upgrade or change the existing software program, equipped with a real-time monitoring function to monitor all the API executions. Users can easily apply and experiment with the developed algorithms using a form of Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files. Thus, by utilizing this flexible architecture, the cost and effort to develop a GNSS receiver can be greatly reduced.
Mashups have become very popular over the last few years, and their use also varies for IT convergency services. In spite of their popularity, there are several challenging issues when combining Open APIs into mashups, First, since portal sites may have a large number of APIs available for mashups, manually searching and finding compatible APIs can be a tedious and time-consuming task. Second, none of the existing portal sites provides a way to leverage semantic techniques that have been developed to assist users in locating and integrating APIs like those seen in traditional SOAP-based web services. Third, although suitable APIs have been discovered, the integration of these APIs is required for in-depth programming knowledge. To solve these issues, we first show that existing techniques and algorithms used for finding and matching SOAP-based web services can be reused, with only minor changes. Next, we show how the characteristics of APIs can be syntactically defined and semantically described, and how to use the syntactic and semantic descriptions to aid the easy discovery and composition of Open APIs. Finally, we propose a goal-directed interactive approach for the dynamic composition of APIs, where the final mashup is gradually generated by a forward chaining of APIs. At each step, a new API is added to the composition.
PURPOSES: Implementation and verification of the simple linear cohesive viscoelastic contact model that can be used to simulate dynamic behavior of sticky aggregates. METHODS: The differential equations were derived and the initial conditions were determined to simulate a free falling ball with a sticky surface from a ground. To describe this behavior, a combination of linear contact model and a cohesive contact model was used. The general solution for the differential equation was used to verify the implemented linear cohesive viscoelastic API model in the DEM. Sensitivity analysis was also performed using the derived analytical solutions for several combinations of damping coefficients and cohesive coefficients. RESULTS : The numerical solution obtained using the DEM showed good agreement with the analytical solution for two extreme conditions. It was observed that the linear cohesive model can be successfully implemented with a linear spring in the DEM API for dynamic analysis of the aggregates. CONCLUSIONS: It can be concluded that the derived closed form solutions are applicable for the analysis of the rebounding behavior of sticky particles, and for verification of the implemented API model in the DEM. The assumption of underdamped condition for the viscous behavior of the particles seems to be reasonable. Several factors have to be additionally identified in order to develop an enhanced contact model for an asphalt mixture.

With the development of the Internet, the number of cyber threats is continuously increasing and their techniques are also evolving for the purpose of attacking our crucial systems. Since attackers are able to easily make exploit codes, i.e., malware, using dedicated generation tools, the number of malware is rapidly increasing. However, it is not easy to analyze all of malware due to an extremely large number of malware. Because of this, many researchers have proposed the malware classification methods that aim to identify unforeseen malware from the well-known malware. The existing malware classification methods used malicious information obtained from the static and the dynamic malware analysis as the criterion of calculating the similarity between malwares. Also, most of them used API functions and their sequences that are divided into a certain length. Thus, the accuracy of the malware classification heavily depends on the length of divided API sequences. In this paper, we propose an extraction method of optimized API sequence length and combination that can be used for improving the performance of the malware classification.

The use of malware in cyber threats continues to be used in all ages, and will continue to be a major attack method even if IT technology advances. Therefore, researches for detecting such malicious codes are constantly tried in various ways. Recently, with the development of AI-related technology, many researches related to machine learning have been conducted to detect malware. In this paper, we propose a method to detect malware using machine learning. For machine learning detection, we create a feature around each call interval, ie Time Interval, in which API calls occur among dynamic analysis data, and then apply the result to machine learning techniques.

Ajax based on Java Script receives attention as an alternative to ActiveX technology. Most portal sites in korea show a tendency to reopen existing services by combining the technology, because it supports most web browsers, and has the advantages of such a brilliant interface, excellent speed, and traffic reduction through asynchronous interaction. This paper modeled and implemented a multilingual meta-search service using the Ajax and open APIs provided by international famous sites. First, a Korean query is translated into one of the language of 54 countries around the world by Google translation API, and then the translated result is used to search the information of the social web sites such as Flickr, Youtube, Daum, and Naver. Searched results are displayed fast by dynamic loading of portion of the screen using Ajax. Our system can reduce server traffic and per-packet communications charges by preventing redundant transmission of unnecessary information.

With the development of technology, driving simulators have been used in various ways. In driving simulator experiments, scenario creation is essential to increase fidelity, achieve research aims, and provide an immersive experience to the driver. However, challenges remain when creating realistic scenarios, such as developing a database and the execution of scenarios in real-time. Therefore, to create realistic scenarios, it is necessary to acquire real-time data. This study intends to develop a method of acquiring real-time weather and traffic speed information for actual, specific roads. To this end, this study suggests the concatenator for dynamic data obtained from Arduino sensors and public open APIs. Field tests are then performed on actual roads to evaluate the performance of the proposed solution. Such results may give meaningful information for driving simulator studies and for creating realistic scenarios.

The Android framework allows apps to take full advantage of personal information through granting single permission, and does not determine whether the data being leaked is actual personal information. To solve these problems, we propose a tool with static/dynamic analysis. The tool analyzes the Source and Sink used by the target app, to provide users with information on what personal information it used. To achieve this, we extracted the Source and Sink through Control Flow Graph and make sure that it leaks the user's privacy when there is a Source-to-Sink flow. We also used the sensitive permission information provided by Google to obtain information from the sensitive API corresponding to Source and Sink. Finally, our dynamic analysis tool runs the app and hooks information from each sensitive API. In the hooked data, we got information about whether user's personal information is leaked through this app, and delivered to user. In this process, an automated Source/Sink classification model was applied to collect latest Source/Sink information, and the we categorized latest release version of Android(9.0) with 88.5% accuracy. We evaluated our tool on 2,802 APKs, and found 850 APKs that leak personal information.
